Awful shop and customer service.
Purchased a bike online, arrived with a buckled front wheel, when it was fixed they returned it to the wrong address. First time out cycling and the gears were grinding and mis-aligned, couldn't switch gear at all. Funnily enough at point of sale they assured me everything would be set up and ready to go. Fixed the gears at a local shop but then Freeborn refused to reimburse me as I had no proof the gears were dodgy. In their opinion the shop where I had them fixed took advantage of me and weren't happy because I didn't buy from them in the first place (WTF???).
Simple questions over the phone were met with short sharp rude answers. Treated like a liar, treated like an annoyance.
Freeborn.....they like the smell of your money but not the sound of your voice when there's a problem. The problem is yours, not theirs. Wonderful way to run a business. read more
