Ordered our wedding cake with them and it came out beautiful. They were able to create our vision and added in the dried floral and topper we ordered through Etsy. We ordered the cake sampler to try out the flavors. You pick it up and take it home. They give you a small piece of each flavor along with a key and rating sheet. They suggest eating the cake at room temp but we felt they had more flavor when cold. We ended up ordering the raspberry preserve with Italian lemon mousse with white cake. We didn't really taste any lemon in our actual wedding cake but it was still really good. If you end up ordering a cake, they take the amount you paid for the samples and apply it to your cake balance. I think that's very creative and thoughtful to offer. We ended up getting a two tier cake with a sheet cake to serve. The staff was very communicative during the process and we appreciate their help to make our dream cake! Freedom Bakery made our cutting cake for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We requested a heart-shaped, 4-layer cake with the Belgian chocolate ganache and chocolate mousse flavor (the Monterey), and it was incredible! We had a family member pick it up (they don't deliver 1-tier cakes) at their Monterey location, and it stayed quite well up until the cake-cutting portion of the evening. My family and I we're staying in town for vacation, not too far away, and we last minute needed a cake to celebrate the vacation we were on. I had yelp a bakery that was closest to where we were staying and then this place showed up. I had called on Thursday early afternoon and a lovely lady by the name of Carolina had answered. I had called in asking for a camping themed cake for pick up for the following day at noon. I had saw a design that they already had done with another cake and I just wanted to add our flare to it. Carolina was super friendly and super professional. She answered everything I asked about from the style, the size, filling and design. She even made a suggestion on one of the style of cakes that they already had done that would go great with the theme that we had. I am super grateful to them that they were able to execute the cake for us in such short notice. I really appreciate that. The fact that they do a quarter sheet cake here. We had pulled in the next day and walked in and it is such a wonderful place with so many fun cookies. We picked some of those up for the kids that we're with us as well as our cake. I sent Freedom Bakery a picture to print on the cake. When asked how I wanted it decorated, I said to let the Decorator decide. I would NEVER have been able to suggest to them the excellent way they decorated the cake. Everyone at work LOVED the design as well as the dream cake. It came out perfectly! I even sent them photos of what I wanted to their email for inspo. They just slapped a photo on top of the cake and did zero decoration and zero gold.
