I told him upfront that there was a lot of pet hair and dust. He quoted me $160. Before going in I put about 3 hours into it myself getting all the big areas so that he would focus and spend more time on the details and hard to reach places. I brought the car to his house. He took a look at it and said "it wasn't too bad." I said great and left the car there. The next morning I came to pick it up and they guy tells me "I know I said $160, but I didn't realize how bad it was. It's going to be like $200 instead" Starts telling me about the pet hair between and under the seats. I'm like "I know! I told you about it to begin with!" We start having an argument over the meaning of the word "quote." In this guy's mind a quote is just a ballpark price and he can change the price up on you after the service if he feels like it. After a little back and forth he relents and decides to just charge me the original agreed upon price. But now tensions are high, he's pissed off, I'm pissed off, and he hands me the payment processor asking for a tip. Which I would of if not for what just happened. As uncomfortable as it was, I had to no tip the guy right to his face. I left there feeling like a POS. After I got home I started looking the car over and realized I was actually glad and very justified not tipping the guy because he did not even do a great job. He missed a lot of the "details" I took the car in for in the first place. He did a good job on the big areas and a few of the hard to reach places, but not the attention to detail I was expecting. A lot of creases, corners, vents, and other hard to reach areas still have dust and dirt in them. I'm going to have to spend some time in there with a little brush, cleaner, and some compressed air getting to all the "details" myself. I'll include some photos of what I mean, you can be the judge yourself. In conclusion, if your car is new and pretty clean to begin with, by all means, he's your guy. But if your car is really dirty or needs extra attention in the hard to reach areas, you probably need someone with better tools/skills and a bit more pride in his work. About the only thing I liked about his service is that the car does smells nice after whatever products he used. Other than that, a very stressful experience for me in every way possible. Also on a side note. I felt very uncomfortable having to input my debit card's pin into his payment processor as he's holding the device and watching me do it, like dam man can you at least pretend to look away or something as I'm putting in sensitive information? So use a credit card or cash if you don't want the guy knowing your card's pin... Left there feeling like I need change my card and/or pin.

Since moving to Boise area in 2014 and in the "before days" of covid19 business interruptions we had our SUV detailed annually at a local dealer where they did a great job. But in 2020 that came to a halt and we also put a lot of 'dirt and grime' outside and in miles on the car with frequent trips back and forth to Central Oregon to care for an ill family member between late 2019 and mid 2021. So starting with a vehicle that had not been detailed in over two years, Jordan did a fantastic job and it was so convenient to have this done right in our garage. There are four levels of detailing and a menu of the work done in each can be found at their web site along with pricing for various vehicle sizes.     Damaged my vehicle????…read more I've had an unlimited wash membership for several years. A couple of months ago, I noticed damage to my vehicle that wasn't there when I left the house that day. I noticed the damage after leaving my 2nd stop. My first stop was getting my car washed and I remained in my car as it went through the wash. I heard the usual "clunks, bumps, and other noises" one hears going through the wash. As is usual for me, my next stop involved me parking quite away from a businesses entrance and nowhere near other vehicles. I do this because of several reasons. One, being that I don't want my truck getting damaged by careless drivers/passengers slamming their doors or carts into my vehicle. Upon returning to my truck, I noticed fresh damage, including paint scrapes and a slight, but noticeable vertical denting to the passenger side of the truck. Again, there were NO vehicles near my truck when I parked and climbed out of it, or when I returned to it about 15 minutes later. The length/height of damage was inconsistent with that one would expect from another vehicle, but quite consistent with the vertical rollers used in the car wash. I believe these "dings/dents" were caused by the car wash equipment so I returned to Mister Car Wash and spoke with either the manager or assistant manager. I don't remember which title I was given. The gentleman agreed to review their security footage and get back to me. He never called back. I've since followed up, via phone, with Joe (the manager) inquiring about my damaged paint/body. He said he didn't recall talking with me so it might have been the assistant manager. He said he'd look into things and call me back. Joe did call back a few days later and left a message. I was able to return his call a couple of hours later and asked for him to call me again. I've yet to hear back, and I'm not bothering to leave messages that aren't being returned. Sadly, I'd expect a business to deny any claim if they think they can get away with it. However, if you have footage of a vehicle passing through (tied to my membership ID), it seems like you could easily verify if your equipment damaged my vehicle or not. The fact that I'm only getting "crickets" from them over this issue suggests to me that the review of their security footage does show their equipment damaging my vehicle and they're hoping I'll just "go away" rather than having to repair the damage.

    Hey, well, I was in town, and I needed a good car wash because it was getting dusty and dirty…read moreinside and out. I pulled into Mister Car Wash, and Mike took care of me in such a professional manner. He helped me select the perfect car wash and did it all with a smile, even though the temperature was so hot outside. I thought it would be very expensive, but it wasn't! He even took his time presoaping the front end of my vehicle. Needless to say, coming out the other end of the carwash, my car simply sparkled. Then, I drove into the self-service vacuum area and was able to get up a lot of dirt and dust that I had been neglecting lately. I did notice that the entire area was very clean, from the washing bay through to the vacuum and parking areas, even the landscaping looked nice. I'd say this location is professional and friendly, fast and fun! Spoiler....I'll be back!
