All the ingredients tasted fresh, and the crust and bread had great flavor and texture. We also tried the buffalo wings. They were decent, but the breading could use a little improvement. Went on Wednesday night. There were very few customers. First took our elderly relative to use the bathroom. No paper towels. Went back to the entrance to put in our dinner order. 1 Ordered a salad for the 4 of us to share. The computer populated the info as Ranch dressing. We requested Bleu Cheese. I saw it being changed on the screen. 2. Ordered the Fratelli's Special large and drinks. The girl who took our order was pleasant enough. Of course when paying before any food was delivered included deciding on a tip. Done. The drinks were delivered first after what seemed 10 minutes. 1b. The salad that was sufficient for 4 of us to share came after 15 minutes. One small container of dressing was for all to share. It was not Bleu Cheese as requested, but rather Ranch. 2b. The water with lemon had no lemon. No one offered to refill our drinks. When I asked for a refill, I did get one. No lemon was brought. The pizza took a full 30 minutes or more. Large was sufficient for the four of us to share. No one checked on us. My niece ordered another pizza to go. That took so long, we forgot about it and left. Remembered it at the car and went back. I placed a delivery order, when the food arrived the order was accurate and hot. I ordered a pizza with a stuffed crust. When I cut into the pizza the crust was empty. I called in to the restaurant to tell them about it. The person that answered the phone was just rude and told me to hang on. Then someone else came on the phone and stated they had made my pizza. They tried to argue with me over the phone telling me that they had put the cheese in the crust, all the while being argumentative. That is the last time I will order from this place, especially if arguing with their customers is how they do business. I told a friend about it, and I was told this is their way of doing business. Update: Mark the owner contacted me about my experience, and apologized for the behavior of his employees. To me this is a big deal. It's good to know some things regardless of management change, employee change or the name of the restaurant, don't change. This pizza joint is the only place worth going to in silver lakes and somehow they manage to mess it up nine out of 10 times, either you just don't get all of what you ordered or what you order is wrong because there's always mixups. I ordered a salad and mafia bread yet somehow someone came and picked up my mafia bread because they someone either put the ticket on the wrong item or someone confused it for a pizza and so that person's pizza was still there and I am sorry I am not waiting 20 minutes for them to make more bread, I grew up in this town in the 90s and early 2000s and I have even left for several years at a time and whenever I come back this place just simply hasn't changed. They tell me it'll be about $10 which is a little pricy but whatever... I ask for half cheese and half olives... So I go to pick up my "small" pizza and it's microscopic. It's maybe 4 inches across and most of it is crust. I paid ten dollars for a "small" pizza that was actually what they call a "personal" pizza in the rest of the world and the person on the phone couldn't be bothered to mention it. I guess they'd rather get their almighty dollar than care about their customers. We came here to Helendale to visit my wife's dad who lives in Silver Lakes. Didn't feel like going out so it's pizza. I didn't imagine that a one pizzeria town would have pizza this good. We ordered a medium Fratelli's Special and a medium Mafia Bread with Mariana sauce. That was more than 4 of us could eat, and the pizzas was 5 stars for crust, sauce and amount of ingredients. Fresh but not greasy (pie and bread), spices just right (next time I'll add red peppers, but I wanted to taste just what they gave me). If you staying local, or passing through, I suggest this one. There is one woman who works there who is so rude! I wrote privately to the owners on Facebook Messenger and they read the message. No response, no "thank you for your business", no "sorry, we'll handle this", nothing. My message was polite and simply suggested that they might want to to retrain this employee.
