The flavors are all extremely unique and it's a mystery what may be in a specific flavor (e.g. Pavlova and mixed berries), but you can try to your heart's content for free. In the end, I doubt there is a "bad" flavor. My favorites were cookieman (like Oreo cookies in a vanilla base) and chocolate cookie. Pistachio was good, but a taster would have sufficed. The little open restaurant has some sandwiches and of course gelato. Not a lot of places to sit and eat, certainly nothing like the food courts at most airports. You just take your gelato and find a place to sit where ever you can. I'm hardly an expert on gelato but the gelato here tasted more like ice cream to me. Certainly not the silky smooth gelato than literally melts in your mouth I've had in other places. The serving sizes were quite small the prices fairly high for what you got. Just a very small cup that was gone in a very short time. Of course this is an airport and prices tend to be higher than usual. They probably know the choices are quite limited and there isn't a whole lot to do in this airport while you wait for your next flight. I certainly would have been disappointed with the gelato, serving size and price if it was anywhere else. But when there is nothing else, just about anything seems decent.
