BEWARE: This is a dishonest business. They will take full advantage of their clients, only a few come to realize this. Thankfully I did, but not before they keep part of your money when you go back for a refund. This is honestly a HORRIBLE business. They need to be put out. I will post my BBB review on here, to keep it professional. **On April 27, 2015 I went to the Long Beach office to get auto insurance on my new leased car. I was told I'd have to pay a $616 down payment in order for my monthly premium to be about $160. That was a large amount so she offered make it in two payments. One charge of $466 that day and $150 in about one week would be charged to my card. That money was my "down payment" for my policy, that is exactly what Jazmin told me, and of course I needed the insurance so I paid up. We got to signing papers and she rushed through it all and I'm sure she had a sh** ton of papers that she kept putting aside and I only signed a few. Then I was given a non-itemized receipt. I was never told of the broker fee/ comission that they keep because they don't say it upfront. Had I known they charge so much for work I can do at home, I would never go, but I guess that's how marketing and advertising works right? About a week later I receive a bill from some unknown bulls*** insurance company asking for a $183 payment each month including that month! I go to their page to look at my policy and their website looked like it was created by a highschooler overnight. When I tried to log in it wouldn't recognize my information! I thought I was their customer! I emailed them and I still haven't received a response to this day!! I started to question the business and their employees when I went home with certain information and expectations and nothing matched up. Why was I charged so much and told it was my down payment? Why don't I remember being given a price for the service? Why did it feel like a super rushed service? And why was my premium higher than what I was told? Then I realized they are a dishonest business. They are liars and manipulators. The majority of their clientele are older minorities, most who depend on people like them to get things done, people who don't question because they don't know any better. And, that is how they get away with this! I went back to demand a refund for the "down payment" for my insurance policy that I didn't want anymore. And surprise surprise was Tatiana was fast to agree and do nothing but apologize for her dishonest employees for not explaining things thoroughly and misinforming. Coincidently, the second charge had "just been charged today" so I couldn't get my full refund. I had to wait for both charges to have been processed in order to receive a check in the mail. I was asked to come in the next day. So I did. I was told I'd only be receiving $326 out of the $466 because they charged a cancellation fee. My sister was told they'd only be taking $50 away as the cancellation fee and here they were telling me it was $150. Turns out my "down payment" included the undisclosed broker fee that these charlatans get as commission. It was never a down payment for my policy! Try this, go online and try getting insurance through any known insurance company, you'll be surprised to find no down payment required! Pay in full or monthly, that is all. Freeway Insurance makes bogus charges and make you believe it's for your policy but it isn't! I still haven't received my money back and will be disputing the $150 they are keeping for the sh** dishonest service I received. They do not deserve to keep my money for lying to me and catching them in their lies. Do yourself a favor and just go online and get yourself a policy through a reputable insurance provider, might be a bit more expensive but you are paying for quality and honest service. And, most importantly, your money will go into your policy. *To top it off, Jazmin sold me the wrong type of insurance for a leased car! How's that for professional incompetence? read more

When I discovered I was scammed, I called head office got my funds back, and received a call from them which I really appreciated. And I moved on. Then I get a call from 562-290-8193. As we all know when looking for options to get insured alot of the times as customers we get the run around. Agents always try selling us expensive auto insurance and it can be intimidating when your not familiar with the process. I went online looking for a quote. I was expecting to get the run around or get transferred over and over until finally I get the help I was looking for. Well this time right away I was called by an agent named Ruby and I must say I was very impressed in the way she handled the call. Ruby was very very easy to understand. Not only did I feel comfortable and in the right hands, Ruby also educated me on certain things about my options. This was a very pleasant experience. After all said and done, I asked about the 14$ reinstatement fee and Ruby offered her assistance in taking care of that as well. I understood it was already late and Ruby was close to leaving the office for the day. Unexpectedly I received a courteous call from Ruby stating that she was still at the office and wanted to know if I wanted her to help me with the reinstatement before she left for the night. I already had accepted that it was too late for the night and the reinstatement would be taken care of the next day. I must say I was very surprised but more than that impressed as to how Ruby went above and beyond to make sure her client was in good hands. Where do I start well right now my van is ready tobe repo do to know insurance. This car is the only thing I have for work. But because freeway will not fax lender about my insurance. Now it's come down to this where my van is ready for repo. this is not wright I have been a coustmer for 6yrs. The last review they didn't do anything either. If you are looking for insurance don't call freeway in long beach . thell take your money and never give you service or insurance. This freeway insurance should be closed. On 8-5-19 I went and got insuranse for my car at freeway insurance at 3397 n long beach Blvd suit 102 long beach ca 90807 whit JESSICA HERNANDEZ, assistant manager, I clearly told her wat I needed,but wen I got my insuranse package in the mail,I look at the policy they gaved me, and it was a totally difrent policy...so I went in person and spoke to Jessica Hernandez trying to resolve this matter,but all she try is to clarify by giving me false excuses and lieyng after lies over and over,she was so disrespectful and rude to me,all she wanted to do is to give me the same package again ,but I cancelled my policy immediately, she said I will get my full payment in the mail,but SHE LIE TO ME AGAIN.i paid $ 595.76 and ONLY GOT BACK $ 433.00,I WAS $ 162.76 SHORT,so I called her by phone to let her know and wen I was explaining my self ,she hang off the phone on me....so I felt I GOT RIP OF whit $162.76 ...i told my story to my coworkers at work and some of my family member that had freeway insurance, and some of them cancelled their policy and switch to other insuranse company after listening my story....so I want to tell everyone out there ,DO NOT GET AUTO INSURANCE AT FREEWAY, I felt I got rip off by unexperinse so call ASSISTANT MANAGER JESSICA HERNANDEZ read more

Bad experience here! Started off great with lower insurance rate but then received a bill for payment due 21 days later! U would think when u open a policy your payment is due 30 days later. Then on top of that my due date was the 1st of every month when my policy was open on the 10th! MY rep jazmine attempted to get my dates due to the 10th but in the process a double charge was going to be charged to receive that! So now I have opened my policy on the 10th of September have a payment due oct.1st AND oct. 13th! Wtf! Attempted to call jazmine to find out what happened was sent to her voice mail in which didn't allow me to leave a message and the manager Marvin couldn't help me and told me to call the bootleg company national. So now I'm on a run around with my account debited 2xs in a span of a month! Horrible experience and customer service was not helpful. read more

I wish I could give this insurance company no stars. I've had them for less than a week and I'm going to cancel asap. I've never had to deal with such a ridiculous insurance company. There was a point in which I thought I had been scammed. Still not quite sure. I called to get a quote and needed to get insurance right away since I had just purchased a car. I was told I'd receive my card through email within 5 minutes. An hour later and I received nothing. Called them back and I kept getting sent to different agents who couldn't help me. Then I was told they could fax the card to my dealership. The dealership never got them. I was told the scanners weren't working. My dealership had patience and told me they would wait. Freeway told me I'd get my cards through email as soon as their scanners started working. It's been almost a week and I've received nothing through email or mail. I keep trying to call and once again I keep getting sent to agents who aren't available. I can't believe a company can be so disorganized. read more

This company is horrible! I wish I would have read the reviews before signing up with them...but then again that is what I get for going with a cheap broker agency. The women at this facility are extremely unprofessional and "ghetto" I'm not even joking. First of all they called me over the phone and offered me insurance at about $29 a month and I asked if this is for sure after I gave them all my information and the lady on the phone assured me this was the case, I then went into a facility to start the policy and oh wow all the sudden it was actually $350 for 6 months which was about $60 a month, sinCE I was already there I decided just to go with it. I paid for the 6 months upfront and was told I would receive a renewal notice in the mail when my policy was up...the lady then told me after I paid the fees that it was actually going to be $20 more so I had to pay another $20 at that point. I was already mad that I had to sit and wait for service for over a hour, I paid and left. Got my renewal notice in the mail with the next 6 months, was told I could pay monthly rather than upfront which really didn't matter so I started paying monthly, two months down the line I realize they are charging me an extra $13 per month to pay monthly even though it didn't say anything, I call them to complain and they say I have to contact Anchor General it is up to them since they are my actually insurance company...I get off the phone with them and call Anchor...my next review after this one...I will never use Freeway Insurance again, it might be cheaper price wise but paying a little extra for other well known insurance companies is well worth it....I looked and couldn't find a yelp for Anchor General, it looks like they mostly work through the Freeway Insurance department...that company refused to refund my money in order to keep me as a customer. HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY, you will definitely regret it if you don't. I can guarantee it. ANCHOR GENERAL AND FREEWAY INSURANCE are both total scams. read more

This Company is really shady. I needed to renew my auto insurance, and stopped in to this office for a quote. They took my drivers licence, vin no. etc. and quoted me $160 for Liability and Uninsured Motorist. Great deal, so I say great I will set it up when my renewal comes around in April. I call back and am quoted $23 per month, even cheaper but I would 'have to come in to get that rate we can't do it over the internet'. So I say OK i iwll come in tomorrow, they say 'Oh, the rate may change by then...' So the girl says she will phone me back and see if we can take care of it. When she calls me back the price has gone from $138 to $299 for six months Liablity only. I say 'what happened to $23 a month?' she says 'that was only a quote..' I say 'I know I accepted the quote'. Bear in mind I am not a young driver, I have a completely clean driving record and a boring 4 cyl minivan. BAIT and SWITCH. Don't waste your time. The conversation I had with the girl made no sense whatsoever. Why would you quote $23 if it wasn't based on the details I gave you? Total waste of time. Staying with my current carrier. read more

I called to get a quote over the phone and the csr gave me a rate of "$60 down and $29/month". So i scheduled an appointment to go in person and when they had me there i filled out a few forms and after an hour of processing the csr said the cheapest she can get for me is $250 down and $49/month. (and I have a clean record in all 10 years I've been driving). So, basically it's a bait n switch. This is an agency that finds insurance companies for you, they are not the actual insurance company. Also, they are prepared to argue any excuse you may have for not wanting to purchase insurance at the time. They also team up and get their manager involved in pressuring you to buy insurance. read more

I most definitely do not recommend this freeway ins. I had unsatisfactory results. Jasmine, was the agent who was assisting me in obtaining auto insurance. I first dealt with her in the fall, 2012. Supposedly, she got all the info and paperwork that was required by the Insurance co. About a month later, I received a letter from the Ins. Co. requesting additional info. I called Jasmine and explained that the Ins. Co still needed paperwork in order for them to keep me insured. Jasmine said that she will take care of it. I thought everything was ok until I found out the policy was cancelled. She said that she will get me signed up with an Ins. Co. To make a long story short, the same thing happened again. I explained to Jasmine the ins. Co did not receive the pictures for one of the vehicles, which is required for coverage. I decided to go to another Ins. Agent. This agent got me insurance coverage for the same price that freeway was selling with more coverage. And Ms. Jasmine is the Assistance manager, her work ethics is totally unprofessional.i read more

if i can give this place zero stars i would. my parents went in and spoke to jessica hernandez and apparently she is an assistant manager. my parents only speak spanish but jessica was a spanish speaker who helped walk them through the process. my parents might only speak spanish but they're not dumb, they went in there knowing exactly what they wanted and she pointed to the paper and told them that was it. when the paper arrived in the mail in spanish this time, everything was the opposite of what they asked for. when they went in there she denied ever making any promises or assurances, and took no type of responsibility for her mistake and lied and blamed my parents for the whole thing. now trying to cancel the policy being charged for something they didn't want, she gives them more paperwork in english. i dont know how this person made it to be an assistant manager but im definitly telling all my friends and family and writing more reviews so no one goes to see someone so useless again. read more
