I searched 3-4 stores for the best price on the tile for my home project. After looking at some…read morestores that inflated prices for their "showroom" or could't be bothered with helping me, I did my business with Louis. My tile came in before scheduled, I recieved my 2' x 2' tiles with no damages, and I got a fair price. Also, when we saw we had ordered a box or two short and the tile was coming from back east and had to be shipped, Louis got on it right away and made sure we had enough to finish the job with little to no lag time. Everytime a dealt with Louis, he was extemely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly! I WILL be going there to get tile for my next project even thoughit is a 35-40 minute drive for me. And......just for the record, I DO NOT do reviews until the job is completely finished.

I became a Customer at Praxair in July of this year 2019, do to unfortunate circumstances; I was diagnosed with cancer and began a "cold capping" procedure to help prevent hair loss while undergoing chemotherapy, Juan was the first employee I had the pleasure of meeting, my husband and I walked in with our cooler and requested 80lbs of dryice slabs, I think Juan noticed the confusion in our faces as we were trying to figure out how much we actually needed, Juan immediately stepped in to help us figure it out, he asked what we would be needing the ice for and when I explained it was for cold capping he was instantly familiar and explained that there are a few customers that go in occasionally for the same purpose, my system was different than the other customers Juan asked me questions and immediately expressed interest in learning in order to better assist possible future customers, he placed our ice in our ice chest and after paying he even carried it out and placed it in our SUV, he wished me luck and offered that if we ever needed anything not to hesitate to give him a call. My treatments were scheduled 3 weeks apart and every time my husband and I walked in we received stellar customer service from the entire crew, Miguel, George and either Josh or Jonathan (I feel really terrible about not remembering the other crew members name, I blame it on chemo brain...lol) they all treated us the same and they all would ask how it was going, how many treatments I had left, they even offered to reserve some ice for me as they were selling out due to the power outages; on one occasion they had sold out of the slabs I needed and they quickly came up with a solution that worked out perfectly; on another occasion my husband and I got into a car accident as we were leaving Praxair and upon arriving late to my treatment they needed to reschedule me for the following day which meant we needed to go buy more ice; when we arrived at Praxair requesting more ice the guys asked what happened, we explained the accident and having to reschedule my treatment, they got me the ice I requested and when it came time to pay they told me that they would take care of it (that really touched my heart and showed me how caring and compassionate they are) I would definitely recommend Praxair, they have a GREAT group of guys working there, this is the type of business with the kind of employees that make you want to come back and visit even if it's just to say "hello" which I plan on doing even after I've completed my treatments and no longer need ice. I would also like to add that during my treatments I met a woman at the infusion center I go to who is helping a friend who is cold capping we got to talking because she noticed my system was different than her friends she also noticed I got slabs of ice where as her friends system uses pellets, I asked her were she got her ice and before giving me the name of the company she went on and on about the staff where she goes and how great they are and super helpful and reasonably priced it is since she called several other locations to compare pricing, she then went on to tell me I should really consider going to Praxair! I immediately knew from her description she was talking about Praxair in Watsonville, I told her that was were I went and then we went on for about a half hour talking about how wonderful they are...so if you don't believe me, ask Gloria! Thank You to the Praxair family for making a difficult time so much easier, I truly appreciate you all, you will forever have a special place in my heart...God bless you all!

The…read moreproblem is that I wanted to match the metal roofing paint to the same green color as the clay S-tile of my house. I looked everywhere, including online. For a small job like mine (220 sq ft), most of the suppliers simply ignored me and gave me the cold shoulder. Running out of options, I found Western Roofing. They said they had some material in their yard that I was welcome to check out. It turned out that not only did they have the style I was looking for, but a near-exact match on the color. They even gave me a discount and the entire material cost was about $400. As a reference point, ABC Supply Co (Santa Cruz), the biggest joke of all, quoted me over $1900!!! Western helped me to load my truck, ensuring that my strapping was good for freeway driving from Watsonville to Santa Cruz. They even suggested where I could find green colored roofing screws. They were incredibly helpful!!! Epilogue: I had one spare piece left over and brought back this (13' x 3') section to return. They said that their policy on metal roof material was a no return one, but then they said they could make an exception for a full refund (and no restocking fee). What more can I say about these guys. Great customer service and a real pleasure to deal with.
