Wide variety of music and more. This last time, I picked up a CD of traditional Newfoundland songs, as well as an amazing documentary audio CD on Newfoundland history. Their locally top-selling display has a wonderful mix of CDs... when I was there this summer, it included Amelia Curran, Sean McCann, and many more. Part of a dying breed of independently owned, local record (CD) stores. Don't let places like this fade away. :)

Staff so helpful! Love the music I bought. Have just a tiny sampling of NL on the west coast.

Very friendly and helpful staff! They have always been great and never mind helping you find something or recommending a new artist.

My only regret was not being around for any live music or appearances by local talent.

The review below me is quite laughable, honestly…read more I have been going to Game Exchange since I was a little girl. No joke. They were called "Microplay" back then and I was obsessed. The games that they sell here are quite reasonable in price, and you don't have to pay for shipping. They also test whatever second hand product you are buying, right in front of you, so you know what you are getting. I've bought games & consoles, second hand online, only to get them and they don't work. Good luck getting your money back. It's going to take your over a year, and it's not even worth it at that point. The general public, like the other reviewer seen below, seem to also think that games are not valuable. He probably went in looking for a copy of Mario Party for N64, seen the price, and thought they were out to lunch. Meanwhile, on Kijiji, Ebay & Amazon, they are all expensive, unless it's defective, which will usually be specified in the add. The staff at Game Exchange are wonderful! Very knowledgeable, and probably know more about games than our fellow reviewer, as I'm sure I do as well. You should always support local when you can & Game Exchange is local. While I do enjoy shopping at EB, I will always check out Game Exchange while in the area, and will always continue to support them.

Do not go to this store! The games they sell here are overpriced and can be picked up on eBay or…read moreAmazon for a half the price. I understand the amount they give you for used games, it's only a couple of dollars (this is the same across all game stores). The staff are not all that knowledgeable in games. I've inquired about many games and just engaged in random gamer conversation with some of the employees and they had no idea what I was talking about and my friends have reported the same. They are also moody, some days they are ok to talk to but most days they are stuck up and rude, it seems like they do not care about the customers. They have also been caught releasing games early and not abiding by the rules game producers and developers have set. If you can go anywhere else, do it! I always go to EB Games now because the staff are very friendly and know just about everything about gaming, if one of the employees do not know something, another one will. As for used games like NES, SNES, SEGA, etc, go to eBay.
