But what comes with that is really cheap bowling, which is always my main motivation for going. Their concessions are shared with Izzy's. The advantage of this is that you can go between Izzy's and Apollo freely. If you're not into the bar scene and just want to bowl, then this poses a problem. My best friend used to belong to a league at Apollo. After he left, I used to bowl here with him for a while. I got to hear some of the interesting inside gossip about the place. The only thing I remember hearing about was that, because Apollo has been around forever, so has the staff, and as such they're stubborn. I never got any of this when I was there, but since he was there at least once a week for years and years, I'll take his word for it. Beware: it's not the most polished of bowling alleys, but it's not ghetto either. It's middle of the road, and that makes it comfortable.
