Def a mountain priced kinda place. Wood floors, lots of bright light pouring in. Expensive clothing. Some sales racks near the rear. Cute vintage gifts for sale. Or at least made to look vintage. Oven mittens & towels. Cute spot to peek in. read more

The items in the store were very cute. Expensive. I asked to price match from the website since it was much cheaper for two pair of jeans. She told me no but would give me 15%off. Decided on one pair because the other was much less expensive to buy at another store. Got to checkout and she declined the 15% off because I wasn't buying both pair. Her attitude was disrespectful and very rude. She wasn't clear on needing to buy both for a discount. Her demeanor instantly changed and noted she would sell them regardless so I told her to just keep them. The attitude was uncalled for, it was a great experience until then. Over all, small Mountain boutique that is over priced and judgmental. Only giving two stars because of the cute inventory read more

Nice store with cute things. Good selection of gifts and clothing. I always come here when I'm in Salida.

With little to choose from in a small town Yolo has been able to capture the young and not so young and appeal to both. Owner seems to understand that mountain women want to also look nice!My only critique would Be that there isn't much turnover in inventory which is difficult For a small Business but having sales to rotate inventory would Be paid back in increased sales. read more

Fun stuff but overpriced in my opinion. So, I bought from tiny sale rack and still felt a little gipped. Minus one star for prices. Staff not particularly friendly or helpful. I helped myself. read more

As a plus size customer, it's not uncommon to be treated without respect at a retailer or store. Nonetheless, it always stings a little. It was very quickly apparent to me that I wasn't as welcome as others in this store, as I wasn't even greeted by the various employees when I walked in and perused the store. Such a bummer, cause I'd love to support a small business like this. read more

Unique clothing boutique. Friendly staff. They have a nice selection of clothing and accessories and the staff is really friendly When I was there the city was tearing up the streets so you had to go through a bit of a maze to get to them but it is well worth it. Funky fun fashion for the individualist read more

Yolo - Men's Clothing Near Me - Salida, Colorado

This is one of my favorite stores in all of Colorado. Great prices and one of a kind gifts. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

This is a nice little clothing boutique in downtown Salida. I went in with my wife on her second trip to the store in the same day because she was in love with a jacket and wanted me to see it and convince herself that she needed to own it. The vibe in this store is so laid back and you can tell the people working, who I assume are the owners, are having a great time. They remembered my wife when we walked in and asked, "Are you back for the jacket?" with a smile on their faces. The space is large and nicely decorated with vintage-type items and art work. I saw an old Schwinn Stingray with ape hangers up on a shelf and that certainly made me smile. They have both men and women's clothing, although much more women's. And there's a place near the back that has a lot of cool knick-knacks, jewelry, home decor items, and sunglasses. It's definitely a cool store and I'm sure we'll stop back in when we return to Salida. read more

Let me preface this review with the fact that I loved Yolo. I've been a returning customer since I first found this store and usually had great experiences. However, I purchased a pair of pants for vacation and never ended up wearing them, tags still attached and receipt in hand I went to *exchange* them less than two months later and I was planning on spending more money than the return was worth so it would've been a profit for them. I was met with instant hostility from the owner herself, I'm talking to the point where I literally went and cried in my car from disbelief of what the heck just transpired. The return policy is stated very clearly on the receipt. The owner spent ten minutes trying to argue the policy and eventually agreed to store credit. I said fine I'll gift it to someone because I will never shop here again. The only thing the owner did right was to cut me a check for the return amount so I wouldn't have to bother them again, greatly appreciated. I'm beyond confused. In such a small town community is everything and your customers are your business. I loved this store and always support small businesses but I will never step foot in Yolo again. By far one of the worst retail experiences I've ever had, coming from someone who's been in the business for over 15 years and understands customer service, this was not it. read more

This is a definitely a cute little boutique in this quiet mountain town. My grandparents have lived in Salida for 30-some years, but this was my first time to hit the shops on F Street. (No one in my family likes to shop, and being either too young to drive or carless when I visited Salida, I never made it over there.) YOLO had some reasonable clothes at fairly reasonable prices, but I was gift-shopping. I found some cute earrings for a friend and baby leg warmers for my niece. There were some lovely scarves, as well, but I need to pare down my collection, not add to it.. The decor was a little funky, but not in an obnoxious/distracting way - things like having merchandise inside (opened) vintage suitcases. Service was fine - I was asked if I needed help, and left alone when I declined. I hate hovering salespeople (especially in boutiques) so I appreciated the peace and quiet while I browsed. Definitely a nice place to pop into and browse around. P.S. Thanks to Yelpers who reviewed this place before me, and steered me here. read more

A clothing store for men and women. Right, he wrote ironically. The Men's Section occupies about 3.62% of the store. $100 blue jeans and some socks (with marijuana leaves). The Women's Section occupies 94.38% of the store. They have Wi-Fi and comfortable Husbands' Chairs. My lovely wife bought some clothing from a friendly and helpful owner and assistant. read more

I have a good friend who owns a place in Buena Vista. I often compliment her on a super-cute item of clothing she's wearing that definitely doesn't come from one of the local chains. Her reply is always, "I got this at Yolo - my favorite boutique in Salida." Finally I made it to Salida (I've not been there since I was a kid) and was thrilled to check out Yolo. Everything that my friend told me at Yolo was confirmed - great, fashionable yet comfortable clothes, very reasonably priced, friendly laid-back service. I walked out with a large bag of goodies. Not exactly worth a special trip from Denver, but I'll definitely go back when I'm in the area. read more

I cannot endorse a retailer who's management is rude, disrespectful, and unempathetic of others and their health requirements. My teen age daughters were the first to receive this treatment and then myself. I have given this business my time and especially money for many years, today was the last visit. Life is too short to give to others who only take and try to control. read more

The product they had was cute and wish I could have looked longer than 2 minutes before being rushed out due to them picking and choosing who they want to shop there since there was limit capacity for COVID. They very obviously wanted my sisters business who was waiting outside more than mine, ironically I took her business away from them. They didn't know she was my sister. VERY snooty. read more

I did not inherit my mother's Olympic caliber shopping gene however, when i do want to shop for some new clothes i am immensely thankful to have Yolo's right here in Salida. Owner Loni Walton has brought a sense of style to Salida that keeps locals coming back for more and tourists delighted at the selection of hip & trendy yet affordable women's and men's clothes and accessoires read more

I love this store. My family has a cabin in the Salida area so I've been lucky enough to be coming to Salida for many years, but it is even more fun to go now that there is this great store to visit. This store could easily be super successful in Denver so don't overlook it just because it's in a small town. The buyers there have a great eye for picking out unique clothing, jewelry and home accessories. I've found some of my favorite items of clothing in this store. I'm looking forward to my next visit to Yolo! read more

Best, most up to date clothing store I have frequented! When I visit my folks in Salida, stopping by Yolo is an absolute MUST. I live in Southern, CA. and can't find a store that comes close to this one; I actually wait to shop for clothes until I get to Salida! Everyone gets special treatment from Loni the owner and the other women who work for her! read more

I am so happy that their is such a hip store in the area. Yolo does a great job picking stylish, affordable clothes and accessories. I just left with a whole season's worth of clothing. I have brought two girlfriends here who have also scored bigtime. Yolo has clothes for a big span of agegroups: teenage through golden years :) (I'm 32) read more

YOLO's is a super cute boutique with a wide variety of clothing and accessories for all ages. The owners and staff are friendly, caring and helpful. The clothes follow current trends yet the styles are unique. I love shopping here! read more

Great merchandise, but the service could have been better. This store is full of nice, stylish clothes and accessories. I was very pleased to see a line of knit sweaters and accessories that, according to the tags was mostly hand knit. It has a very nice, open floorplan and a clean aesthetic. The person working was on the phone most of the time I was in there. I tried to wait to check out until she was off the phone--but when I couldn't wait any longer, she checked me out without missing a beat in her phone conversation. read more

Every time I come to Salida I love looking at all the young, hip clothing. They have the cutest things, although I could get similar looking styles for much less at Forever 21 in Texas. I am a huge fan of their scarfs although Ives never bought anything just because it's a very high price range for such clothing. Nice look inside too! read more

Low quality gear. Bought a sweater there that already has holes after a month. Also does not foster a true local business community. Belongs in aspen not salida. read more

I make it a rule not to buy anything in a store where no one who works there acknowledges me. Too bad, because the inventory at this place is great and reasonably priced, and I loved a lot of the merchandise. Maybe some other visit. read more

Great selection of women's clothing and accessories and their selection of gifts is great, too! The best part of Yolo, though, are the wonderful staff. I come in just to chat-- they are so friendly and helpful! Awesome local business with beautiful and affordable clothes. read more

Everytime I go to Colorado to visit my daughter, I insist we go to Salida to shop at Yolo. I love their unique clothing and their beautiful jewelry. Love everything about this store and the Customer Service is excellent! read more

While the clothing selection is excellent, as is the cute design of the store, the staff are horrible. They aren't helpful at all and are even rude and irritated that you come in the store and that they may have to stop their personal conversations to help you out. Really disappointing, because the selection of clothing is great, but due to such rude service, I won't be back. read more

Good service. Laid back. A great variety of clothing and gifts. Also good price range- colorful tank tops for only $13 and scarves for under $20, but there are also higher end linens and knit clothing. A big store with lots to offer, fun to look around and see all the cool things they have! read more

I vacation in the area and have been going to this store for a few years now. Yes, the merchandise is fun and affordable and I always find domething I like for either myself or my daughters. Yes, we can all find things in this store we like. I usually come up to Colorado to lay back and do plenty of nothing, but a trip to YOLO is usually on my list of reasons to put on makeup and go somewhere. read more
