I obviously was concerned about this, but the company refused to amend the agreement to include the bonus they had already agreed to, and told me they would pay it out after I signed the agreement... an agreement that made them not legally liable to do so. I've never needed legal aid before, so I had no idea where to start, but I was able to find Avvo, which led me to Hugh. After I contacted him, explained the situation, and paid for his services, he went after the company quickly. He made sure to gather from me all the information he needed, and presented the facts to the company in an organized and clear way within one day of payment. , Hugh also cited the laws and governing bodies for Washington they were potentially violating.
