I (used to) love going to Timemasters about every month. I don't read a ton of graphic novels but I really enjoy them and really look forward to going to the store for a new book when the time comes... until today. Today, I walked in the store just after 10am and headed straight for the Batman section knowing what I wanted to buy. As I walked towards the shelf, a clerk carrying a cardbord cut-out figure was also walking by and I immediately tried to step in close to the book shelf so he could pass by me. Not saying anything else, he loudly snapped at me "keep going!". His tone caught me off guard but I still thought he was intending to let me pass, and feeling like I was out of his way, I responded saying "I was headed here". This took all of one second or two. No big deal right. In any case, he then proceeded to explode and kick in the door to some storage space in clear frustration and throw the cut-out inside, and immediately stormed past fuming at me. I was shocked that he could be that offended by my actions or what I said. Even if I was still in his precious way, I had tried to step out his way. My head was spinning and I didn't care for an altercation this morning so I decided to leave without buying the book I had come for. Now, this is the part that really gets me, as I'm leaving the store he says to his coworker something along the lines of "that f'n guy just decided to get in my way when he saw me coming with an ARM LOAD."... Dude, get over yourself or whatever crawled up your ass and ruined your morning! Your freaking "arm load" was a piece of cardboard and I obviously did not drive out to your inconvenient store this morning just to get in the way of your storage room. Hope you're having fun hiding behind your superheroes complaining about your own friggin' customers! You just lost this one. You got one thing right today, I'm gonna "keep going" to the other comic book store in town. I've never had a customer experience as bad as this one. That guy must be a real expert on comics because he's literally the worst sales person I have ever come across. This is great store which makes it even more sad that such a negative asshole prone to KICKING in the storage room doors when customers don't leap out of the way of you and your massive load carrying arms. I can only assume you own the business because there's no way any successful business owner would employ the likes of you. I'm done with you guys. read more
