I never gave much thought about his honesty until I had recently asked him to sell a bracelet of mine. I told him the price I was expecting. It was taking him a long time to sell the piece so I told him I'd prefer to keep it at this point. He informed me he had sold the bracelet and that I would be receiving X amount because he took the liberty to make " repairs " and " add ons " to my bracelet without ever notifying me nor informing me of any cost. He claimed it would make it easier to sell. When I expressed my disappointment with his liberty to charge me an additional cost for so called repairs and fees, he made it seem as if he would give me the amount I had originally asked for. When my husband came to pick up the money from Arash, he only gave him the amount he deemed to be fair and told us that I had misunderstood how much I was supposed to receive.
