I can't say with certainty he was deliberately trying to scam me, but he's obviously giving tons of WRONG INFORMATION that could've cost me hundreds if not thousands of dollars while banking on me not knowing much about cars. On top of all that - after looking at the invoice I see they charge a 4% CREDIT CARD PAYMENT fee but didn't mention a single word about it.
