When I worked there, my hair was super busted, and the stylists cut and color corrected my hair for no charge, which was so incredibly sweet. They are truly committed to their clients, treat their employees with respect, and maintain a very clean and sanitary environment. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! If I ever move back home, I'll definitely be applying to work there again.

Really bad bizarre experience. Based on good reviews I tried Sal at Hair Designers for a blowout…read moreand color consult, result was OK so booked a single process touch up w/blowout for the following week. Sal told me to bring a picture in to clarify what I wanted which I did. First he applied color to a small portion of my hair, then disappeared into the back for quite awhile to get more color. Why not have enough color on hand to do the whole job since he saw my hair twice before? Anyone knows that it's best to have color applied at once to ensure even results. After the blowout I was surprised to see that my color was very dark brown (not what we talked about and nothing like the pic he insisted I bring in) but decided to accept that. However when I got home I noticed that I now had noticeably lighter/reddish patchy spots and roots as compared with the rest of my hair - hot roots! Roots were NOT touched up or blended properly which was the service I came in for, in fact they looked worse than when I went into the salon. I immediately told Sal about the light patchy roots and sent him a picture (see below). At first he didn't admit his error or offer to fix it, instead gave me major defensive attitude. Then said I could come back next week if I wanted to but that he'd "have to go waaay darker and use a different product that's kind of translucent and won't be matte like you're used to! And blowout will be $30 extra." Huh? I had already paid him $120 (cash only!) for this debacle. He should have offered to see me right away to fix this or at least called me, instead TEXTED ME MULTIPLE TIMES WITH THREATS AND PERSONAL INSULTS.Unstable, unskilled. Stay away!
