But this time, a reminder app on my new iPhone told me check out a great deal I shouldn't miss at Kohls.com. So, I rushed over to the nearest Kohl's store. I couldn't believe it was so easy to get here on Highway 6. This is the 4th Kohl's store I've been in Houston. The parking lot is a lot bigger than other locations. I think it was because Palais Royal left the mall. Everything was so neat at this Kohl's store. Store has a logical layout and I didn't have trouble locating men's department. The clearance area was huge with everything in one place. I didn't have to guess the prices because they were clearly labeled. I bought what I wanted, of course, it was on sale. I was short to earn another $5 Kohl's cash after calculating the price with a cashier. She let me go back to get more stuff while holding my purchase. She was so efficient and I didn't get her name because they don't put cashier's name on the receipt anymore. I spent about 2 hours shopping and lost track of time. I think I may have skipped my lunch. Since I was in Missouri City, I decided to get something to eat before heading back to Houston.

this store not for people of color or something ?…read more I had a very disappointing experience at this location. Upon entering the store, I was not greeted by any employees, which I initially did not consider a major issue. However, as I browsed the merchandise and selected items to try on, I noticed an employee following me throughout the store. When I turned around and asked whether she needed something, she walked away without acknowledging my question. The experience became even more frustrating when I waited for a fitting room with clothing in my hands. While I was waiting, another customer approached and deliberately coughed in my direction before walking away. What made the situation worse was that this customer was subsequently given a fitting room even tho she was behind me ? while I continued to be overlooked, despite already waiting with my items. I was eventually assisted by a Hispanic employee, who helped me after I had been left waiting. Given the circumstances, I could not help but question whether my treatment was influenced by my ethnicity. I understand that employees can become busy, and I do not expect special treatment; I expect the same basic courtesy, respect, and consideration afforded to every other customer. I have visited the Memorial location and had a positive experience there, which makes this visit particularly disappointing. Management should take a closer look at the customer service at the Sugar Land location and ensure that all customers are treated fairly and respectfully. I would not feel comfortable recommending this location based on my experience.

I was quoted 20 minutes on the wait time but it ended up being over 30 minutes, which is fine except another buyer came in after me and their buy was completed before mine. I only sold one item for $8, which doesn't make any sense because I have name brand items and they are in better and cleaner condition compared to what's in store. Like I said, I probably will not do any selling or buying anytime soon because the integrity and value of this place has really gone down in the last year and a half or so. One of the items I saw on the floor today was a Lululemon workout top for $28 and the biggest problem was that it had a giant stain on it. Granted, you should wash any items you thrift, but it shouldn't be sold on the floor in a dirty condition and for $28. Crazy! Save your time, money, and/or items to sell and go elsewhere unless/until this store location shapes up again and realizes true value and integrity for its items and what's sold in store.

I was so pleased to see it was open, I knew it was set to open this summer. I love the bright interior. The store is well laid out with very friendly and helpful staff. They carry misses and petite sizes in the store but if you want women's sizes (1X - 4X), they can order it for you and you get free shipping. Today when I went in, I was helped by the store manager, Kismari. She is very knowledgeable and knows her products. She acted as my personal shopper as we wandered around the store picking out items. She really listened to what I wanted and was able to pick items that suit my tastes. I've shopped online with J Jill for many years and know the fabrics and love the clothes, but to have that extra touch of having someone walk the store with me was great. Kismari sat down and checked on size and color for all my items that needed to be ordered since women's sizes are all ordered and then delivered to your house. She also explained all the promotions to me so I could save as much as possible. She took the time to find out that I'm a teacher which means discount! Teachers receive an extra 15% off of all regularly priced items. She also told me about opening a credit card with J Jill. I really really didn't want to open a credit card, but as a frequent J Jill shopper, the perks just couldn't be ignored! I'm so excited about all my items coming in the mail. I'm also excited that I can return anything that doesn't work for me to the store. The store is so easy to get to. I parked within 10 feet of the entrance and walked right in. I love that it is located in the outdoor mall area because I don't have to go into the actual mall. If you love comfortable casual women's clothing, this is a great place to shop and say hello to Kismari for me!

I wasn't familiar with the J Jill brand so I looked around to see if anything caught my eye. While the styles are not exactly me, I did see a couple of items I liked so I inquired about tall lengths. I was informed that they do not carry tall length in store or other. The sales lady also informed me that sizing is generous for this brand and the size small may be a little roomy on me as well as short. I appreciated her giving me this truthful information rather than just trying to make a sale. The clothing I looked at was quality clothing and pricing was reasonable. The kind attitude and helpfulness of the sales lady as well as the store itself deserve an A-OK. I'd be willing to come back again and browse. It's possible they could start stocking tall lengths and adjust sizing in the future and I could find something.

You won't find designer clothing here or anything fancy. It's basic apparel with a touch of what's "in now." What I like here are the basics like tank tops and hoodies for around the house. The jeans are comfy and great everyday wear. The only problem I encountered, as usual in most chain clothing stores, was finding a length that was long enough. The employees were very friendly. I was told they do not carry long length pants in store but that all I needed to do was to take the style of jeans that I like to the register and they could place an order for long length. It was easy and my order arrived in less than a week. The store is laid out well and organized. The customer service was helpful and not pushy. Some of the clothes are more suitable for teens but there are many styles that can work for anyone depending on build and what your looking for in casual clothing. The prices are reasonable and inexpensive. Cute, comfy casual clothes and good customer service makes this store worth a look.
