Super fantastic pizza dough. A little chewy n crispy. Great attentive service and loads of italian being spoken all around. Close enough to Collins to make a walk away from hustle n bustle of shoppers. Excellent suggestion from the concierge at the Dream. read more

Went there for lunch. Beautifully executed pizza at surprisingly inexpensive prices, particularly based on the location. The pizzaiolo was Italian, lots of Italian people hanging out as well. read more

Ate here twice this trip to SoBe. Last night we started with a fresh burrata, tomatoes, Parma ham, and greens. It was wonderful, very flavorful. We then had a mix of pastas and pies. Again very tasty. Servers were attentive. Ate outside, but is very loud with traffic because of its location at the corner of 5th and Washington. Had a pasta for lunch the other day, garganelli, which comes in a bowl formed out of Parmesan cheese. Very cool. Waitress was accommodating since the sauce on the menu is white and I like red. She was able to make the meal with a pink sauce which is the way I would recommend eating this meal. read more

Excellent Italian food. This place is perfect if you want a classy, quiet atmosphere away from all the wild stuff going on around ocean drive. It was nice to get away from all of that for one night while we were in Miami for spring break, and really.. Who doesn't LOVE some GREAT Italian food. Not feeling very wordy so I'll keep it short and sweet. We had the eggplant pizza for an appetizer- delicious.. Could've eaten the whole thing by myself. My cousin and I split the gnocchi with a side salad. Both delicious- portions are perfect size unless you're a fat kid like me. Our waitress was exceptional- wish I got her name. She's the pretty blonde one with an accent. Idk if that helps. There's outdoor seating but just after sunset it was a little chilly so bring a jacket. Next time I'm in miami I'll be back! read more

Surprisingly the owner of Tap Tap uninhibitedly recommended this place when we were sad we wouldn't be in the city when his restaurant opened for the day. And when we read that this was on the "Best thing I've Ever Ate," we rushed over.. quickly. Very cozy little shop at the corner of an intersection. Everything was just excellent, from the quick service, warm bread and butter, their house wine, and especially their entrees and the portions. We had the Ripieno Calzone (not sure which one of the calzones was on the Food Network) and the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese. The Calzone had mozarella, ricotta, salami, and pepper. And incredibly as loaded as it was with cheese, it wasn't overwhelming but more-so the melt-in-your mouth type. The Tagliatelle was flat noodles with bolognese and tomato sauce and was much lighter than expected, perhaps because the portion wasn't gigantic like typical Italian eateries. Check into this place on Foursquare and you get a free bottle of house Merlot. And it's pretty damn good stuff too, at the table we even looked up where to buy them at they're only $5-$6 at Whole Foods (we stocked up once we got back home). read more

Came across this place on Yelp cause my friends and I were looking for a place to eat before the game. They have a lot of tables inside and the bar has a tv. Outside they probably have 4-5 tables. We sat outside cause the weather was really nice, but if you can't take the heat, go inside where it's air conditioned hahaha. The staff was very professional, helpful, and attentive. We didn't really know what to order so we had asked our server to recommend a few things and everything the server recommend was very delicious like the pizza and the pasta. We ordered 3 to 4 dishes and made it a family style. There was 4 of us and it was more than enough food. Tip: don't forget to check in, you get a free glass of prosecco! Yum! read more

We live on the beach and have tried them all. This place is the best. Their ingredients are fresh, full of flavor and the dishes are consistent. If you like Napolitano pizza, there's is authentic. The meatballs are homemade and the sauce isnt acidic/overcooked... carpaccio and ceasar salad are excellent (but get the dressing on the side- my husband likes heavy dressing but it's too much IMO). Tiramisu is also tasty. read more

I dream of their food tonight. Made BIG MISTAKE not finding this place on first night, Came 4/5 dinners in Miami vacay. The best Italian I ever have! Everyone in restaurant speak Italian - it feel like you in Italy! Bruschetta come with olives - I hate olive. HOW THEY MAKE IT TASTE GOOD?? Server all very cute and handsome and nice and funny. Now...thing I hate. I get fat here. I need to wear bikini to fit in with all the nice looking naked people on beach. But pizza, pasta, bruschetta...This is real bread meal! Only vegetable was Minestrone. Now we get free entertainment as well. I see man on the street fighting other mans and screaming "you monkey" at him. This VERY WEIRD right outside restaraunt. Man then run on the street and punch cars screaming "GET OF CAR!" over and over again. It exciting, but it scary. I think, "will I get shot now? Is this how it end?" With the yummiest food ever and very cute and handsome and nice and funny boys, I die happy. read more

The pizza is sooooooo good!! Perfect : better than Spris on the beach which has been my neighborhood go to for some time. The pizza is made in a brick oven and takes about 5-6 min from order time. I'm not a huge fan of cheese but my friend ordered the Bufala Mozzarella ball cheese and it was sincerely unlike anything I have tasted - delicious. The staff is friendly and on point which can be appreciated being in Miami. Nice ambiance and good food - can't ask for much more. read more

Our party of four had a very late dinner at this restaurant just a couple days ago. The outdoor patio looked very nice, so we asked for a table outside. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are not small. We ordered a small white pizza with mozzarella , fresh tomatoes, basil and prosciutto as a starter. Delicious! As a main course I had homemade cannelloni - excellent. Definitely try tiramisu! The service was very good as well. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgable of the menu. Definitely will be back when we are in the area again ! read more

So I've been craving good Italian food from my hometown in montreal, trying to find something similar to restaurant la pizzeria napoletana, first pizzeria in montreal established in 1948. Have tried a couple places in miami which never really sparkled for me. Looked up online to find neapolitan style and found Frateli La Bufala... Finally!!!!! Thank You!! Im a craver for classics, so went for Margarita pizza and pomodoro spaghetti. My husband had Fettucini Alfredo, not on menu but server was really nice and offered to do so at our liking. Excellent caring service from Paola btw. Overall awsome food ( so good we reordered to go), awsome service and great vibe from the place and the management. Thank you, will definitely be back!! read more

Would totally recommend this place for a date night or with family, or with a large group of friends. Tips are automatically added to your bill (17%) but the customer service was great, so that shouldn't matter. We got the margherita pizza with pasta and octopus. Best meal of our night in Miami! read more

My family came here for dinner on Saturday night and we had a reservation but it didn't. Seem necessary around 6pm. We were seated quickly adjacent to a patio heat tower which was great because it was especially breezy. We started the meal off with burrata with prosciutto di Parma which was great but would've been a bit enhanced with some thinly sliced bread (the complimentary bread was thicker sliced but still paired well). The combo of the creamy burrata with the salty prosciutto was excellent. We then decided to share a Margherita pizza and the pasta carbonara because it listed guanciale (pork cheek) rather than bacon or pancetta. The pizza was good but the crust was a little too thin where the cheese just fell off of it (at one point I picked up a slice and the cheese fell into my water). The pasta was incredibly salty and was definitely bacon not guanciale which was disappointing as we really enjoyed guanciale in Rome. We checked in on Yelp and enjoyed the complimentary glass of Prosecco. It was a disappointment to learn they don't tell you to make it obvious that 18% gratuity is added to the bull because we ended up tipping A LOT when you add the gratuity to the maximum option presented on the server's cell phone point-of-sale system. I think they do this purposely so you don't get to look over your bill or think and you just do it rushed which took off a star. If we want to tip high we will gladly but we shouldn't be tricked into it. We ended up paying $90+ for a ~$60 meal read more

Close to my hotel and was craving some pasta. I ordered the mushroom pasta, and a red wine. If you check in you can get a free Prosecco. The food was ok not bad not great but I am picky about Italian food. The service was mostly good but not the greatest. Seems like a popular spot and good for families. read more

My husband Nicola (who is italian) and I came here for lunch today. The food is amazing, the ingredients are fresh and of the best quality, many of them such as the bufala mozzarella and the burrata imported from Italy every week. There are varieties of pizza such as the Trofea (tuna) that we don't see in other places and are trully italian. We highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to taste the true Italian pizza here in Miami. read more

Looking for MEDIOCRE food and HORRIBLE (and slightly racist) service? Well, you've definitely come to the right place! I'm not one to write reviews, but I felt so inclined after the horrendous experience my mother and I had at this place last weekend. We arrived around 5:30pm. My mom ordered a margherita pizza and I ordered a delicata pizza. As mentioned the food was mediocre, at best. Heck if you're in the mood for italian and in the area, I'd suggest visiting La Locanda a few doors down. Great food and SPECTACULAR service in comparison to Fratelli... All this brings me to the service at Fratelli - the main reason I'm writing this review. My mom and I had a male waiter with short brown hair, probably around his mid to late 30's. After ordering our food (in the restaurant which was 90% empty), we weren't asked ONCE how we were doing AT ALL during our meal. This dreadful service was exacerbated by the fact that the same male waiter constantly asked a neighboring table - seated with people of a different race - how they were doing every 5 minutes. Being that the waiter was avoiding our table in this extremely DISRESPECTFUL manner, I can honestly say that I'll never come back to this restaurant. If you're someone of color, AVOID THIS RESTAURANT at all costs since you won't be treated like other customers. read more

I read great reviews and this alone peaked my interest as I LOVE pizza but more importantly Neapolitan style pizza.. Mostly in south beach you will find corner pizza stands with half baked pizza which I hate because it dries up the sauce... Now to my review I was greeted quickly and seated right away. My drink arrived just before my super quick brick over hot gooey beautiful pizza arrives ... The taste test. Chewy crust was perfect not soggy. Not dry. Chewy perfect. The sauce was just right. Light in taste but heavy enough to see it and taste it. I do dislike when there is not enough sauce on a pizza. ... The mozzarella was perfect too. Just enough to to over right to the edge of the sauce revealing the right amount of red around the pizza. This is a must must visiting if you love Neapolitan style Brick over pizza that is made perfect and you are in Southbeach. I will be back !!! read more

Nice atmosphere. Food is so-so. It was not bad, but beef carpaccio was probably pre-made and the edge of meat was beginning to dry. Bacon of Carbonara was too burnt and tasted charcoal. Waiter was nice and friendly. read more

Okay so I am a huge fan of yelp, but this is a completely honest review. I was on a girls trip with my friends and we wanted some good authentic Italian food. I have been to Italy before so when I eat at american Italian restaurants now, my expectations are never high. I saw the place had good reviews so I had to try it out. It's a small cute little restaurant, not too loud and overbearing. We made reservations just in case. Also heads up.. when you call they have huge Italian accent which is so cute, but they may not be able to understand your name haha. First, I want to say everyone who works there is actually from Italy and speaks Italian. That's when you know the food is going to be good. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. In the corner they have a brick oven where you can see them making the pizza, good sign! They give you bread, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar just like they do in Italy, woowee I was impressed! I had a hard time deciding what to get as my entree because everything on the menu sounded so amazing. I ended up choosing the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese. The presentation was beautiful and the food was amazing. The waiters were extremely sweet. If I get the chance to go back to Miami, I will definitely be returning! 5 stars!! P.S. Make sure to get the yelp app and check in so you can get free glass of prosecco! read more
