been bowling here for years and it's a pit from bad food too bathrooms being dirty and the lanes are lifting up and they refuse to fix them. I am only here because I love my league. I would never tell anyone to bowl here. I am tried of spending money on bad service of the lanes.lane number 48 and 18 and 16 are lifted just to give you and idea when you throw your ball you see the lane dip down some 1/4 inch. read more

There are many great bowling alleys in the metro Detroit area, this one is pretty good. They recently updated the bowling interfaces which are much newer and nicer now. I have been well taken care of and would recommend it to others. read more

The worst place ever they are super rude and hit me a female and threw me to the ground and I didn't do nothing wrong they asked me to leave rudely and I ask if they could maybe next time ask a little nicer and they instead grabbed us and started pushing us out and then they proceeded to throw me to the ground and hit my boyfriend and his friend multiple time concluding us to call the cops and nothing happened about it so not recommend to go there at all DO NOT GO HERE read more

Great service at this billing alley. Always clean and well cared for lanes. The cost is inexpensive and they are great to kids here. They have a great pro shop too. They host a lot of HS tournaments in the winter so call before you head over here as you may not be able to get a lane if one is going. read more

Pretty good prices, apparently good food according to the kids, but the bowling balls weren't great condition. Still a nice local place and were open on Black Friday and we have been two years in a row! Was pretty empty given that but several bowling places were closed (or had limited hours). read more

super disappointed in the Adult cosmic bowling for New Years. Flyer said ADULT only. yet it was full of small kids. they also crammed us with a family of bowlers who got there before us and took up the entire table and seating area so we couldnt even sit near our lane. This was our go to bowling alley as it is close to our home, but will be the last new years party we attend there. read more

Love this place on Friday night from7:30 to 9:30 you can bowl and get a large pizza and a pitcher of pop for 35 dollars. Than at 9:00 they have glow blowing, the food was so good they have raffles and the staff is wonderful take your kids and have a great time. read more

In town for a national bowling event. Clean and very helpful staff with reasonable pricing on items at the snack bar. Lanes ran very good. The proshop was also very accommodating with helping my son and his equipment. read more

Snagged a good LivingSocial deal that included 4 games, 2 shoe and a pitcher of soda for $10 bucks. My friend called at 4:00pm to find out if they had open bowling since it was a Friday night and the person at Sterling Lanes mentioned that it was open bowling until 7 pm..so 4 of us from work went down for a relaxing game of bowling after a long week by 5:00 pm. As soon as I mentioned I had a Livingsocial deal, the assistant manager asked me for a printout of the voucher (not mentioned on the rules of the deal) and she insisted that I had had to book a lane before I came in (not mentioned on the deal as well) AND she had a fundraiser at 7pm, so we had to be out there by 6:30 pm because she needed to oil the lanes. Anyway, the assistant manager was rude and not accomodating though there was ample time for the 4 of us to finsh our games. She kept saying 'you are never going to make it' and giving us the death stare the entire 25 minutes we took to play the game. Well, customer care/service was quite awful and the atmosphere is dingy and musty. There are better places around the area that you can check out. Until and unless I have a better experience here..I will suggest that you do not go there unless you want to be treated like you are comitting a crime. read more

The bowling alley is big, and has lots of lanes. That is the only thing it has going for it. They water down their liquor. So if you are ordering drinks, only order things that come in bottles. Other wise you are wasting your money. You can taste the difference if you order a plan shot. They also do not have a good variety of liquor choice. So go to bowl, but no for anything else. read more

Its cheap but not worth the couple of bucks to bowl. If you call or look at their posted times theyre open until midnight, but they basically never are. The last two times i bowled there it was around 10:30, and i wanted 3 games with one person. This does not even take an hour. Both times the manager was rude and we felt like the biggest inconvenience by bowling at their bowling alley... not to mention after 11pm you will just get the death stare until you leave. The staff was helpful and nice, I brought in 4 young kids during a league night and they had some lanes open for open bowling. The kids had fun, but I think the whole thing was pretty pricey. For 5 of us to bowl two games, rent shoes, and have one thing of "monster" fries it cost over $40. For the first game they didn't give me the junior rate, and the kids were all under 12 years old. I think it should have been much cheaper!! The 3 year old should have been free in my opinion, he barely played. I was looking for a fun thing to do with my cousins and while we had fun, it definitely was not a budget friendly evening. Nice staff though, they were patient and helpful which was nice because I had 4 young ones with me. read more

Age limit on bumpers apparently. Was told we couldn't have bumpers because they "break too easy on these lanes". A bowling alley without bumpers? Don't come here if you're not good at bowling but still want to have fun and knock pins down because you'll just end up with gutter balls read more

This bowling alley is horrible. The place is really old and needs new lanes and equipment. The building needs a major cleaning and renovation. The only good thing is the price to bowl here. But i dont want to waste money to bowl in this dump. Avoid. read more

We had a baby shower in the room at the front of the building. They did an awesome job it was nice and easy to decorate did not feel like a bowling alley at all. We got the chicken and roast beef, tossed salad, red skin potatoes mixed veggies. Everything was good. They provided the sheet cake and it was very good. Tracy was so nice to deal with the prices were great. Overall experience 5 stars!! read more

I've been bowling here for close to 43 years. Since I was in elementary school. Unfortunately the manager or whoever the older guy there is never even remembers anyone as a regular. He treated our family like total crap. He put our special needs child down for wanting a certain lane number one time when the place was practically empty and we didn't go back for 2 years. Well we just went back again because we had "kids bowl free" tickets and the guy flipped out again because the time on the coupon clearly said it can be used 12pm-10pm and his specials he scribbled on a dry erase board started at 7pm which is when we arrived to bowl. He was verbally abusive toward me in front of my kids when I said it was false advertising. He said he isn't in control of what the website promises but then why does his alley participate at all when they clearly lure people in by using come ons for children and then try to bilk them into paying to bowl anyways. Horrible customer care! We paid for two games. We put our names in (two people) and pressed start and began to bowl. Halfway into the game a magical third person gets added neither of use were near the consol so I have no idea how this third player got added and now are scores are only going into the thier row. We request help and a male worker tells us to press enter clear bowl so we did. It erased all our scores so we said oh we'll and continued to bowl. We get to frame 9 and the game turns off. We ask for help again and the manager says rudely "well go finish your game." like we aren't suppose to finish are game geese. We play our last frame and the game shuts of again we go back up and say we payed for two games and only got one cause theier consol malfunctioned he said no we played two and printed off our first score sheet which had ten frames played when we only played five! He refused to give us our second game stating we played two, but this is ridiculous because it is not our fault we had to start over because of thier faulty equipment. Went there on a Sunday night for a work gathering of 20 people or so. We had called days ahead of time and scheduled 6 lanes for 9pm and we were told that there would be no problems. The bar and the snack grill would be open. When we all showed up we were told that they had no idea we were coming and and that they didn't have a bartender on staff so the bar was closed. Also the grill closed at 9. I made sure to inform them of our displeasure before we left and took our money elsewhere. read more

Me and my family came here for a New Years Eve bowling special. What a waste. very unorganized, under staffed, rude staff. food took over 90 min to arrive (we had two hours of bowling) the amount of food was enough for 2. Fun time just not very updated and sort of unkept. Bowling is always a good time though and staff is nice enough.

We just held our fundraiser here this past Sunday, and what a good time we all had. The staff was really helpful in setting us up for our raffles, door prizes. They got us started when we needed to and served our pizza and pop which is great tasting pizza. We raised over $800 for our cause and the manager gave us other ideas on how we could raise more while we were here. We will be going back again and I will take my family there just to bowl as Sterling is a clean place and nice place to go. read more
