We purchased a brand new RV from Johnson RV in July 2025, and the most significant issues have been…read morehow our unit was handled while in their possession for warranty service. What should have remained a new RV has instead become a materially compromised unit due to negligent handling and repeated service-related issues while at their facility. Problems began during the walkthrough due to improper handling. Since then, the RV has repeatedly been in and out of service for warranty issues including the door, plumbing, wall panels, and electrical components. A pattern developed where repairs were marked complete when they were not, and additional damage occurred while the RV was being serviced, including flooring and siding damage. This negligent handling of our new unit has negatively affected the value, condition, reliability, and safety of the RV. In one instance, damage was attributed to us until before-and-after video evidence showed it occurred while the RV was in their possession. The RV has also been stored outdoors for months due to ongoing repairs as a result of their negligent care of the new RV, enduring heavy storms while awaiting service, despite us having purchased covered storage to protect our new RV. The RV has been out of our possession for over 40% of the time since purchase, resulting in canceled trips and significant loss of use. Due to repeated service-related damage and incomplete repairs, it no longer reflects the new unit we purchased. We are still awaiting a response from Johnson RV for a fair resolution. We do not recommend this company based on our experience.

We recently purchased our first travel trailer (a used Rpod) from the Sandy Funtime RV location…read more We're happy with the trailer but our purchasing experience could have been better. We bought it from out of state without seeing it, so all the paperwork was done by email/mail. Communication was lacking on the back end, after we had agreed on a price. The paperwork came from Haugen RV, which was odd; no one told me it would come from someone other than Funtime. They also sent all the paperwork to the incorrect address, despite my written instructions with correct address, which took a week or so to figure out. They required that we send full payment based on a one page purchase order with no details as to their obligations to inspect, clean, etc. and before providing any report from the "pre-delivery inspection." They said this was standard procedure, but I thought it seemed strange. I would prefer to know if something turned up on the inspection and to know what each party is agreeing to before sending full payment. More troubling was the filthy condition in which the trailer was delivered to us. The salesperson at Funtime stated by text: "Its in very good shape needs a detail which we will do and a pre delivery inspection." The Haugen general manager who handled the purchase paperwork also confirmed it would be cleaned before shipping. However, it arrived with dirt on the floor and in the drawers/cabinets and smudges and cobwebs on the walls. The bathroom was particularly dirty (see photos). The exterior was also in need of a good scrubbing as the trailer had been stored outside. I emailed the manager to let her know we were disappointed that it was not detailed as promised before delivery (or at least given a basic cleaning!!) and did not receive a response. Spending a weekend cleaning out the previous owner's grime wasn't supposed to be part of the deal. It certainly left us with a bad impression of this dealership.

I refused to pay for added insurance and finance person Vicki lost it. Tore up the finance paperwork and got angry. Sorry you had to retype some papers but pressure sales of insurance sucks and I saved thousands. Don't buy insurance save your money for Amazon. But I can get a cushion replacement if I buy $1200 in ceramic wax job. I bought a better mattress on Amazon for $200 and a bottle of wax for $20. I am $1000 ahead on that alone. The trailer was poorly prepared. Solar not hooked up. Lug nuts not torqued. Sunset 139T. One lug took a full rotation the rest where at about 46 ftlbs. Buy a torque wrench and check your wheels. Not Funtime but terrible electrical work on this rig. Loose live wires. The leaf spring shackle bolt was not tightened. Could have died coming down Santiam Pass. I do like the 139T toy hauler but having to go through a new rv and make it safe sucks. There is a yellow wire on the same screw as the battery before the fuse just hanging out. The reverse wire from pigtail was cut in the household metal junction box, not capped. The fuse from the battery is loose in a metal box exposed terminals that can short out. I got lucky and the axle did not fall off. I found the spring shackle bolts where loose when installing SumoSprings. I have photos and videos. The last photo is at the dealer with a tangle of wires hanging down. That should have stopped me. When they prep it they mean cut the shrink wrap off the cushions. Washington people don't pay tax twice for one sale $1742.27 on $20259 rv plus Wa. Sales tax. I wish had would have noticed. I took my papers to Wa DOL and the wrong amount was withheld for Wa tax. $1782.59 So no plate and when they receive the wrong amount Wa DOL will send it back. Trip permits added cost. First I did order the rebuild kit but just couldn't get the unit out from where Winnebago buried her. The expected 2 hour R&R took an extra 5 hours bc of some baffling wiring problem between the fuse box and the unit. Ordinarily I'd prob be upset but being able to comfortably watch the whole thing through a picture window into the workshop from their high quality recliner massage chair made it enjoyable. It was clear someone was actually working non-stop to get the fix. Mechanic James was diligent but still needed the experienced assist of both owner Jim and his son Mike crawling under to help figure out just what was needed. While in the waiting lounge, Jim stopped by with fresh donuts for my wife and me, the only occupants. How many CEO's provide that personalized level of thoughtfulness? Also received cheerful and helpful scheduling from receptionist Sandy. On top of all that, Jim held to the original price quote he emailed me 6 months ago (April 2025)!! Would not have objected to any reasonable adjustment for all the extra time and some parts too. Sincerely appreciate all this team did. This whole op restored my faith in humans after living under the insanity of a certain politician.

Not only did she try to help the best she could but she also called another team member that could answer some of the questions we had. Although we are still determining whether to get a trailer and which trailer to get I would highly recommend them for their great customer service. If they are this good when looking I can only imagine what it would be like to do business with them. for the help and if we decide to get the Xventure V3 we will definitely be back to 99 West Trailers.

We came from Redding CA, a six hour drive for us to Salem to buy a trailer that was advertised as…read more"like new", "immaculate" and when we got there, not only was the trailer not clean: shower and sinks dirty, pee (yes, pee) in the toilet, nothing had been cleaned, but there was wear to the upholstered dinette area seating and the back of the seat was so sun damaged, that it was cracked severely! The stove burners showed moderate use and cupboards still had stuff in them. This trailer had received zero attention from this seller on this inside! I was expecting the condition would be as advertised, as this is the picture he painted. Either he openly lied about the condition, or he did not know the actual condition. Either way, it was way beyond disappointing, and I was fuming! I tried my best to be professional and just tell him what I saw without spewing, and he did drop the price for us, but this did not make me see him as a reputable seller. You cannot change first impressions, and ours was and still is, not good. Would not buy from him again or recommend him.
