Looks like the note worked, as I found out the delivery was made today, which uplifted my friend as she was in the ER on her birthday. A bummer for sure! However the flowers that La Pine put together was so much better than expected and a lot prettier than the photo on the website. It was a gorgeous bouquet and did bring some birthday cheer to a very good friend who had to spend some time in the ER. Not exactly a fun thing to do on a birthday. Thank you so much La Pine Florist. I was so disappointed when I arrived to pick it up. It was much shorter than pictured and not much yellow. The gal that helped me was nice enough and tried adding a couple other items to add some height, but just not what I'd ordered or expected. I had heard such great things about this place. I should have turned and walked out when I placed my order. The store was dark and depressing inside. No lovely flower displayes. No catalog to choose an arrangement from. I finally had to look online to show the gal what I wanted. After comizerating over it, I finally ended up going to Safeway and picked up 2 lovely bouquets (less than $30). I removed the brown roses and added everything from the 2 bouquets. It was now something I won't be embraced to display in honor of my mother.

We had an unforgettable stay at Odell Lake Resort. Bruce and Liz, were kind, relaxed, and…read morewelcoming. The kitchen staff were also friendly and fun, and it truly felt like a full vacation in three days. Friday morning, we reserved a pontoon boat. The lake was glassy and calm until about 11 a.m., and we had a wonderful time swimming and fishing. Later, when the wind picked up and we struggled to dock the pontoon boat, Bruce saw us and immediately came over to help. He was calm and reassuring and helped us dock without any trouble. Friday evening there was live music outside while guests ate, drank and called out song requests, and kite surfers flew across the lake in the background. The homemade chicken corn chowder was especially good. It had the perfect amount of spice, and I honestly could have eaten three bowls. One of the servers suggested that we check out the quiet day-use area behind the resort. It has picnic tables, a picturesque creek, and a nearby hiking trail. We spent time stargazing, sitting by the dock, and playing cards inside at night. At times, it felt like we had the whole lodge to ourselves. The owners, Bruce and Candace Silvey, have created a genuinely welcoming place where it is easy to relax. We had an unforgettable trip and look forward to returning.

They offered to move our campsite away from the noise - reminder no one really wants to hear your music in the outdoors/nature and not at an ear splitting volume at 930p (or anytime of day really). We had a lake front site so the noise from the lake and the afternoon breeze was delightful. 10/10 would recommend and Bruce and Liz easily make it a 12/10!!

Her communication throughout the planning process was unmatched, prices were reasonable and she blew every expectation out of the water. We hired Morgan to provide flowers for 3 different events during our wedding weekend, and each was more gorgeous than the other. My only regret is we weren't able to bring any flowers home to press as we stayed in Bend for a week following the wedding. If I could have preserved them forever I would have. Blomstra is simply the best!

I had to name the dude, he stares at me the entire time I'm in the room, especially with him over the bed. Heated bathroom floor tiles? Check. Amazing craftsmanship? Check. The kitchen here makes you want to drool. The upstairs has two cute beds built into the wall with cabinets separating them and curtains to pull over. I would have loved those as a kid! The living area is great and the couch/chairs are very comfortable for lounging. The mud room is perfect as we definitely came with weathered bottom halves from the days activities. The garage has a dog door going out back into a fenced off kennel run with a ramp and house. A German Shepherd could fit through just fine. The garage is also loaded with bikes, sports balls, games, skis and an extra fridge. There are TVs in every room, which is great if multiple families are staying here, to keep kids entertained if needed, outside of everything else there is to do. To be honest, we all only watched the Super Bowl 49 and then never turned the TVs on again. Oh and the tub upstairs is huge and magical. The only cons I could mention is the retreat being oddly situated off the road, so some road noise is heard from inside, which is funny to hear when looking out onto nature. Lastly, if the hot water is glacial, check the circuit breakers. They tripped on us and we didn't know the cause. Only took a few hours for the tanks to be warmed up. All-in-all ... This place is gorgeous and I would love to stay here again. The cabin is by a large air field so it is secluded a bit from everything but the road noise. (Though I just wondered how often it's used, it's winter so we've only heard one plan so far). The Village is about 5 minutes away and downtown Bend is 30 minutes. Bachelor Ski Area is also 30 minutes from here and a pretty direct route. Thanks for having us!!!

The convenience of the BigFoot Tavern right next door and the Mohawk restaurant across the street made it even better! All the conveniences, at an awesome price. Don't underestimate this place.
