We were on a road trip from MN to CA and our car broke down in Cody. This town is middle of nowhere vibe and the (local) mechanic promised us a week worth of time to repair. We did not have that much time. We ultimately decided to upgrade our car and ditch it in Cody. This was 1 of 2 dealerships we could get a car in Cody. When we arrived at this dealership our sales representative was somewhat cordial. He was not too outgoing or friendly. He did what he had to do to make a sale, as for us, we had no option but to buy a car and GTFO this state! Despite this dealerships effort to approve our car finances, their execution of the sale was effing terrible. They decided to send our title to Sacramento, CA. I understand since they do not live in this sunny state they would not have a clue that there is a DMV 5 minutes away from where I live. When I called the dealership to express my frustration about driving 2 hours to get the damn title, the receptionist on the phone said she did her research and that was the closest DMV she could find close to my city Mill Valley. Please do it yourself and google Mill Valley CA, it is nowhere fvcking near Sacramento. Our sales rep, who we did not care to remember his name as he was horrible in customer service did not bother to ask us where the title should be sent, which could have avoided this. Again he was off and uninterested in us as customers even though we were looking to finance a 20K car. Since we are now over 1k miles away, there is nothing more we could do but leave a shitty review on the business. read more

Like our trade in had eight seats, and we were missing our eighth seat and seatbelt in our new Pacifica as agreed. We inspected the new Pacifica when delivered; when we discovered the eighth seat wasn't there and asked the sales delivery person Leslie about it, she said she would look into it. Our new Pacifica didn't come with a compressor or a temporary license for a new vehicle and I was very stressed at having to drive it to do needed things with the children and then all the way to Cody, Wyoming in hopes of having our eighth seat installed along with getting a compressor but it didn't happen. We were able to pick up the temporary license along with an argument and foul mouth from the Sales Manager RJ Stewart. Our Pacifica was to be delivered the day before on Tuesday September10th but was instead delivered Wednesday. I was also told by Leslie, she would have me sign a paper [everything was acceptable] regarding the delivery of our Pacifica and this was a misleading statement. it was not done. I would not of signed it without the eighth seat and seatbelt. Bought a new 2024 Pacifica. I'm not happy with the business. They were not appropriate with the sales agreement I'm very disappointed. It was to have eight seats and seat belts like my trade in. They told me it wasn't in writing. No spare tire or compressor that they said would be shipped. I was driving without the temporary license plate they forgot to put on. Fremont Ford Motors Cody. Make it clear. I'm happy with our second Chrysler Pacifica. Our first Pacifica had 225K miles, with minor issues associated with those miles. I'm very unhappy with the way Fremont Ford Cody did business with my Family. Ok where to start. If i could rate any lower than 1 star I would! I came in to trade in my truck back in november of 2022 and was promised a truck the same week because it was down in Riverton,Wy. Well going on 3 months and still no truck. I found out that the truck that promised was in an accident. Found that out Jan 2023 , and was told it would be done the Jan 27,2023. And yet again failed on their promises. Didnt even offer me a loaner vehicle for making me wait on a truck that didnt even exist. So waited on a broken truck they shouldnt even have tried to sell! Then their sales manager Mike, got to speak with him on the phone and he raised his voice and even cussed at me. The sales rep Lacy did a great job on keeping me in the loop, but i had to stay on the truck and call myself to figure most of the BS out. So 2 months going on 3. I walk home empty handed and wasted time. This place is trash and please no one go there. read more

No body shop at this service center. Pretty ridiculous for a dealership, even if it is a small town. They recommend private body shops in Cody, which I can't imagine would honor a *dealer* warranty! So don't come here expecting your warranty to actually be out to its purpose. Disappointing, I guess I will have to plan around trips to Billings for those things. Service received (oil change) was good, and the people working were friendly and knowledgeable. It's not their fault that the dealership itself falls so short. read more

We were traveling from Texas and our truck started showing multiple maintenance warnings. A local mentioned that we could go to Fremont Motor and would be treated fairly. Jason got us back on the road quickly with everything repaired properly. He went above and beyond! It was wonderful to visit a business that treated visitors like locals. Thank you. read more

I was attempting to get my F350 diesel in for services, oil change etc.. I was on my way back home to Cody from another state. I was trying to get an appointment for when I got home. Over 6 days, I called the dealership atleast once a day and the only available answer was "everyone is busy", can I take a message? Well, no. Out of the many many messages I have left I have received maybe two call backs so leaving a message is a waste of time. Last time I called I got the same run around. I've been to that dealership many many times so I know the layout. So I asked the lady on the phone, you are telling me that over the last 6 days I've been calling every single person working there has been busy? She said yes. So you can set there and confidently tell me WITHOUT looking with your own eyes that everytime I call EVERYONE is busy? And she said yes. It apparently is too much to ask for someone to make actual human contact with someone else they work with to help a customer. I had enough and didn't have time to play their games. I am officially done with the one here in Cody. I called the dealership in Powell immediately after the last call with Cody, it took maybe 2 minutes to get on the schedule for the following day. I should have listed to everyone when they told me to avoid the Cody location to begin with and just use the Powell location as it is known to be better than Cody. So, I am now a customer for Powell and will not recommend or visit the Cody dealership again. The Powell location has been much friendlier and more helpful in the four days I have been association with them. read more

This service department just did a great job for me. Was on the road from Seattle and our transmission was acting weird. Took it in and they diagnosed a tranny fluid leak, topped it off, and told me it was slow and wouldn't need immediate repair and even got me a part list to use when I got home. Didn't push an immediate repair on me and didn't overcharge me. Jesse in the service department did a great job. 5 stars. read more

I was in town this week visiting family and had experienced some steering problems on the way in to town. Given that it was a short holiday week I had no expectations of being able to schedule service at such short notice. I called them on Monday and they were able to get me in 2 days later. Not only did they address and correct the steering issue, but they proactively researched active warranty recalls and found 3 of them on my truck. They completed the 3 recall maintenance items, the steering issue, oil change and topped off my DEF as a complimentary item. Service was outstanding and friendly. Thanks again guys! read more

I went to this Ford dealership seeking a remedy to a problem with the emission system on my 2014 E450 HD V 10 and left empty handed. They couldn't even bother to take a quick look at it to see if it was safe to drive. My problem was a extreme pressure build up in my gas tank a check engine that was on steady and a heavy smell the of gas fumes throughout the unit and when you're carrying 18 gallons of propane this tends to worry you. The young man gave me a few names of local RV repair services and told me to check with them and maybe they could help me out. I would like to point out that this small motorhome has less then 5,000 miles on cost me $89,000 dollars and is fully covered under a worthless warranty as it appears. I went to one of the places he recommended and that fellow said he was to busy to help me but even if he could he wouldn't because he said I'm fully covered under the Ford 3 year 36 month warranty along with the extended emissions warranty,, which I agreed. Anyway if you're a traveler and a long time Ford stock investor and you were looking for help with a Ford,,, I wouldn't waste your time stopping here. I intend to notify the Ford Motor Company who has a special department dedicated to owners of their motorhome chassis to assist me. In the meantime I shut down the propane system and am limping along to the next town. read more
