Today my mom reported that a technician named David came to their house and in less than 5 minutes discovered that they did not understand how to light the pilot light. The gas logs are new to them. He helped them change the batteries to the remote and explained how to maintain the logs. Not only was he on time and polite, he didn't even charge them for the service call. I am extremely grateful and highly recommend them based on this great experience.

We are just a few months away from completion of our building project with Trademark and I am happy to report it is still an absolute dream to work with Mark and his band of merry subcontractors. We, of course, have interacted a lot with the framers and they are some of the best carpenters I have ever met! However, we now have interacted with all of the major subs and suppliers: plumbers, electricians, sheetrock, trim and finishing, painters, brick and stone masons, cabinets, flooring, countertops, and lighting and without exception they are all fantastic to work with and just good human beings! I especially like Victor, their main man when it comes to the framing and tweaking of, well, just about anything! Not only is Victor an outstanding craftsman, but he is a super nice fellow and I'm sure I take up way too much of his time every time I'm out there, because I cannot help but strike up a conversation with him! I will end up doing some reviews for the other subs, but for now let this stand as a recommendation for any one of them. If you are looking for something specific and just need a sub, I'm happy to pass the business name on to you via DM, or comment. Understand though, they are pretty busy building Mark's homes! :-)

Romero Roofing gave me the best overall estimate with good materials. The roofing crew arrived as scheduled and were completely finished that afternoon. All required materials and flashing were installed as quoted. Site was cleaned up, no trash or roofing nails left behind. Appears to be good work, roof looks nice, very polite crew and business employees. The estimated price was exactly what I was charged. I would highly recommend this locally owned business.

I had to do some of it and had another contractor a quite a bit of time prepping walls also. What wall prep they did do needs to be redone. They sprayed the outside (not my preference) and got overspray on many surfaces. They chose to bleach the house rather than pressure wash which might have been fine but they got the bleach on my screened in porch and bleached it. They did attempt to fix that by painting the the studs after I had the screen and mullions remove d. This cost quite a bit to replace.

Last summer one of my heavy-framed, tempered glass storm doors 'blew out' into a zillion pieces. After pricing a replacement at nearly 200$, my neighbour suggested I try American. I'm glad I did! I dropped the frame off, and the completed job was ready in less than a week (despite it being in the 'busy time') and having to be special ordered from a bulk supplier. In addition to repairs, American offers new installation and bid work to area contractors and home owners. Sorry, but I had to deduct one star, as American does not accept credit cards. Check or cash only! American is between 'new' Hwy 27 and the 'old' Hwy 27 on Harrison Road, across from a Hardies location.

Plastic is sticking out everywhere. Called the company who told me that is standard in the industry. I have several other vinyl windows and none of them look like this. We had a house fire and we're looking for a mobile to replace it on our land, fell in love with a lot model they had and told that if we don't put 1000 down by the following Monday it was probably going to be sold... So we get the 1000 together in cash and take it to the lot... Fast forward appx a week and a half, we find out that insurance doesn't cover as much as we thought and we now have to back up and punt and probably go with a used mobile now or something totally different... We go to get our deposit back and told we have to wait appx 14 days so corporate can cut a check I didn't bring a check, I brought cash, we had to get the $$ in a day or two if we didn't want what we were hoping to be our new home sold out from under us, but not even a full two weeks later and they have to wait 14 days to cut a check, well I didn't bring a check I brought cash, and if me and the wife can scrounge up 1000 bucks in a day or two to deposit on the home we wanted you would think a corporate company would be able to do the same?????? Can't put my faith in a company that can't afford to give you back the hard earned money you put up in cash without having a waiting period... I'd be concerned about a company that pushed for a deposit to be made like yesterday, but can't refund it with the same amount of time... If you decide to business here don't fall for the if you really like it you have to put up $1000 unless you guarantee you won't have any mishaps getting an approval or waiting for the insurance company and knowing you can cover the total cost because you are going to have to wait for the corporate company to apparently find the $1000 you have given them in cash and write you a check, hopefully the check is good since it is such a headache for them to give me my money back????
