I just want to share my experience at this nail salon. It was my first time place is clean, they took me right away. However the job that was done to my nails was horrible! They gave me a student who is learning, she did a shitty job on my pedi and did a much shitty job on my nails! She took off my gel nails and didn't bother to brush off the dust just went ahead painting my nails. Her personality was dry as toast was not friendly at all! I am so disappointment how the outcome came to my pedi/ mani the loss of $52 spent on horrible service is a lesson i have to swallow. I will not return here for my nails. read more

came in for a walk in gel manicure, was told i'd have to wait a half hour which was totally fine. when i saw sat down, the manicurist used the machine to start filing off the gel, then painted a chemical on my nails. right after she applied the chemical, she had an appointment come in and stopped working on me without telling me anything, just started working on the other client while the chemical sat on my nails. it was over a half hour with the chemical burning on my nails without anyone telling me what's going on before i asked to wash my hands since i wanted to leave, at this point because my friend i came in with was done (we had been in the salon for over an hour at this point). the woman who did my friends nails finished mine, and needed to file off all the gel because the chemical the previous manicurist was already hardened so she couldn't use a tool to scrape my previous gel off with. at this point i just wanted clear gel so my nails were ruined from all the filing, and was still charged after having to sit there with stuff burning on my nails and no communication with what was going on. awful communication and no care or concern for customers. read more

I called French Connection to see if I could come in as a walk in and they were very professional stated it was better to make an apt because of the busy holiday. So I did. I was seen by Heather who was quite lovely. Great conversation and she was also a pleasure to talk with. Only come when I am in town visiting, was very happy with her and my service today. Had a regular manicure with beautiful silver slight sparkling nail polish. Heather did a wonderful job and I stated I will most likely be back before I head out of town to upkeep my cuticles because of the cold weather beating on my skin. FANTASTIC!! While they opened later than required, they put a lot of work into making the place safe. Hand sanitizer and temperature check upon entering, great dividers between techs and clients, everything is sprayed and cleaned after each appointment, ultra light and alcohol on instruments and powder, and techs alcohol spray themselves before they leave. I am very disappointed with my experience here. I paid $500 for my eyebrows to be microbladed. I was very disappointed after two sessions, Cindy said she would do a touchup to fix them for an additional $50. I did that, and these are my results after three sessions. When I reached out to Cindy, she refused a refund for this bad service. I wish I could include pictures with this review, my eyebrows look terrible Note: I have received the service at two other salons and had fantastic service and results so it is not my skin type or any other factor like that. read more

Was possibly the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. They didn't listen to me about what I wanted, and completely screwed up the coloring. Then when I asked for a refund, I was told that they don't do refunds. And then just stared at me waiting for a tip. Like, you don't get a tip if you don't even listen to what I want. What a lovely place. I've been to nail salons everywhere and have not had a gel mani as good as this one. So many times, they leave a huge gap because they didn't cut my cuticles. Not this place. The woman took the time to make sure every nail was perfect and matched in length to the other hand. After two coats, he looked and said it's uneven in color so She added another coat. Me and my girls came to French Connection to get our nails done for my Sunny Hill wedding. Tan was amazing! He was very personable and was cracking us up the whole time. I got a full set and my nails came out fantastic! I had a design on my ring fingers and he re-did each hand a few times until they were absolutely perfect. What a find!! Saw this salon as I was looking for parking at the new Hannaford! Stopped in and asked if they had time for a manicure and they said 30 mins. I had time to run to food store, get what I needed, then went back to the salon! The salon can accommodate perhaps 10 manis and pedis simultaneously! This is my go to nail salon but will rethink that after this evening. I had a 6:30 appt which I arrived for 5 minutes early. 3 customers came in after me. my hands were put in water to prepare for my manicure and there I sat for near 45 minutes while a gel color, and 3 pedicures were done without one word of apology or when I could expect my manicure to be done. it was rude and highly unprofessional .was my simple manicure less important than the more costly services done before me? My mom and I were on vacation and stopped in for pedicures, a fill and a wax. The two owners were very cheerful and sweet and said they could take us in an hour, which was perfect. The young girl that gave my mom a pedicure did a nice job and asked lots of questions about how she would like it done. My nail tech that gave me a pedicure has a long way to go. While working on me she talked to the other girl about all the services she hates doing-manicures, acrylics, gel polish, waxing-that's a lot. She even talked about cutting people a lot when she started out (while cutting my cuticles) and how scary it is, why would you even say that! She was really unprofessional. She did a half ass massage, I was really excited when She pulled out the hot stones-then it was really obvious she just wanted to go home. She did do a nice job painting my nails. I went to this salon last week after calling for an appointment earlier in the day. I was placed with the owner's aunt who was friendly but did a terrible job on my nails. I needed a gel mani/regular pedi as I had a special event to attend later that evening. The manicure came out worse than when I do it at home. There were uneven brush strokes on every nail, the edges were rough and uneven, there were a ton of bubbles and two of the nails had to be redone in the salon. The appointment was taking forever and I really couldn't stay and ask to have the rest of the nails re-done. Besides, I didn't expect a different result. As for the toenails, I carefully walked around in flip flops for over 4 hours. However, when I put on my evening shoes later that evening, they smudged as if they had just been painted. I didn't have time to do anything, so I walked around at the event worrying and stressing all night, hoping no one would notice the horrible pedicure. I thought I could find a good local nail salon but turned out it was a waste of $55 and I would never go back to this place. read more

Made and appointment to get a pedi yesterday, I always request Rose. She use to be the best, somehow I felt rushed and not treated as I use to be. She even had a timer go off as she was doing my pedi, really, during a trip that I would think should be relaxing and enjoyable why the timer?????? I had serviced this place for a few years now and even though I do not go every 2 weeks, I was so disappointed with the quality of service and being rushed was just plain rude.
