We had a great experience with J R Painting from start to finish. Getting a quote was easy, they were very easy to work with, and their price was very reasonable. They did an excellent job painting the exterior of our house and completed the entire project in just one week. They were professional, worked efficiently, and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. We are very happy with the results and would definitely recommend J R Painting to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price! read more

Jose has been here doing so many things for us! First we had rotten siding, trim and facia replaced and Jose was able to behere painting it in no time! Beautiful! Then we asked him to do the following: shed in backyard (also needed trim replaced due to water rot), main bathroom, trim on house, hallway and laundry room and back door! All of these were last minute and he came to our rescue! Next he's painting our crown molding and staining our gates and bench! Jose is and has always been the best painter we have had in the 30 years we've owned our house! We love having him here. Jose is prompt, professional and an expert at his craft. read more

Oh my gosh!!! You all need to use JR Painting!!! Jose did a fantastic job in our house. From start to finish.....pure perfection. Before I retired I worked with vendors and had them bid for jobs for work at various sites so I knew what I was looking for. Jose was here when he said he would be, sent me the best bid the same afternoon we saw him. He took notes and did exactly what we wanted. You all will not be disappointed with Jose. There's a reason why he's gotten so many 5 star reviews. I would give him 10++++ if I could. read more

Jose did an excellent job painting the interior of our home. He and Pablo arrived punctually each day. They kept the work area tidy. He patched areas damaged and remembered all the concerns I had during our initial meeting. The work was very professional and even though I had received a comparable quote from a highly reputable company, Jose had done the exterior painting of our home a few years before. I decided to go with someone I knew would be professional and provide quality work. I'm glad I did! read more

Wasted too much of my time. This man came to my house to give me an estimate on Wednesday. Stated that an estimate would be provided Thursday or Friday. Reached out on Friday for the estimate and was told sorry service area to far. Don't you have gps and why didn't you just state this when you were at the house? Thanks for nothing . read more

We ended up not LOVING our bathroom color that we chose and he even made a point to offer to come out and repaint it on a week he was as available without us even asking. Really made sure we were happy with the work & we absolutely are. Very professional, Very NEAT, Very clean and PROMPT. Thank you Jose, for your care for your customers. read more

I reached out to Jose about painting our new garage and he went above and beyond expectations. Arrived promptly on time (actually arrived before and waited in their truck until the agreed upon time), was patient and understanding while I decided on paint color (and changed my mind twice!), and was extremely polite, humble, and courteous the whole time day of painting. I could go on, but the results in the photos speak for themselves. read more

Professionalism quality experience and good job friendly Jose is honestly good person to work on all home projects

We hired JR Painting for external house painting on June 10, 2023. The whole process from start to finish was excellent. After reading his many great reviews we contacted Jose. He responded within an hour and gave a very reasonable bid for painting a 4000sq foot 2 story house. He was able to start promptly and finished on his estimated time. He did a super job and even several of our neighbors complemented the work. Jose impressed us with his professionalism. We highly recommend JR Painting. read more

Every great review on here is right! We have the date set for them to paint the exterior of our home and are so excited! Jose has been thorough, knowledgeable, respectful, and so patient and helpful with information and sharing his knowledge and experience as we make decisions. They have been fast and thorough in responding to questions and really have gone above and beyond to bring a paint deck by and take the time again to really look at things and give advice. We did get other quotes, some of which were ridiculously high, but JR Painting was very reasonable compared to others and included all of the same prep work, paint, and steps to make sure the work will be high quality. The reviews here on Yelp about how wonderful JR Painting is to work with as well as the quality of work is really what drew us to look into hiring them. I am thrilled that we did! I am confident the work will be great and will update this with photos when it is complete. Do not hesitate to have them do your painting projects! read more

Jose and his crew are very professional and did an excellent job of painting the exterior of our home. Jose was very quick to return our initial quote(same day). He kept in close contact throughout the week and informed us of any pending weather that could effect schedules. He also did a great job of repairing some spots on the facia board that had dry rot. I would highly recommend JR painting to any and all who ask of a good painter. read more

I contacted JR Painting to paint the inside of my house. He came the next day to give an estimate and I received the written estimate via e-mail. His estimate was appropriate for the work needing to be done. I agreed and let him know of the dates to have the painting done and completed. Any questions I had prior to the work were answered timely. On the day of the work, Jose arrived on time and was ready to work. He was very professional yet available to answer questions. We had originally scheduled for 3 days to complete the work and he brought a helper the 2nd day and they completed by the end of the 2nd day. He was fast and efficient. We have already discussed having the outside of our house painted next year. Excellent work, excellent company. Jose is personable yet professional. Definitely Recommend. read more

JR Painting was great! I called to get a quote after seeing their work on a family members house and he was very quick to get back to me with a quote. He was able to start quickly and worked very fast. So much attention to detail it was as if he were painting his own home. They are also very fairly priced. Put it this way, he is still finishing my project and I am already writing this review because I'm already that happy with his work. read more

You can't get anyone more tentative, clean, priced right and an overall great guy to work with. We would use no body but Jim

All the positive reviews on Yelp helped us decide that this may or might be a good painting contractor to go with. After reviewing several estimates from the other contractors, we decided to go with JR Painting. A company that was not the cheapest and definitely not the most expensive from the other estimates that we received, but they did have a very reputable positive review on Yelp that help us finalized our decision. We are very happy that we chose JR Painting as our contractor because the owner Jose was not pushy on the sale nor rushing to get paid. He was more of a person who cared more on his workmanship than making a quick buck, which shows when he was done painting the exterior of our house. It's beautiful! If you're a person who is willing to pay and get quality work, look no further. This is a very reputable company that takes very good care of his customers like he took care of us. read more

Jose was amazing from the get go. I work a lot of hours and not 'traditional' shifts and he was more than accommodating and helpful. He was always on time, very polite and my house looks amazing!! JR Painting recently painted the interior of our Craftsman style home in Willow Glen. As one can appreciate in an older home, the amount of detail required to paint is overwhelming. The home has wainscoting, crown molding, window trims, chair rail molding, and many built in cabinets. We also used an extensive color palette which made painting more difficult. To complicate matters, wallpaper had to be removed and walls retextured. Jose and his crew spent 10 days repainting our home. His attention to detail and quality of his work was astounding, finishing the job on time. Unlike most painters, Jose only does one job at a time so you get his full attention without work slippage. After the end of each day, his guys did a great job cleaning up after themselves which was greatly appreciated. Another great quality of Jose is that he was very patient with us as we kept expanding the scope of work in mid-flight. He simply smiled and told us he would get it done. And when unforeseen problems occured, he made no excuses and took full ownership and fixed the problems. Their work speaks for themselves. The interior paint job is jaw dropping! We could not have received a better quality paint job from painters whose quotes were 4x more expensive than JR Painting. We will definitely use JR Painting again! read more

At every step in the process Jose not only was on time but completely explained what was/ needed to happen. My tenant moved out, I found that there were lots of damage and stain on two walls. I only want to do some touch up and avoid repainting the whole property. It's hard to find a contractor who is willing to do small job. Luckily I found Jose. He recommended a color that closely matched the old paint, did the job in one day, cleaned up after job was done. He also did extra work without extra charge, including cleaning one door and repainting the door, and painted an extra wall. Definitely will contact him again in the future for painting project. read more
