Worst place ever. Lanes are garbage, staff is rude and can't work equipment. Waste of time and money.

I'm not the greatest bowler, but do enjoy a game every now and again. I was meeting a friend and we…read moredecided that bowling sounded like a bunch of fun. I'd called to other alleys and most already had leagues going on, so we found this place and off we went. While it's not the fanciest place comparatively speaking, it was actually one of the few that A) didn't charge $35-40 for a single lane game per person, and B) didn't turn us away as it was already booked for bowling leagues exclusively. Their games were $4 a piece, shoe rental was I think $3 a pair, and they had a separate bar area for those looking to hang out before or after their games. The place could use some attention on the inside, and it doesn't have a lot of games, but it was a good time had by my friend and I. They're open late as well and you can get a few snacks at the snack counter for a reasonable price. They also have a decent selection of balls to choose from if you need one like I did. I would NOT recommend having a kids party here as it's a bit run down for that, and there's nicer alleys in the area compared to this one. But, if your like me and just wanted to hang out with other adults, throw a bowling ball down the alley on a Saturday night and not spend a zillion dollars, this is your place!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The owner first hung up on us when we called to see if…read morethey had alleys open for our group. He was immediately rude from the start. The place reeked of cigarettes. He was talking to my sisters friend asking her name & she her first language is not English so it takes her a minute to understand what someone is saying so she replied saying "Uhm" so him being disrespectful decided to put that as her name trying to be funny and petty. Then when the money was handed to him he told us it's $10 more than he originally said it was. So when we confronted him he told us it was fine & to just give us what we "thought" he said. He then proceeded to shoo us off with the money we handed him still in his hand.

First, I feel like I must warn the readers of Yelp that Bonanza Lanes is not the slightest bit…read moreWestern themed as we had hoped. . . I guess expecting murals of cacti and cowboys would have been a bit much? We ended up at Bonanza Lanes to bowl a couple of games (matches? bouts?) after dining at the local Olive Garden--we like to keep it classy. I think my friends actually found the alley on Yelp! since we were coming from all over and had no idea where the bowling take place, we decided that with a name like Bonanza Lanes, how could it be wrong? Upon arrival I somehow managed to park across three spots like my rusty Taurus was a prize Porsche. I fixed it eventually. I still don't know why they have rows of straight parking opposite angled parking. I guess a little mystery keeps the spice level up. We were here on a Saturday night at about 7:45p.m. and were told that we there would be a roughly 45 minute wait. Since there was a bar we decided to stick it out. . . Inside the alley you will find lots of purple and pink mixed with the décor of any traditional bowling alley. The bar offers the entire family of Bud, Heineken, Molson, and Busch Light. The barmaid was pretty strict about seeing everyone's ID before giving them a glass or even sitting in the bar area. Karaoke eventually happens on Saturdays (maybe other days too?). Thankfully we were able to get our lane in a fair amount of time. The shoes were pretty average bowling shoes, though mine had neon coral laces. The games and shoe rental were each $2.50, so for $7.50 we were able to bowl two games and provide ourselves a little entertainment. There is a small arcade that offers three shoot 'em up games and one that simulates riding a snowmobile. Sadly Ms. Pac-Man was missing. In the back of the bowling alley there appeared to be a kitchen that was serving the typical fried offerings. I wonder if the grease helps with the toss of the ball? I am not an avid bowler but I enjoy it from time to time; bowling is good clean fun. I was hoping they would have glow bowling because I think it's magical and fabulous--it must be the inner 8 year old in me? I would return to Bonanza Lanes but it didn't offer me any reason to choose it over another barring location.

I had a birthday party here today for my mixed daughter 03/02/2024 and my experience here was…read moredefinitely not great, everytime I went to the snack counter the girl taking orders had a attitude and it seemed like she was taking a long time on perpose huffing and puffing and turning away when I was ordering to the point I only got the kids food I didn't even go back for myself because of how she was acting but she never rang me up for my nachos for my niece so I did go back for my niece . The lady at the counter was looking at me like I was not educated on anything and was confusing on prices and time limits and was just acting like she didn't care but was irritated I asked her to add more time to the lanes. The younger girl with the long blonde hair that cashed me out for my lanes was very kind and seemed like the only one that had a brain in the building I'm very sorry for this review but for spending 400+ on lanes food and drinks it wasn't all that and I am slightly disappointed because I am a single mother and paid a lot of money to try to have a good time but half of the staff was very rude. The guy that gave me my cake that the snack bar let me put in there fridge was very friendly and kind but everyone else was just not . Thank you to the young lady with the blonde hair as well for being kind. ** I bartended at a bowling alley in the past for a year , I'm not on here like some crazy person trying to dog the establishment and like I said there were 2 kind people but over all it was not great. And we were very nice when we were there and cleaned up all of the tables that we used . but please if anyone higher is looking please send people in to see how your staff is treating people . Expessaly the young lady at the snack bar .
