Unfortunately, this has been one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had with any business. Within one year, my lenses have cracked three separate times -- always in the same spot and always within 1-2 months of getting them replaced. I have never dropped or damaged my glasses. This has never happened to me before, and I usually keep my lenses for 3-4 years without issues. When I went back to the store to address the problem, the manager was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Instead of helping me understand why this keeps happening or offering a real solution (like checking or replacing the frame), he told me there was nothing more they could do and that after this remake, I'd be "on my own." When I said I might dispute the transaction since I wasn't getting the service I paid for, he told me to leave the store and sarcastically said, "good luck with the dispute." It was humiliating to be treated that way, especially in front of my wife and kids. I paid over $600 for what I thought would be quality lenses and customer service -- and instead, I left feeling disrespected and disappointed. I've always supported local businesses, but I cannot recommend Fraser Optical after this experience. Quality products mean nothing if the management doesn't stand behind them or treat customers with basic respect.

Finally called Billing (the only dept that answers their phone) and they transferred me to C. who is now on vacation for 2 weeks and her voicemail says she won't listen to any messages until then. If C. would have looked at the fax machine after she "faxed" it she would have seen the message on the fax machine that had not gone thru!

My eyes started bothering me, i figured i needed some drops (since they felt dry) and figured it was from smudges of mascara i got on my contacts! As i started to drive, it became almost unbearable. I was driving and realized that i shouldn't be. I couldn't keep my eyes open and the sunny bright day was painful. Instead of driving to the hall for the funeral, i called my mom and begged her to grab me eye drops and went to her house. The drops killed. Nothing was making it better. I couldn't close or open my eyes, the pain was excruciating. That is when i decided i needed to see someone and ASAP (as it was nearing end of work day about 2:30pm). Since i don't live in town the first place i called was my Mothers ophthalmologist who unfortunately turned me away (they don't see new patients for emergency's) and told me to head to the ER or urgent care. I knew i needed a specialist and did not have hours to spare! So i came across affiliated eye surgeons and Kristy answered. She asked for my insurance and told me i needed a global referral from my doctor and gave me all the information to give my PCP. She said we will get you in, don't worry. She was amazing and helped me sort everything out! Now i get there and everyone of the staff is extremely nice. I did not wait long before they took me to the exam room where a super sweet lady (sorry i don't recall her name but she was great) did a preliminary exam. When she completed, she took me over to another room. There walks in the sweetest Doctor! Dr. Lindsay Rubin asked me if i was okay and did not scold me about anything but actually sympathized with my pain. She and her assistant Ashley were wonderful. She took a look in my eyes and there it was... a dreaded corneal ulcer in both eyes!!! She told me how important it was to catch early and put me on antibiotics ASAP (1 drop per eye every two hours). She told me to notify her ASAP if it doesn't get better. She told me she would call me Saturday morning to confirm that it was healing. She even suggested to give my info to an ophthalmologist in Ann Arbor to follow up. Since we need to do many visits in a short period of time to stop it from doing long term damage. I refused the polite transfer. She was incredible and caring and her bedside manner can't be beat! Plus she knew what was going on and i wanted to be in the best hands, so i will be driving from Ann Arbor to see her for my follow up bright and early Monday morning. They all did such a wonderful job and i am so thankful to them as i could have lost sight in both eyes!! I will never go anywhere else! I will be going to the practice from now on for everything! Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart! I actually felt well enough today to look at my phone and write this book on how amazing you all are! It's all thanks to you!!!

They prescribed her drops and the condition got worse. I then took her to another doctor and they said that we were over reacting. After a week of my mom's eye getting worse and worse. Someone recommended eyesight clinic. What the other clinics failed to do is listen to my mom and ask her the right question. Dr. Raimon Salim Actually listen to her and found out that my mom condition was way worse and that the other drops were not compatible and that they were making her condition worse. After 2 days of seeing Dr Raimon her eye was so much better and she can Actually see. This is a Clinic that cares and I will not stop recommending them to everyone I know. When I arrived, they were quite busy and I wound up waiting for approximately twenty minutes to be seen. I completely understand the wait as I came there during one of their busiest times. Once it became my turn i was greeted by a woman with unnaturally dyed red hair, and I could tell, had an already karen like attitude. She sat me down and I tried on my glasses. The first pair, we're my riding glasses. Everything was fine. I could see good. The bifocals were lined up perfectly. The second pair are my daily glasses that I wear all the time. The distance vision portion was perfectly fine, but I couldn't see a thing out of the bifocals. The woman immediately became a bit frustrated and said that all the measurements were what they were supposed to be. And she didn't understand the problem. I told her regardless, I can't see out of the glasses in their current state. Could you please check the measurements? Make sure they're right. We have to send these back. She took the glasses and went into the back room for another 10 minutes came back out and told me to try them again. I put them on and still the same issue. The bifocal portion was way too low on the lens for me to properly see out of I took them off, placed them on the table. And said, very quietly and very calmly, no I still can't see a damn thing. She then immediately began to chastise me and dress me down in front of everybody in the store about my language, and that I am never to use profanity around them and the children that were in there, there was one child. If you can call him that in the store and he was about seventeen years old. And I think he's heard worse things than somebody whisper the word damn. I am a 59-year-old man. I have never been chastised and dressed down by anybody in public that way, that was the most embarrassing thing. I think I have ever experienced. And because of this house of optical is losing a twenty five plus year customer, his wife and his children as well. The only decent thing about that place that I can tell at this time is Priscilla. She was extremely helpful, extremely polite. She took over everything from this vile woman and come to find out, figured out that my eyes were not measured properly by the technician who initially took the measurements, and that the glasses were wrong and needed to be remade. Priscilla deserves a raise. The red headed. Karen deserves a pink slip.
