Hubby & I had dinner here tonight. We wanted to try this place when we were here in Oct, but I…read morepicked Wednesday to try it & they are closed on Wednesday. We are so glad we got to try it. We were the only ones in the restaurant when we went. The young girl who took care of us was great! She was friendly & super sweet. Hubby got a Michelada & added a shot of Tito's since there was no alcohol in the tomato juice part of the drink. He said it was really good. My sangria was good. It's made with pineapple juice. We ordered the chips & salsa. We also ordered the guacamole. The chips & salsa were good. I was happy there was no heat in the salsa since I am a huge whimp when it comes to spicy food. The guacamole was really good after we added some salt & lime juice. I normally don't eat guacamole, but I liked it too. We went "out of our box" & tried the whole fried fish. We split it. We asked her to add rice & beans if it didn't come with it. It was huge. The fish was fried perfectly! Hubby loved it. I liked it too. It was moist. The rice was good. The refried beans were excellent! I don't know what they do, but the texture & flavor was the best we have ever had. I loved them. We will definitely make this place are go to when we come down again. Please note tips are cash only in case you don't carry cash!

I have Carlos V shrimp, something new for me. Such generous portions, you'll leave her 10lbs heavier. Allegedly they have dessert but too full to try. This place is really small, so if there's a big party you're SOL. We never leave PP without eating here, we love it so much

The restaurant was very clean and updated. The staff were very attentive and friendly. It wasn't crowded when we got there but quickly filled up, so get there a little earlier than dinner time. Now to the food, I had the Diablo shrimp and was so, so good! If you like spicy this is definitely spicy so be ready for it, the waiter warned me haha- but I will definitely get it again. It also comes with rice and a small salad. Mom had the whole fried fish and it came with French fries and coleslaw. She loved the fish ( I did try it and would get it again). Lastly, my sister got the grouper seasoned in a brown butter sauce ( I can't remember the name of the sauce just know brown butter). It was just okay. She said she'd try it another way but not with that particular seasoning. We also had fresh margaritas which were very good.

When the…read morewaiter came he offered chips and guacamole but forgot to mention the guacamole was extra. Good thing I had already looked at the menu and noticed it was $9.00 U S dollars. Once the chips and salsa came, I ordered the fish of a platter with a side of salad and fries, the food was good. The homemade salsa was more like watered down ketchup with a hint of chili. It took a good 20 minutes to get the chips and salsa and another 25 minutes for the food to come out. The waiter never came to check on us. Just an older waiter that came to drop off the bill. Ambiance was not good. It felt more like a bar ambiance than a restaurant. The music was blaring. This could appease to someone wanting to go drink more than to go eat a tasty seafood meal.
