The house is so cute & our room upstairs was just the cutest. Our room was equipped with a tv, electric kettle, coffee/tea & mugs. The bathroom was impeccably clean & a delight. My favorite part of our room was the skylights in the room & bathroom. It rained during the night & it was so peaceful & nice to hear the rain fall as we slept. The next morning we were treated to a traditional Irish breakfast cooked by Bernadette. IT WAS AMAZING. She cooked us scones & brought them out straight from the oven. Oh my goodness. They were so soft & perfect. Our Irish breakfast of eggs, pudding, sausage & bacon was cooked perfectly. We felt so warm & comfortable during our stay, and simply loooooved breakfast. We cannot thank Bernadette enough for her warm hospitality & for opening her home to us. We will recommend Abbeyville & Bernadette to our friends!

As I showed up three…read moredays earlier than my original reservation, Madeline had to scramble a little to accomadate me. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated and relatively roomy. The beds were the most comfortable out of all the rooms I stayed in during my three week trip. Breakfast was delicious and in a beautiful garden room. I look forward to staying here again in the future.
