I was called to pick up my vehicle , only to arrive and be told it wasn't ready and I have to wait more, wasting nearly 2 hours of my time. Service Advisor and Service Director offered dismissive excuses ("human error," "same name/car coincidence") and unprofessional customer handling. Staff talked to me (gaslighting) as if I "misheard" the pick-up confirmation. A simple "free oil change" was offered as if it is a favor, does not compensate for the significant operational chaos, lack of accountability, and rude behavior received. AVOID THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT LIKE THE PLAGUE! Good luck getting these folks to diagnose your problem. I think the service team must be both deaf and blind! These guys charged me $300 for diagnostics, kept my car for nearly two weeks, all so that they could tell me that a loud, very obvious engine tapping was completely normal. They lied to my face to say that they drove the car, but odometer numbers showed they definitely did not. This shows me that the service department is both dishonest and incompetent. Good luck getting them to honor your warranty. After taking the car back and having them finally admit the engine is broken, the service manager, Tony Ma, is refusing to honor the warranty and accusing me of failing to change my oil, even after I supplied him with receipts showing my many on-time oil changes. Tony keeps repeating "the oil filter looks like it's never been changed". Wellll.... that's what happens when the engine is tearing itself up inside - all that particulate matter is going to end up in the oil filter. It's incredibly insulting to be told that I'm a liar when I've clearly provided evidence to the contrary. I've been nothing but polite and forthcoming with these people but they appear to have a vested interest in providing poor service and denying legally-binding warranty coverage. read more

I'm really disappointed with the service I received at this dealership. When I went in for a service, I was told I had a leak in one of the shocks. The service rep mentioned they would order the part and notify me when it arrived. A few days later, the service rep, Erlinda D, texted and called me repeatedly, asking for a 5-star rating. She was very persistent. Three weeks later, I started hearing a unique sound coming from my brakes. I called Erlinda to make an appointment, which she scheduled for a week later. When I arrived for the appointment, I discovered that there was new ownership, and all appointments had been canceled. Given the safety concern with the brakes, I tried to reschedule and finally got an appointment two weeks later. I brought my Jeep in, and they diagnosed a problem with the brake booster, which needed to be replaced. Erlinda assured me the part would be in by the beginning of the next week and that she would call me. However, two months have passed without any follow-up. I've left messages that have not been returned. It's ironic that Erlinda was so eager for a positive review initially, but after receiving it, she failed to follow up, take care of my car, or communicate with me. I am still waiting for the shock replacement part. Her service has been poor, and her follow-through has been nonexistent. This experience has made me very discouraged about getting service at this dealership due to the hassle of getting someone to do their job. read more

Worst customer service imaginable. They assigned a very junior, untrained rep (initials C. L.) to manage my fairly simple auto repair. They held my car for seven days in the shop, didn't pick up the phone or respond to the text system to provide updates, show total disregard for customer's needs and time. They overcharge for the simplest repairs and have absolutely no idea how to manage communication or project scheduling. This is not my first experience with their poor service. I regret purchasing my Dodge Dart, and the main reason is because I have to deal with this repair shop. They are sure to ruin your day...actually whole week. You'll be without your car for at least a week. You'll get a portion of the fixes requested and leave very angry or crying. This junior rep was not trained well and the manager was nowhere in sight. I don't even know where to start. My elderly father took his truck in to have a leaky manifold replaced on 4/24/24. He was told it would take 2 days. No problem. He was told the cost would be approximately $2200.00. On 4/26/24 my father called to tell his service advisor Daniel Downey that he has a warranty on the truck and it should be covered and he should only pay his deductible. Daniel looked it up and said that he made a mistake and didn't see that my father had a warranty. He has to "redue" paperwork. On 04/26/24 at 4:52pm my father received a call stating that the truck was ready for pickup and they close at 5pm. REALLY? 8 MINUTES? What kind of customer service is this? They are closed on the weekend so now we have to wait until Monday. 04/29 My father calls to see what time we can get the truck - Daniel advised him that until the warranty is approved that the truck can't be picked up. Wait..... again where is the customer service? It was Daniel's error. My father said to let it be. 05/02/24 still no car. I did my homework and called the warranty company and other Dodge dealership and they were astonished that this was happening. Said we should have the truck by now. I call Daniel and he was stuck on he made a mistake and how he is human etc etc. I agree people make mistakes and that is ok. However you are holding an elderly gentlemans truck hostage because of YOUR mistake? I asked for a rental, he said they don't have rentals. That is not true because dealerships have rentals for clients. I did my homework and again I wasn't given the truth. I asked to speak to his Manager, right away Daniel states he's in a meeting.I asked to speak to the General Manager again no hesitation he's in a meeting. I don't trust Daniel or anything he says. I told him I would wait. He puts me on hold and a few moments later comes back and states he talked to his Manager (wait... isn't he in a meeting?) and we can come and pick up the truck (that the repairs have been made on last week!) and pay the $100 deductible. I took my father and we got him truck. Looking at his invoice they had a bogus email for my father. My father doesn't have email. What is going on with this dealership? I feel it is taking advantage of elders for sure! If I didn't intervien who knows when he would have been given his truck back. Not good customer service at all. I left trusting that the team understood my concern, the urgency of my fix and that they would do all they could to fix what was wrong. I appreciate Jesus following back up with me to let me know progress checks and my car has been running great. If I were to change one thing, the general diagnostic did take a while to get back to me. But with my appointment being a last minute schedule I was happy they could accommodate me before the holidays. read more

I've had my Kia forte for a year and 5 months. In that year and 5 months, my car dies the day after I get it they refuse to come and pick it up and fix it. I have to manage to drive my way there. I try and return the car since not even 24 hours having it is it failing? They tell me know that they'll fix it that they'll fix it I can't return it and they fix it out on my way the car dies in the middle of oncoming traffic. They put me in a rental. It takes three weeks to fix and it was a problem with the ignition. I get a recall on my car that I was told by the service department was optional because it was a software update I choose not to go through with it, I called them they're holding my tags and my license plate until I get the recall done They let me know two weeks before the recall was due three weeks before the three months before I receive my tags and license plate were over. Then three months into having the car I take a trip to visit my mom in Arizona drive all the way there as soon as I get there my AC and heater stopped working. You can turn it on but no air will come out hot or cold. as soon as I got back, I turned in the car they gave me a rental. They kept it for three weeks. I unfortunately got the replacement car that they were letting me use towed which is completely my fault so I asked them to give me my car as is thinking that at least they should've been done at least a little bit with it in the three weeks that they had it no was just sitting in their yard untouched for three weeks while I was paying for gas every day for Dodge charger. Took it back to get fixed since it's under warranty. They need to fix it and it shouldn't be broken in the first place. They told me they put new tires on it as soon as I got it I've only driven 12,000 miles and my tires are literally about to fall off. New tires should last you a good 60,000 miles maybe even 50. But 12? And last but not least I was in my car ready to start the day and my car AC and heater won't turn on and the same thing that happened in Arizona is happening again not even a year later.. I on a Saturday because I have an appointment on Monday to get an oil change with them per my maintenance package. The guy on the phone is incredibly rude talking to me like I'm giving me no shit Sherlock answers and it's very telling that they don't care about the people that have bought cars from them, especially if they're having a terrible time he said multiple times that he wasn't here when I bought the car so that's Null and void there's nothing he could do to help me. The only thing that I wanted to tell him and I knew the sales department was the only thing open not service, but I wanted him to make a note saying that my AC blower motor is also out and that they need to fix it as well or send me back to Kia so that they can fix it and he refuses to do that. Yep that's right they are still trying to fix the air conditioning / Fan system for the 7th time. Complete Failures all around. The service guys Timothy and Ace don't care at all. Had my car's first oil change here and was helped by Jesus Lee. He was very helpful in getting everything set up. Dropping off the car was quick. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful. I was offered the option of being given a ride home, but my husband was coming to pick me up. The car was ready in a few hours and when I came to pick it up, I was able to get my car quickly. They do try to offer you add ons to the service, which make it more expensive, but when I declined, I didn't feel pressured to get the add ons and the price ended up being much more reasonable than I expected for a dealership. read more

Stay away from these scammers. I took my charger in because of technical issues with they connect radio. They couldn't diagnose it. But they charge me diagnostics fee. They couldn't fix the problem. They had to get a hold of some engineers on the East Coast, who could not resolve the issue. Then have the nerve to charge me a $200 diagnostic fee. A week later, I got a hold of uconnect. And they told me that I was due for an upgrade, and to get a USB drive, download the software onto the USB and plug it into the vehicle. Guess what, that works. Cost me two dollars for a USB. I've had the pleasure of visiting "Fremont CDJR" three times now within the past 6 months; once for a regular service maintenance, once for an additional FOB and the third time for a side mirror replacement (My fault) on my Dodge Ram 1500 -- During all three visits, I experienced nothing but EXCELLENT service. 5 Stars! The environment is VERY pleasant, positive and customer focused. The staff is so friendly, they really care; I was asked multiple times; "Have you been helped?" -- Even by Edward, which I later found out was the manager. He is an involved Manager, every time I go there, I see that Edward continues to strive in making sure the customer is happy. (Let me also disclose to you, that I am a VERY meticulous person.) I took my Jeep GC for oil change. I did not have a chance to walk I and was already greeted by Edward. We went though the routine of check in and Edward informed that the shop doesn't open till 9am. Some shops are ok but no "service", you have to drive up there and wait. Some shops are pricey. This dealer ship has most efficient way to reserve a time slot for you and they will send you back by a lyft trip with no charge. You can always check status. I scheduled a maintenanced oil change at the Fremont CDJR. Upon arrival, I was greeted immediately by the service/technician workers outside. Walking in I was greeted and assisted by Chris J. He went over the logistics of what would be done to my car, the cost, etc. Chris J. also assured me that my car would be done in a timely manner. I went out to breakfast after, and an hour later Chris J. called that my car was done. He handed me my keys opened my car door, and I was on my way. Went for 10K maintenance schedule and told them that the battery has an issue because the start/stop orange light is on. Long story short, they did diagnostics (which should be part of that maintenance already, I mean what is the point of that maintenance schedule to check batteries), changed both batteries, charged a ton of labor so ended up paying $1,400+ which I think is too much. That's for the cost. For customer service, also aweful, I brought the car in Monday early morning. Had couple of calls with Jay all along I have been saying its the batteries that have issues. He said he might need to have the car till the next day and said he will call me. Next day no call, so I called around 4pm he said it's not yet done and said how about Wednesday around 10am I said it's fine just call me. Wednesday again no calls so I called in the afternoon I was already frustrated I left a message to the cashier that Jay promised to call me and I have been waiting. So he called me 4:48pm said it's done blah blah blah I was trying to ask questions he interrupted me saying we have 12mins and he need to set up payment link so I can pay by 5pm so I can pick up the car as late as 7pm. When I got the payment link OMG $16,800plus!!!! So I texted back said I'll just go there on Thursday and said I think you overcharged me too much. So on Thursday Jay tried to explain they had to do this and that and that they discounted some items and just need to pay $1,400plus but still I am not happy with this big bill for just basically the 10k maintenance which is $400+ and changing batteries. I basically paid $1k for changing batteries. Need to find new shop for maintenance. read more

READ THE OTHER 1-STAR REVIEWS: they are the norm and not the exception at this dealership. After working with them through all of their gaffs over the past 2.5 weeks, yesterday's experience has me writing this review to warn others of the malice and incompetence that went beyond unprofessional. From being told that the parts that CAUSED AN ACCIDENT THE DAY BEFORE were ordered when Ace lied as he was "having a bad day", according to the GM, to the wrong ones being ordered and then delayed due to the "sweet" girl in the parts department, I was already apprehensive about them being able to fulfill their warranty service. After delaying the body work (at a different facility) to accommodate their massive failures, BOTH of the correct, new ones were broken during install but I noticed immediately when I went to pick the vehicle up as the broken pieces were so obvious...I have no choice but to rate the parts & service department as incapable of fulfilling the easiest of tasks. Although the GM (Mo), Ed (Service Mgr), and Cynthia (Parts Mgr) all attempted to pass me off down the line until I landed onto one of the service associates (Jesus, who is the only one there who seems to be as baffled by the ridiculousness of my experience), they had no choice but to deal with me directly. My rating reflects how poorly they manage their teams. Their teams would/could not order or install sideview mirrors so they are having to pay another place to do it correctly after ordering expedited new ones to replace the ones they broke while installing. I would have waited until after they fulfilled their promise to make me whole after 2.5 weeks of insanity but I feel yesterday's experience should immediately warn anyone else that MANY customers are experiencing expensive and time-sucking incompetence at Fremont CDJR...even with something as simple as sideview mirrors of a vehicle they have all of the exact tools to do the work with. They thought they were just dealing with some piddly warranty repair with me. In fact, my boyfriend-the fleet purchaser and repair manager for a huge complex in the area-has been able to witness my experience first-hand to avoid taking any work or giving any business to this dealership. If the parts were not (supposedly) so hard to get, I would have taken the advice of CHRYSLER'S RISK ASSESSOR that inspected the faulty mirrors and gone elsewhere after they witnessed my experience about just getting the correct parts ordered.
