History
Established in 2016.
Fremont Math Hub was founded by Abhay Singh in 2016 with a simple mission: to bring high-quality, affordable, and locally tailored math tutoring to Fremont families. From day one, it has been uniquely focused on students in the Fremont Unified School District, teaching directly from their textbooks with custom homework, concept-driven lessons, and exam preparation, rather than following a generic curriculum.
Led by a handpicked team of postgraduate-level math experts and experienced teachers, the Hub began offering online and in-person tutoring for grades 4–12, with special tracks for accelerated and AP students. Their signature approach combined small class sizes (3 students max), adaptive daily practice, and regular parent feedback, fostering both academic growth and confidence in math.
We received numerous glowing parent reviews highlighting tutors who go “the extra mile,” transforming test scores and attitudes of the students toward math.
Meet the Business Owner: Abhay S.
I started Fremont Math Hub after helping my own nephew, who was struggling with basic math. In just six months of working with him, he went from a below-average student to getting A+ grades. That experience opened my eyes. I realized that so many students are taught to memorize formulas without really understanding why they work. As a parent, I saw the same struggle with my own child, and it pushed me to do something about it. I built Fremont Math Hub to focus on small-group learning, where students are placed by skill—not just by grade—so each one receives the attention they truly need. Math isn’t just numbers; it’s about logic, reasoning, and confidence. That’s what we aim to build here. With personalized support, flexible teaching, and deep engagement, my goal is to help every child not only excel in math but also understand and enjoy it.
