Before my most recent visit to this hobby shop, I had not been there for at least 7-8 months. When I walked in, the guy behind the counter said "hey, how have you been?" Then he started talking with me like we have been friends since second grade! I was completely caught off guard and confused because I had no idea who he was I awkwardly asked him if we knew each other and he said "yeah, I remember you the last time you came in." I told him that was impressive because I hadn't been in there for almost 8 months. I asked him how he remembered me given he has probably seen thousands of customers since I had been there last. He said I remember your sleeve!!! He said when I saw it the first time he would never forget it! I personally cannot remember anyone I have ever met because of their PARTICULAR tattoo! THAT speaks volumes to me about Jake's work. His work has been the ONLY work I have had done that was remembered by ONE person I had a five minute interaction with from 8 months ago! Jake- thank you! You take your work seriously and your talent literally shows. Go see Jake at Black Sheep Tattoo in San Clemente if you're considering anything new or continuing anything old.
