I was referred to this Auto Shop by a friend. They do honest work. I would recommend this place to friends and family.

They're even better than before because now Mike has a larger team, him and around 2 or 3 more guys. It's the same thorough service, but also shorter wait times. I tried a couple of mechanics near my new home. The commute is worth the trust. read more

Efficiency, professional service, courteous and friendly, fair pricing - it's all here! Great Crew.

My simple brake job turned into a horrible debacle. They will charge you to fix their mistakes. I won't be coming back.

They took good care of my car it's a great place for my car I trust them do fix what ever is wrong and they well done good job read more

Best auto service! High quality, high efficiency, and good price. Really nothing to complain.

Ask for Mike. He is the man to go to for your vehicle needs and trust. I was happy for his advice of DMV info, smog check, and radio removal and serial # retrieval. Glad you said my radio is all ready again! His staff mechanic is legit too. So far that's who I see, whom is a close referral so of course we'd drive out of time to see him. Mike is very business saavy, knowleageable, friendly, funny, amiable, professional, kind-hearted, and reasonable. So, if you're living in Fremont or living in any nearby cities in Silicon Valley like me, call them or come on by. You'll be in good hands. Thanks again Mike and Long! read more

100% happy customer. Mike's customer Service and knowledge was impressive. He updates me along the way. He has serviced and repaired a range of different cars for me: 1963 Ford Ranchero 2009 Honda Accord 2010 Lexus Es 350 1990 Volvo 240dl My go to! read more

Been with Irvington Auto for years since Mike's dad was still running the business. Mike was still a teen then. Never failed me. Brought in more than 10 to 20 cars to them. This is a shop you can trust. read more

Great service and customer friendly. I've taken both my cars here for a few reasons: 1) Close to home. 2) Affordable. 3) Trustworthy.

Affordable family owned auto repair. Family has been coming to this shop and their other shop on Washington Blvd for over 15 years. The most honest mechanics I have interacted with. Big or small mechanical issues they can can diagnose and repair all. They have replaced turbos for me, rebuilt transmissions, changes clutches, fixed flat tires, etc. So if your looking for a reliable mechanic shop, look no further. Talk to Mike, tell him Steven sent you. read more

Mike is one of the most compassionate and helpful humans you could hope to meet. He also can fix your car/RV engine. This is the spot!

Mike is a rockstar! Minivan was having issues last Saturday on our way to disco bay. Other area shops said they couldn't even look at it until Monday. Rented a car at Enterprise who suggested heading to Mike's, interrupted him mid-repair on another vehicle and with a smile he happily dove into checking what was up. Thinking the repair might need manufacturer assistance he suggested leaving the car and he'd figure it all out. So we split with our rental, and got a call from him 2 hours later indicating that he'd isolated the problem, made the repair, and was going to leave our keys hidden for us to pick it up on our way home-all without having my CC on file! Amazing service, great pricing and a friendly attitude make for a positive experience with Irvington, highly recommended. read more

My check engine light came on when I was traveling six hours round-trip today. Michael diagnosed my car problem, ordered the parts, repaired it for a great reasonable fee. And I'll be back on the road again in no time flat. No inconvenience, no high prices & no stress. I wish his shop wasn't an hour and a half away from home read more

Mike and Long are very professional, informative and always call me to update me every step of the way as far as repairs being done and always exhaust every option there is to save me money. I've only been coming here for a few weeks now for different repair issues and when I call, Mike answers the phone by addressing me by my first name. Makes me feel like we've known each other for years! Very dependable and prompt!! I would recommend these guys time and time again!!! read more

Straight badass dudes! These 2 dudes run the show on fixing your cars owner Mike and partner Long does fast turn arounds, they move thru 10-15 cars per day!!. Irvington Auto Center has been our favorite neighborhood auto maintenance/repair/smog check shop for over 20 years! Pretty straight forward & very reasonable pricing on your auto needs. Both at Washington Blvd and Fremont Blvd, we had nothing but positive experience with the technicians. They are very accommodative with time. Call Mike or Lam for your auto needs. read more

Great price, nice guy, and always reliable and quick. I've gone to Mike for about 4 years with two different cars either fixing headlights, changing oil, and replacing car parts. He knows a lot and remembers me from every time. He offers good prices around 25 for an oil change or smog check. It's a good deal read more

I called late on a weekday for availability for a smog check. Mike said come in 5 minutes and he could squeeze me in. The place was easy to find, right off of Grimmer Blvd, and I was in and out in 10 mins. Paid cash but they also can do credit card. Good price and good guys. Easy 5 stars. Also he has some cool, classic vehicles sitting around on the lot and I enjoyed checking them out! read more

I have had an awesome experience with Irvington Auto Center. I do have a few complaints, but Mike will honestly jump through hoops to do the job right and keep costs down. My check engine light was on and I needed a smog so I had to clear up what was going on. I thought any issues would be minor since Mike had looked it over in the past and said it would be fine to wait on any necessary repairs. It turned out in the end that I needed multiple things fixed. He kept it for a long time but didn't charge me an outrageous amount or try to pretend he'd been working on it the whole time. When it needed a second problem solved to pass the smog test, he scoured used parts dealers to try to find me a cheaper option. He really did stellar work and I'm very happy with the outcome and the cost. I have to warn you though, he tends to keep cars for longer than needed and wildly miscalculates the time necessary to finish a job. Often you have to call him and bug him because he doesn't always call you right when it's done. As mentioned in an earlier review, if your car needs test driving, it will be used to run errands. I too found some stuff of theirs in my car. I mean, it wasn't a big deal to me, and I only noticed later, but I do have to knock off one star for how unprofessionally they seem to run their business. That being said I do recommend Mike all the way, but don't be in a hurry with this guy. read more

My family been taking my cars to Mike and his father for 20 years plus. He always does a wonderful job with great and fair prices. After he is done with my cars they run so smooth. I have a 93' Acura Integra with over 200k miles that they have been maintaining since 94 which still runs smoothly today. I recently brought my Lexus Is300 2001 to get my power steering, automatic transmission fluid, and brakes pads changed. My car runs better than the day I bought it, it feels so nice. The Lexus dealership was going to charge me more than double what Irvington auto charged me. Finding an honest mechanic is almost impossible, good thing I have one. read more

Owner is friendly reliable trustworthy mechanic with reasonable price. Mike the owner is great. Got my timing belt done and got my smog and oil change done. read more

Had to get the engine redone. Mike did everything he could to save me time and money. The engine is running a lot better.

One of the best auto shops around, with two very honest and knowledgeable guys who provide great service. I've not only taken my car there, but have referred them to family and friends, all of who say they got the same honest and professional service that I've come to expect. They give a great price on any work they do - especially compared to a quote from a dealer. I highly recommend! read more

They deserve more than 5 stars. Honest and professional. Because of their great service, I've personal built a friendship with them. My family and I bring all of our cars here and never had a complaint . They have very reasonable in price . Thank you guys so much for great service! read more

Went here for a smog check because of their advertised price. Once they get you in there the price is something different. I don't play those games. I left and went some where I can get a straight answer. read more

Very honest, straight forward and you can always get a hold of someone. Great customer service. Fair pricing.

Mike and his crew are very nice and professional, Great service, repairs are done quickly at a Great price!

This is probably the best experience I've had with an auto shop, they are so ethical and affordable. I used to bring my car here to Irvington Auto Center and many times I was charged a lot less than I expected and they try their best to accommodate you even on short notice. The owner remembers all of their customers and their cars! I have been to a lot of other mechanics and always feel swindled because I am female and ignorant about the mechanics of cars, but here they are always fair and honest. I finally bought a new car so I probably won't need to bring my car here anymore but I heartily recommend them to anyone who needs an awesome local mechanic in Fremont. read more

i have been taking my vehicles here for the past 8+ years. they are very reliable, knowledgable and always take care of me. prices are very reasonable and they always finish your vehicle in a timely manner. i would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the tri-city area. i even commute from the central valley (patterson) for them to service my automobiles. they are that good! ask for mike :-) read more

Couldn't be more pleased with the service we received here! Mike and his staff are great! They were able to take us immediately and found the problem quickly! Mike kept us informed of all work done. The price was great! I love the honesty and great service! Will definitely bring my car back for future service. read more

We had recently purchased a Subaru for my son, and the A/C had a leak in it. I called Mike at IAC on the recommendation of the private auto dealer that we had purchased the car from. Mike was able to fix the A/C leak for 1/3 the price the Subaru dealer had quoted us!!! I had an appointment to be there at 9am, and was told it would be done by noon. Got there at 9:05am, and Mike called at 11am letting me know that the work was completed. Super nice guy, very professional and humble. If I didn't live so far from his shop, I would have every vehicle service performed there! Thanks Mike. read more

Horrible!!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. So I took my mom's car a few weeks back for a speed sensor. At first it seemed legit and honest, when we requested and E.T.A. they said a week and it actually took 2 weeks. We know when fixing an automobile some stuff might come up and we were aware of that so we didn't think much of it. The real issue came when we picked up the car. A month later after dropping it off my mom and I go to the shop only to find out it had been HIT and racked up about 5,000 MILES, there was stuff all over the inside of the car like if they used it as a company car!!!! While we were in shock I asked one of the guys why were there stuff in our car and bluntly he said "we used it to pick up car parts and stuff". So while my mom couldn't believe what had happen to her car, I go through it thoroughly and there also was a stack of folded boxes in the trunk and the cover of the spare tire was altered with. This is the bad part.... While I left the trunk open to look in it, an employee (the same guy I asked about the stuff in the car) reaches inside the trunk and PULLS OUT 3 BOTTLES OF REMY MARTIN hidden inside the trunk!!!!! I was furious. Who does that? Who uses a customer car for personal use and specially to carry any alcoholic beverages?. When we confronted the people in there they didn't know what to do, they kept blaming each other and saying they didn't drove the car. This is not how you run a business, horrible service and completely felt taken advantage of. People save your worries and go somewhere else it's not worth it trust me. please feel free to ask me any questions about this. again, most horrible service we've experience ever. read more
