Just want to give a shout-out to this wonderful store and Sharon who works there. I've stopped in a…read morecouple of times on Colorado road trips and there are some real treasures that make the store a great place to browse. On my most recent visit, I bought a painting and needed it shipped to Seattle. Sharon took down my info and said she'd make the arrangements with a local shipping company. When she investigated, she felt the price was too high so she created your own packaging and took my purchase to a spot in Denver (the next time she headed there), arranging for it to be shipped at one-third the original quote. So above and beyond! What's more, when I called to make the final payment arrangements, I immediately recognized Sharon's friendly voice from when I was in the store. It's because of Sharon that my partner commented, then and now, "I love Coloradans!" Yes, she's excellent PR for the entire state. Worth a visit. It's going to be a regular stop for me whenever I'm passing through.

Decided on one pair because the other was much less expensive to buy at another store. Got to checkout and she declined the 15% off because I wasn't buying both pair. Her attitude was disrespectful and very rude. She wasn't clear on needing to buy both for a discount. Her demeanor instantly changed and noted she would sell them regardless so I told her to just keep them. The attitude was uncalled for, it was a great experience until then. Over all, small Mountain boutique that is over priced and judgmental. Only giving two stars because of the cute inventory

This is a great thrift store. My only issue is a pretty significant change they made to their…read morebuying/selling process. They quit returning the clothes they wouldn't sell. I sell a lot of name brand clothing, stuff like Patagonia/free people/north face. I also have two other places I sell to so I would take the items Julie's Cubbie didn't want and either sell them there or on eBay. I've been selling at this place (FKA free the monkey) for nearly ten years. After they made this change in their buying policy I quit selling here which was a bummer. I really like the establishment and the folks who run it. But I won't miss out on money I can easily get for my items because somehow it makes the process too difficult to return what they don't want to buy.

A simple pricing discrepancy question was met with a hostile, dismissive attitude. She abruptly took the item away and cut off a polite follow-up question, making it clear that treating customers respectfully was not a priority. The interaction was shocking and completely unnecessary. We left without browsing further and have no interest in returning. Management should take a serious look at how customers are treated.
