GCG was recommended by Erick's Concrete Services for my driveway project. I was quickly impressed…read moreby their professionalism and attention to quality and detail. My pour was 1670 square feet with 33 cubic yards 1697 that had a fair amount of complexity in terms of drainage and curbs and levels. The set up took 3 days including grading, forming and rebar with a crew of eight. I also added my neighbors smaller driveway that enlarged the project by 450 sq ft and took our pour up to 42 cu yds. On the pour day we had 14 finishers who did a quality job, and on the following day they returned to finish removing forms and did an excellent cleaning up removing all construction debris. This is a top quality second generation family company. I found the entire team to be easy to deal with, friendly, very professional and conscientious in their work. I now have them on my list of those i will choose to deal with in future. This is a top quality company that keeps its promises and works well with the customer. A+ in my book. They keep their promises.

If you are searching for a concrete contractor, I recommend D and G Concrete. They recently…read morecompleted a project at my Royal Oaks home and I am delighted with the finished project. Daniel Sr. and his son Daniel, were at my house within two days of my initial phone contact to evaluate the job. They provided me a proposal within days. I subsequently enlarged the scope of the project, and they made several more visits over the next two weeks. The project consisted of two stamped concrete patios, two stamped concrete aprons, a stamped concrete walkway, 135' of fence footing, and one propane tank pad. Once finalized a start date was scheduled. Though there was a slight delay, they kept me apprised of the situation, and the work commenced as rescheduled. I was particularly impressed with their work as they formed the pour. It's that time when a trade skill and art meet. For example, the two Daniels formed and reformed a walkway ramp with stairs several times over the course of a day before they were satisfied, transforming the mundane to aesthetically pleasing. They were attentive to my concerns regarding drainage and slope, and provided suggestions as work proceeded. At all times during the project, they sought approval as various forms were set in the yard. The core crew are all family members which I believe instills pride in their work. The stamped concrete came out great, and they returned after a month and some sunshine to seal the concrete. In addition to the quality work it was gratifying to do business with a local business.

Abel Jr got back to me promptly and offered to come out for a quote within a couple days. He was extremely professional and courteous. He even had a drone which took overhead pictures of the area I wanted done. By the following day, I had a very detailed quote sent to my email. The price was reasonable, their company is licensed and bonded and the contract was well written. Now on to the most impressive part. Abel Jr scheduled me in within a few days to start the work. Abel Jr, Abel Sr and their team arrived within the 30 minute window they gave me and got right to work. Within an hour or so of being there, Abel Jr told me they would pour the concrete that same day! This included removing 10" of dirt, a drip irrigation system, sealing said system, laying the base rock, pouring the concrete and applying the finish/joints to match the driveway. After all was said and done, they did a fantastic job in a fast and professional manner! They were a pleasure to work with and I will use their services for any future needs!

I received a call back within in a few hours and Sabas made an appointment with me at my convenience. Sabas was on time, curtious, and really listened to what I wanted. I had been wanting to add on to my bedroom and had met with other contractors but the quotes I recevied were way out of my budget. I mentioned to Sabas I wanted to add on to my bedroom and asked him what he thought it would cost. He gave me a verbal estimate and it was so reasonable so I asked him to give me a written estimate for the shower, floors, and the addition. When I received the written estimate it was very detailed of what was included and in the same price range he verbally provided. I made the decision to move forward and he connected me with a archetect/designer to draw my plans for the addition. The process with both the designer and Cruz Construction was seamless and communication was so easy. As I worked with Sabas and his company over time I added the painting of my cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom, replacing the hardware on the cabinets, replacing a window, and re roofing my home. His employees were kind, hardworking, and reliable. They cleaned up after themselves, were quiet, and did superior work. I have worked with many contractors throughout the years. I have build 2 homes and completely remodeled another. This contractor was far by the best! Due to the amount of work I had done this company worked in my house on and off for almost a year. Sabas was always took my calls and responded to any texts or emails the sameday. He was helpful in picking colors and brought samples to me. Any issues that came up he handled immediately. He has a very calm demeaner, is very patient, and really listens. He has direct employees to do all the work and does not use sub contractors which made the projects go so much smoother and timely. Several of his employees are relatives which was nice as they too were kind, patient, and hardworking. The pride all his employees take in their work really showed. I never worried about leaving my home and them being in it without me present. They were trustworthy, clean, and respectful of my property. I am so happy with the work that was done and how my projects turned out! If you are even thinking of needing a contractor don't hesitate to call Cruz Construction you will not be disappointmented. His prices might be a little higher then some but as the saying goes "You get what you pay for."
