    This a person say that.

They say they have a schedule of 7:00 am - 8:00 pm. You arrive at 3:30 pm and they tell you we can't attend you because we're going to close, you would have to come at 8:00am. from Monday to Thursday, we don't have time on Fridays, especially if you come in the afternoon. And on Saturdays they don't attend

So before posting I saw the bad reviews, and read through them, due to there only being 9 of them. I can see and imagine how these would be valid testimonies. However, our family had a pleasant experience, mainly because of our salesperson, Jeff Cole. I had originally contacted him to inquire about their used Odyssey inventory online. There was not anything available at that time, but a dew days later, they had a lease trade in that worked with what we are looking for. From that point on, he worked to help with financing, scheduling, answering questions, holding the vehicle for us, and expediting the certification process and detailing. The dealership itself is not all that great or imoressive. We were spoiled because we had been to the new Sam Pack Ford dealership in Carrollton a few days previous. If you want the top presentation, amenities, and customer service, that's it. Freeman Honda, however, felt like 90s dealership - a bit outdated as far as decor, setup, and we felt like we would be approached by a sleezy salesman as soon as we walked in. Thr finance manager wasn't too pushy at all in upselling me on additional warranty amd coverage, mainly because I cut him off early and told him not to waste his time (politely) and I wouldn't waste his. So he bypassed all the upselling and moved quickly through the rest of the paperwork. The only other thing that wasn't that great is that the interior wasn't as great of condition as we were led to believe. But don't think our salesman did that on putpose. The interior was pretty worn in with a good amount of scratches and dings. The interior wasn't a beige like we wanted or hoped for but again, that wasn't misrepresented. Due to the disappointment of the car not being everything we wanted to the T's, our salesman did his best to get the body shop to address most of the scratches we were upset about and installed all wather mats, in an effort to make up for the negatives. The personalized customer service we received to make us as happy with our purchase as possible will forever be appreciated, because we hope to drive our first minivan into the ground...keep and drive it until it's done. Our kids should grow up to be teenagers in this car, so it was an important purchase. The salesman you work with means all, if not most, of the difference. The finance manager csn derail a good sales experience, but ours didn't.

This is the second time this month we've brought our family van in for service. The first time around David assisted me - he was attentive and very helpful. He ensured that I had a loaner vehicle to get to and back from work. They kept us informed about our vehicle and promptly notified us when the van was ready for pick up. We picked up the van and it was washed. Second time around was for an alignment. Dropped the van off with Mike. He listened to my questions and concerns. Was patient with me while I called my husband on the phone to run some things by him. The guys here take their time and make sure that you are taken care of from start to finish. Great experience so far. Will definitely continue servicing our van here.

If the accident was minor or moderate but fixable the title may not be affected. This will vary state by state, possibly county by county, and insurance company by insurance company. As to the 2014 review I know this company does deal with clean, salvage, and "rebuilt" titles. Perhaps they were trying to mislead, or perhaps they honestly forgot which title applied to the vehicle until the paperwork was being processed. We all have "brain farts". The Accord we bought had been in an accident and was sold by an insurance company via auto auction with a clean title. The CARFAX report does separately indicate an accident report but confirms and supposedly CARFAX guarantees the "clean" title status. The vehicle was repaired and offered for sale. The folks we worked with at OCS motors showed us the "before" photos and we checked over the car carefully. No auto body shop is perfect, no repair job is perfect, and there were a couple minor paint flaws at the edges of the bumper but overall it was a great repair job and we decided the price asked was a very fair price for a repaired vehicle with clean Texas title. The vehicle drove and handled like a brand new car, so we're very happy with the price paid for a good vehicle with some cosmetic blemishes.

My service advisor was George/Jorge and he was very good. He recorded a video of the exterior condition of my car before coming in to set up the appointment. He took the time to look at my service receipt from another dealer to determine what was necessary other than the recall repair. What is nice about this service department is that there is a big bulletin board that lists what is done at each routine service appointment and what it costs. This is something I have not seen elsewhere. When I arrived to pick up my car, George went over the invoice to show me what had been done, noting no charges, and he personally went to get my car. He answered several questions I had which I appreciated. It seems that a lot of the complaints on here have to do with buying cars, a process that can be very frustrating these days. Don't take this frustration out on the service department.

1 Star - No Loaner, No Communication During Active Safety Recall / Buyback Case…read more I brought my vehicle to Kia Southwest after discovering a serious safety recall that made the car unsafe to drive. The dealership took possession of the vehicle and informed me it is now under review for a manufacturer buyback. While the buyback process is underway, the handling of this situation has been completely unacceptable. Despite the severity of the issue, Kia Southwest has: Refused to provide a loaner or rental vehicle Failed to provide consistent communication or updates Offered no clear timeline or expectations I am now left without transportation and without answers, while still dealing with the financial obligations tied to this vehicle. For a manufacturer-authorized dealership handling a safety-related recall and buyback, this lack of support raises concerns regarding basic customer care standards and potential obligations under consumer protection laws, including the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA). At minimum, situations involving unsafe vehicles and manufacturer defects should include: Temporary transportation assistance Clear and timely communication A defined process for resolution None of these have been provided. Due to the lack of responsiveness and support, I am also considering escalating this matter by filing complaints with the Texas Attorney General, the Better Business Bureau, and pursuing further action if necessary. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when relying on this location for assistance with serious recall-related issues.

I purchased a 2022 Honda Odyssey expecting it had been properly repaired and inspected. However, at just 30,000 miles, the transmission completely failed. That is not normal wear and tear and raises serious concerns about the quality of the prior repairs done before the vehicle was sold. At the time of purchase, I was also sold an extended warranty through Endurance Warranty Services, which gave me a sense of security. When the transmission failed, the claim was denied leaving me responsible for a major repair out of pocket. So the reality ended up being: A branded title vehicle with a major mechanical failure, combined with a warranty that did not cover the issue when it mattered most. This has been stressful, time-consuming, and expensive, and it completely changed the value of what I thought I was purchasing. My advice: Do not rely on the warranty alone, and do not assume these vehicles have been repaired to a reliable standard. Get an independent inspection and ask very detailed questions before buying. I regret this purchase and would not buy from here again.

Overall, it was a good experience. ***** 5/5 STARS for Josue ***** My sales person, Josue, was exceptional. He helped make the process better than the prior 3 dealership experiences I've had in Texas and Indiana. Josue drove me in a dealership car to the bank where I procured a cashier's check for my purchase. He waited in the car for about 10-15 minutes while I talked with a loan representative and then a teller, and was patient and upbeat and helpful the whole time. After I had made it back home, I realized I had left some stuff in the glove box of my trade-in vehicle, and I texted him and he removed the items to keep at his desk until I picked up my registration paperwork. For reference, see the John Eagle Honda experience I had in a previous review. This was worlds better than that, but I do have some details to share about the process. In my experience, car dealers tend to be on a spectrum of "honest" on one end to "dubious" on the other. These folks were very high up on the honest end of the spectrum. I'm pretty meticulous about looking at my charges, and in this case, I paid about $1,218.96 more than I wanted to. The MSRP was $44,320, so this is roughly 2.7%, and it's a margin of "fudge" that I'm okay with. (1) FINANCING -- clear, not pushy, but I had to pay in cash. I came in with a $20,000 pre-approved loan from Bank of America, and planned to pay the rest in cash. They wanted a cashier's check from Bank of America rather than the "bank draft" option, which uses a program called "Dealertrack". As you can see from the attached image, the instructions are clear, so the best explanation why they didn't play ball is that they don't have to, because they know that either (a) the buyer will give up and use internal financing through Hyundai, (b) the buyer will walk away and another buyer will step up and play ball, or (c) the buyer will just pay cash and move on--that's what I did, I paid $38,495 in cash (thanks CARES Act). For what it's worth, I was told that cashier's checks are the way they do business, and that lenders like "Navy Fed" do this regularly and convert the amount to an auto loan for the consumer. Fair, but not all buyers have cash or a lender that can write a cashier's check, so you might need to default to internal financing. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, just worth knowing. (2) TRADE-IN VALUE -- A bit low, but I took a $969 loss on my trade-in target. I knew my trade-in value from KBB was between $9,292 & $11,565 with a "cash value" of $10,010 from a KBB affiliate buyer. I had set up an appointment with Texas Cars Direct in case the dealer lowballed me too much. - The dealer's initial offer was $8,170. I said I'd have to walk out if the offer didn't increase. - They increased the offer to $8,500. I pushed back, because I had several cash buyers waiting and used car values rose 10% nationwide from March-April 2021. (Look it up--it's wild. You have more leverage than you think, right now.) - The manager came to speak with me, and he was respectful and mentioned a host of reasons why they couldn't come up on the price, but never said that he didn't agree with the appraisal value I had given of $10K. He mentioned an auction fee of $1,000 which they'd pay (seems high), and low demand for Chrysler 300S (not reflected in the several calls I'd received already from cash buyers). He noted that Texas law allows you to deduct the taxes from a trade-in AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE (and he's right, CA and other states don't allow this). Ultimately, I took the $8,500. With the tax credit of 6.25% on the $8500, it's roughly $969 less than I was expecting and not worth it to me to leave the dealership, drive to another place, make a cash sale, come back with cash, factor in the depreciated cost of the cash sale for a future tax season, and then hope the car was still on the lot to purchase. I could have made a cash sale first and then come with $10,000 -- deducting the depreciated value of the sale on my taxes (but who wants the hassle?) $969 was a worthwhile "hit" in my mind. (3) NO BAIT & SWITCH -- The sale price was the MSRP. (4) MINIMAL UP-CHARGES -- $250.21 total for documents and "vehicle inventory tax" (a) A "vehicle inventory tax" of 0.02% is levied on the dealer by Texas law, and the dealer will sometimes pass this onto the consumer. For me, this amount was $100.21. (b) A "documentary fee" of $150.00. In the fine print, they are required to disclose that this is "not an official fee" and is "not required by law". Look, lots of dealers charge this, $150 is on the low end, so I'm feeling good that he didn't push me on an extended warranty or GAP coverage or other B.S., so I brought it up but let it slide. In sum, the +$1,218 I paid was low enough to move onto other things (like writing Yelp reviews & teaching my undergrad business students how to accept trade-offs).
