I had two crepes from Blue Cow. The first was the chicken caesar salad crepe. The owner said it was a new addition to his menu so he was looking for feedback on it. I loved it. It had the right amount of dressing, chicken, and lettuce all tucked into a nice little crepe which served as the croutons for this "salad". It was pretty easy to eat as well which can sometimes be a problem with crepes. I also got a a lemon dessert crepe which was delicious! It was sweet without being overly sugary or overly lemony. Both the "meal" crepes and the "dessert" crepes are absolutely fantastic and will leave you feeling full. If you see Blue Cow around town don't hesitate to get yourself a crepe! You won't regret it!

Street in Milwaukee. The Eleven25 location primarily sells hot or take-n-bake pizzas and fresh sandwiches. I think you'll currently get a better idea of their cooking skills from the food truck. The menu offers a handful of items, with most being seafood dishes, but there non-seafood options, as well as desserts. I enjoyed their lobster roll at the NEWaukee Night Market last summer, and recently LOVED their lamb gyro and crab cakes! They use actual lamb shoulder for the gyro instead of the strips of processed meat you typically get at a gyro joint. The lamb is tender and perfectly seasoned! The crab cakes are made with claw meat and they were perfectly crisp and delicious! I capped off the most recent meal with a slice of their key lime pie, and it exceeded my expectations. The pie crust is a bit fragile on the side, so it may detach from the pie filling when you get close to it, but the flavor and texture are right on! Now, I have their Mahi Mahi tacos and Reuben on my to-do list, based on the rave reviews I've seen on social media, but the menu changes often, so I hope I can keep up!

For lunch I've had the pleasure of trying the Reuben, blackened salmon sandwich, Cubano and chicken gyro. All very very tasty and well made with great quality meats and fish. Very tasty. Good prices, too. $5 gets you some super legit truff fries big enough to serve 3 people, and sliders are $4. Keep on keeping on, my guy, you're doing great. Their menu offered a lot of randomness. The special of the day was fried chicken but they also had a Mexican-style menu up. Since my friend loves Mexican food, I went that route. I asked for the steak tacos but the woman informed me that there wasn't enough to make a good serving. Disappointing, but I appreciate the honesty rather than get a wimpy taco. So instead I went with the ground beef taco combo. For $5.50 you get three huge tacos covered with freshly shredded cheese, pickled jalapenos, red sauce, sour cream, the works and a soda. (They had orange, grape, lemon iced tea and Pepsi). It was so good and just barely more expensive than taco bell. When I dropped off the tacos my friend said that he had been there before and that they have awesome burritos as well. I will have to look into these burrito claims but so far I am sold on this off-the-trail food truck.

She proceeded to tell me that they do not have any breaded haddock left to fill my order. I told her that I called in the morning to place the order so I wasn't quite sure how they couldn't have any for me. That is the purpose of ordering ahead. She stated that they were very busy and ran out. Meanwhile, while I'm talking to her, my brother-in-law was in line to pick up the order. She stated that they could fill my order next week Friday. I told her I have people at my house now for dinner. She then transferred me to someone else. I believe she said she was transferring me to the general manager or manager. He came on the phone asking how he could help me. Did she not tell him why she called me?! So I told him what she told me. He basically said the same thing. They were very busy and ran out of the breaded haddock. He also mentioned that they could fill my order for next Friday. Then he suggested one of the other types of fish, at a much higher price. He also stated that they probably didn't have 5 pounds of any type of fish to sell me. I can't believe they would run a business like that. Offering fish for next week wasn't a solution. I had a group of people at my house for dinner last night. I don't know that I could trust ordering ahead from them again.
