Five-Star Service & Honesty!…read more I had an excellent experience at Discount Tire thanks to Senior Assistant Manager Kevin Hunter and his team. I brought in my mother's vehicle after being told one tire was dangerously low on tread. Kevin took the time to show me the tread readings and explain exactly what was needed without any pressure. I decided to purchase three new tires and also requested an alignment. When I returned later that afternoon, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they had checked the alignment and found it was nearly perfect--so they didn't perform an unnecessary service or charge me for one. That level of honesty and integrity really stood out to me. They could have easily charged me, and I would have been none the wiser. I dropped the vehicle off around 1 PM without an appointment, and despite being extremely busy and working in 100+ degree Texas heat, they had everything taken care of by about 4:30 PM. I've used Discount Tire before and have always appreciated their tire warranty and great customer service, but this experience reinforced why I'll continue coming back. Thank you, Kevin and the entire team! You've definitely earned five stars and my continued business.

BE CAREFUL! No accountability for mistakes (PROVEN MISTAKES) and can get very disrespectful…read more The service at this repair shop has really gone downhill. I used to love and rave about this place--I brought three or more cars here to get service. But after my recent experiences, I'll have to find another shop. I've been dealing with the same issue for 2-3 months, yet they kept "finding" other areas to fix instead of addressing the actual problem. The phone representative has been completely disrespectful the last two days. I had my throttle bodies replaced, only to find out later that the wrong parts were installed. After going back and forth with Speedy's, paying for tows and Ubers just to get around, I finally had my car towed to the dealership on June 3rd. The dealership confirmed that Speedy's installed the incorrect part, which ended up costing me around $250. When I called the warranty company, they told me that Speedy's reported having used the correct part. I called Speedy's to follow up on June 6th, and the representative immediately got an attitude, saying, "I can fix the cable to prove a point." I explained that the dealership had already fixed a loose cable but the bigger issue was the incorrect parts. He claimed he had already ordered and received the correct parts and was ready to install them. However, when I called again on Monday, June 9th for an update, I was told they were still waiting on parts. When I brought up his earlier statement, he started yelling at me. I asked him to stop yelling, and he hung up on me. I will not work with a shop that treats the customers like this. I will be following up with legal actions. If I could use my warranty at a different shop, I would--but because of their mistake, I either have to continue dealing with them or pay out of pocket. I'm totally dissatisfied and disappointed in how far this shop has declined.
