Beverly Grant has promised and agreed to provide attorney representation and now she absolutely refuses to represent me. She was very rude and irate over the phone; her paralegal Crystal Roberts was extremely rude and unprofessional. Crystal would repeatedly put me on extremely long holds when I would call in or when she would call, and her tone was very unpleasant. I had correspondence with Beverly Grant initially in March 2025, I explained the case that I had with Beverly Grant related to an employment matter, Beverly expressed she was interested and agreed to take the case. I had a consultation set up and unfortunately, there was a death in the family, so I reached back out to Julia, her paralegal at the time and cancelled. I recently got into contact with Beverly Grant again in July 2025. In the meantime I was working on my complaint with the EEOC and gathering evidence. I spoke with her paralegal Crystal Roberts, and she was very rude and unpleasant, I explained the issue again to her and would stop me mid-sentence and place me on extremely long holds. She set up a consultation for July 23, 2025 at 3 PM and stated the consultation fee would be 475.00, she further stated I could pay the fee when I arrive at my appointment. I agreed and sent an email providing documentation and details of my complaint. I sent all this information over immediately. I was also promised once again that Beverly would help me with this case. I then received an email confirmation that my appointment was cancelled, without notice, the reason being was for payment. I called Beverly and expressed to her that Crystal stated I can pay the invoice on the day of my appointment; there was no communication that I would need to pay a fee immediately. Beverly Grant asked me again to recall all of the events to her. She came off very irritable at this time, then stated fine I will hear you out and schedule an hour consult with you and you will be required to pay a fee, Crystal will call you in 5 minutes. When I didn't receive a call from Crystal within the time frame, I reached back out and was connected to Crystal. She appeared irritated with me and stated I'll call you back I am in the middle of something and hung up. About an hour later, she called back, and her tone was very aggressive. She stated I am going to put you down for 7/30 at 3 PM, then she put me on a long hold and stated, "No I am going to schedule you for 7/28 at 11 AM. When I tried to ask a question, she cut me off and stated, that's it, that's the only time we have. I then asked, to clarify that is the latest time? She stated yes, in a nasty tone. She further stated, I will need that payment by today. I added, I would like to make a phone call and will make the payment about the end of the day, you sent a link online for me to pay. She asked defensively, what do you need to make a phone call for? Are you trying to find representation somewhere else? I stated, no, I needed to make an arrangement and then I will have the payment completed. I also asked if she could make accommodation where I can pay tomorrow? She stated no maam, I take orders from Beverly not you! You need to make a payment by today or it's done. That payment needs to be processed by tomorrow morning. Then she hung up the phone. She was very rude. I received a call an hour later from Beverly Grant stating, I heard you were very rude to my paralegal, and I am not going to move forward with you at all! It seems you have a pattern, no I am done with you and will not move forward with you. She was extremely rude and abusive over the phone. When I tried to explain how her assistant was rude to me, she cut me off and said no she wasn't, I asked if she was in the room when we spoke, she stated no. I stated you can listen to the recording, she was very nasty, rude, short, and impolite, she also hung the phone up on me and would put me on extremely long holds. Beverly stated that doesn't sound like her, and I stated yes, she was very rude. Beverly further stated I don't believe you and then you told her you would make the payment tomorrow? I stated, no I explained to her I was going to make a payment by the end of the day, and she said that was fine. Beverly continued to cut me and stated no you are rude, and I stated she has been very unpleasant and so has her assistant. I do not deserve to be treated in such a manner. You promised you would assist me, and I explained to you and her that my matter is time sensitive. I have an appointment with the EEOC and I am actively seeking attorney assistance. You promised you would assist, then you canceled the appointment multiple times and now you are refusing to help because you accused me of being rude when I was treated very unprofessionally by your assistant and now her. She yelled don't call again and hung up on me. I have reported her conduct to the SBA.

For several years I have been trying to get the attention of lawyers but I was passed over and over because of money reasons and they didn't care. According to Mr Ennis justice is for the rich. His statement that your life matters is a lie, and his website is a lie. I wouldn't recommend him for services. Also no one picks up their office phone.

I had visited the law library before and spoken to experienced lawyers who told me what to do and told me I definately needed a lawyer. (I am dealing with an argumentative, abusive ex husband who I still coown realestate with. He was living at the property without paying the mortgage. He has destroyed my credit and since then, before being court ordered to move out, trashed the place, throwing a chair through a very large expensive window and leaving urine on the floor. Among many other things.) After explaining my situation to this young lawyer in a fancy suit, he told me I didn't need an attourney, and, "why can't you just talk to your ex husband? I don't think you need an attourney at this point." I told him I can't talk to him, thats why the marriage didn't work etc. This was incredibly frustrating at a time when I didn't need another frustration.
