At that time they installed a new Amana system at a fair price. They were very professional, were there when they said they would be and did a great job. The HVAC guy from Danco was rude during the inspection, which was expected, from neighbor feedback. But 20 days after closing, when the air was turned on and did not work, I contacted Dan and he laughed. He reminded me that my check cashed and this was my problem. He did not offer to work with me in any way or offer any feedback besides, things happen and it was not his problem. I would highly recommend against Danco HVAC, as he is only interested cashing a check.

He fixed the problem, patiently waited with me to make sure the problem was fully fixed, and even showed me where to go on Ameren to get discounts on certain things should I need them in the future. Very friendly and professional and got the problem fixed for a very good cost! My issue was in trying to book him. I had done some research and found the problem I was experiencing was likely due to my thermostat. So I messaged them asking if if they were able to fix thermostats and left them my number to text me. I got a text saying that it would need to be replaced, not fixed. I said that was fine and proceeded to ask them to come out. I told them I was available everyday after 3:15 as I am a teacher and can't leave class early to get home and let them in. They said They were open from 2:00 to 5:00 and couldn't promise they wouldn't come at 2:00. This baffled me. I told them I couldn't come home early. Wouldn't you just send your worker to take a long lunch or run errands for the company if you had to wait like that? Seemed very odd and made it feel like whoever was in charge of booking appointments didn't care about my schedule.

All the time the technician doesn't even know how to operate the thermostat!! It's too high tech for them but the product came from them which makes it even more hilarious!!! I called to set up an appointment to have Freon added to my air conditioner I let the gal know I hadn't had them out in four years and she booked me a month out then she called and canceled because other people needed Freon even though I was running low myself on freon. I was cool about it and excepted the second appointment, that was probably my biggest mistake she claim the technician had to come at 7:30 AM because I would be the first appointment of the day on that morning when the technician couldn't find his way to my house they sent him to another appointment and screwed me over completely!! Do business with this company at your own risk as they are completely disorganized and very unprofessional!!

I have used Fritch for almost 25 years as the sole company allowed to touch my furnace and air…read moreconditioning. I also used them as an HVAC contractor for several remodeling projects at work. I have been totally satisfied with the service and installation they have provided. The office, sales, and service staff have always been professional, friendly, and helpful. I appreciated the time taken to right-size a furnace and an air conditioner I purchased from Fritch. I keep an annual contract on all my home HVAC equipment. You might think that it would be expensive, but the contract is the cost of an annual maintenance service call. For that, I get annual maintenance, no cost parts on repairs, and priority service. No brainer! Fritch is the Cadillac of HVAC sales/installation/repair at Chevy prices. Highly recommended (if you couldn't already tell).

Ok, 2.5 units of coolant installed - cost $700 labor and coolant, air worked 1 evening (service completed in afternoon). Company SHOULD refund labor costs - definitely did NOT assist in making an informed decision but rather filling their pockets. Avoid this company unless you want to throw away your money.
