I removed my carpet, tile flooring in the kitchen, demo this floating wall separating my living room for more of an open concept and I tried painting my cabinets myself and failed miserably 3 times. I realized there is a lot of prep work and details that needed to be done and I couldn't do this alone, so the search began. I tried calling almost everyone on yelp but my appointments either rescheduled , no show, or I felt ripped off. My house was a complete mess and I felt like giving up because at this rate I probably won't finish my house till next year! I actually found Shacy on Craigslist, made an appointment and he actually showed up! He quoted me for my cabinets but I actually hired him to paint my whole interior of my house also because of the fair pricing he quoted me. He is very meticulous, helpful, and ended up getting way too many samples (thank you Gus!) when I started feeling unsure of my main base color. I ended up with a color I love and he ended up doing my neighbor's house as well because she appreciated his work. The same two man crew was here for three days and Mickey came by everyday to check progress and make sure we were happy with the job. They did all the prep work and the end result was amazing! The painted cabinets make it look like it was a full remodel. They look brand new. On a side note, I work from home and have two kids that are in school. I felt completely comfortable with the painters in the house all day. They were fairly quiet while I was on calls and very accommodating while I fed my kids breakfast and after school snacks. As you can see from the photos we have a fairly small kitchen and our house isn't large so we were in close proximity at all times. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome.
