I recently visited the Fredericksburg Comic Con - held at the Fredericksburg Convention Center - in Fredericksburg, VA. The 2026 Fredericksburg Comic Con was held the weekend of July 11-12, 2026.
I procured a ticket online for Saturday admission (July 11). The ticket is then e-mailed to you and you can add to your digital wallet (Apple Wallet or Google Wallet) depending on your choice of smart phone.
I arrived about noon - walked up to the registration desk, they scanned my digital ticket, and put a wrist band on me.
Lots of cool stuff to check out - comic books galore, all sorts of comic book and other figurines, art work, games, and more! I purchased several sets of D&D dice from "Michi Made Boutique" and met the owner - a very nice lady named Michelle Yarmer-Smith.
There is also a row of tables along one wall where one can meet various celebrities and get a photo with them. They had a couple of retired Pro Wrestlers, plus comic book artists and more.
Lots of Cosplayers were roaming about - a lot of Marvel, DC, and anime characters!
There was also a food area - with food and drinks available for purchase.
Overall, a pretty good selection of fun stuff!
My one criticism of the event - it was really hot out that day - and the AC inside was not keeping up inside. A couple of the vendors told me it was because the organizers kept the doors open in the area where the vendors would offload and bring in their stuff. I don't know if that is true - but it was really uncomfortable inside - and I would have stayed longer if it were more comfortable inside.
