I arrived at the office and everyone was so welcoming and kind. I had the privilege of working with Dania as my lymphatic drainage massage therapist and she was an absolute delight. I explained to her I've only had typical swedish and Thai massages before and she gave me a thorough explanation as to the difference and what to expect during the experience. She offered to explain the techniques during the massage if I like or if I would prefer a silent session. I love the option as I enjoy learning things related to health. Prior to the lymphatic drainage massage I used the add-on for the Cocoon Wellness Sauna Pod to prepare and relax my body and mind. It looks exactly like a space pod from a science fiction movie, but ever so calming. Laying in the pod you're exposed to infrared dry sauna heat, it looked like red light therapy, vibration massage and Himalayan salt therapy and aroma therapy. Relaxing in here put me in a calming state of zen that I'm usually unable to achieve by meditating. This was an eye opening luxurious experience as my body felt lighter as the lymph and fluid were pushed away from the area and towards my core/kidneys. I've also gained my bodily awareness as I tend to tense up my abdomen subconsciously which inhibits my ability to relax my mind, body, and vessels. This is truly a luxury experience that is experience feel special from start to finish.

We were offering some water while our baths were prepped. The receptionist also explained to us the rundown of the treatments and what would go in the baths. We were led to the room we would both have our bath and receive the massages. You can change into your swimsuit in this room as well. The bath water was a light blue color with slices of lemon floating in the water. We were offered tea or champagne to go with the fruits we could nibble on during our bath. After letting us soak for a bit, we received our facial and scalp massage in the bath which felt so luxurious. The technicians were very professional and checked in on us to make sure we were still good with water temperature. After that, we got a sugar scrub. My friend went to shower first and I was wrapped up in the plastic protecting the massage table and I thought this must be what a hard candy feels like. My skin felt so so so soft after the shower. The massage that followed for the next hour was excellent. The usage of the hot stones felt amazing and I only wished they could stay on longer! I actually had a healing ankle that was still giving me trouble and it felt so much better after the massage. All in all, this was a wonderful treatment and I highly recommend for couples or a pair of friends!

This time, I decided to schedule a mani & pedi at the end of my week stay as an added treat. When I tell you that I was shocked by my experience here, I mean it. There was nothing luxurious about this at all. And these are absolute top-tier prices for their services. They took me down the stairs after I checked in and I waited in this dark area as people were randomly walking back and forth from the pool area. A woman escorted me into this insanely small room (it looks like a closet) where there were 2 pedicure chairs right next to each other then 2 manicure stations across from that. I truly was shocked. I wanted to leave. Their website and spa detail information is so insanely misleading. This small room they cram you into has no windows, and is at the end of a dark hall. Forget that we are still dealing with the pandemic and there is zero social distancing. The two nail techs that were working were lovely but so obviously under appreciated & overworked. Which is beyond sad. My pedicure was ok but my manicure was the worst I've ever received. I wanted a French tip and the tech haphazardly painted each tip with a regular brush. Not one was the same. I also walked out and came right back to get some nail polish remover to clean up my own hands as I had white polish all over my skin. Just insane. The receptionist was appalled when I showed her my nails so she said she would take it off my bill ($65) was removed but I still paid over $150 plus tip for my mani and pedi. In my personal option, they should close down the manicure and pedicure options of the spa. It is not a luxury, high end experience. Quite the opposite. This was not a great way to end our stay here & it put such a bad taste in my mouth. I won't ever come back to the spa for any service at all.

It was worth every credit and I honestly would come back and pay the regular price! Upon arriving to the spa, the receptionist greeted me and gave me a tablet to check in and fill out my preferences for the massage, including choosing the style of music, scent of body butter, conversation level, and pressure. I loved they had a little display where you can smell the many body butter options before choosing one, and the friendly receptionist gave me her recommendations for a lighter scent. On the tablet you also answer questions about your health related to the massage (sensitive areas or injuries for example) so the masseuse is aware. After I was done they gave me a tour of the women's locker room which was immaculately clean. They had 2 changing rooms, a shower, private bathroom, a sink with lots of amenities, clean towels, slippers, and lockers. They gave me a locker which had my robe to change into. The robe was sooooo soft and fluffy. It had a nice weight to it, like I was wearing a blanket but with pockets! They encouraged I take my time and when I was changed and ready, I could walk into the lounge waiting area where my masseuse would meet me. The lounge had soft lighting, a nice variety of snacks and sweets and tea, comfy seating, a journal with little encouraging messages from past patrons, books and coloring, and a heated container with neck pillows that you can use! My masseuse arrived promptly so I enjoyed these amenities after my massage. The masseuse Eric was so lovely! They showed me to a massage room, oriented me to where to put my robe and glasses, and let me know the table was heated and they could adjust it to my preference. They also asked about my massage preferences and areas of focus. Once I was settled in, Eric came back and I had the most relaxing swedish massage! Perfect pressure and balanced on both sides. I was floating after! They brought me tea after and then I spent some time in the lounge. Overall incredible experience. All the staff were lovely, and the experience from entering the spa to leaving was so relaxing. I also loved the have a huge free parking lot! Its a shared parking lot in a plaza, so you can park right in front. It was a bit tricky to get into the lot from the main street if you have to turn left into it (you'll see a large sign for SPF which is a pickle ball spot that shares the lot). I ended up turning left into a small street and finding my way into the lot from there. Definitely check it out for your next spa day!

She appeared to understand the payment process and had clearly communicated that my 30-minute appointment was confirmed, but he insisted on getting involved. He was very intense and demanded that she ask another customer to leave for going over their treatment time due to issues with the massage robot. His behavior was unsettling and added to an already confusing experience. Most concerning, the business closed while I was still inside, along with a glitchy robot. Being left inside a closed business was a serious safety concern. The booking and communication issues were frustrating, but being left inside after closing was by far the most troubling part of the experience. Customers should never be left in that situation. It is a serious safety concern for customers and a security concern for the business.
