Don't come here if you are in a rush, the service is slow, but the ice cream is worth the wait. The prices are reasonable. Not a lot of seating inside, but there is a plaza right across the street that is perfect for hanging out while you eat your ice cream.

What?!?! A place that sells ice creams for less than $2?!?! Count me in.. We stopped by late post dinner to check out this local ice cream shop and were stunned by the variety of flavors they had to offer. We spent more than 15 mins deciding on the flavors we wanted to taste. Finally ordered the mango + Coconut (yes they do give you half and half) and the guava + chocolate chip. I The mango coconut was my fav but the other one was a close second. I don't think you can go wrong with anything you pick here. Highly recommend this gem of an ice cream shop in San Juan.

The absolute best ice cream shop in all of PR! They make it all in house and they have such a variety of flavors, such as Coconut, Corn, Passion Fruit, Pineapple, Peanut, Pistachio, Banana, Soursop, Guava and much more. Super inexpensive. Small cup is $1.65 and they pack the ice cream in. Friendly staff, clean seating area. I always return when I'm visiting the island.

Amazing delicious ice cream at such an affordable price! For less then $2 you get a whole cup full. The awesome ladies allowed my friends and I to try most of the flavors. I finally settled with 1/2 peanut butter and 1/2 corn in a cup. She also allowed me to add cinnamon to the corn. Absolutely amazing staff with so much patience.

Great spot for some unique ice cream flavors (ginger, tamarind, soursop -- along with classics like mango & coconut). Soursop was our favorite. Very popular with the locals. Staff is *super* generous with their samples (we tried at least 6 flavors). Great value. Street parking only, so you may have to explore for a minute to find a spot. The square is a little rough looking but felt safe enough. We saw several homeless folks we suspect were high. Fair warning -- the bathroom is the stuff nightmares are made of.

Antes se llamaba Los Chinitos ahora Heladería Georgetti.

One of the best places to get ice cream during late night. I went with my family around 9:30pm and it was packed. We spent $17 and fed 8 people no problem. Get value at a great price. I suggest getting the banana split. Also, this place used to be called Los Chintos (for those who may not recognize the name).

Check out the prices! So cheap!

It's hard to say anything bad about this place!…read more The line is long, but it's full of excitement and gawking at everyone's gelato and seeing their faces when they take their first taste. Also, the line moves pretty quickly. At $7.19 for the regular (two flavors), it's not cheap (PR McDonald's vanilla ice cream cone is $0.99 for comparison!), but it's definitely worth doing (at least) once. The flavors are all extremely unique and it's a mystery what may be in a specific flavor (e.g. Pavlova and mixed berries), but you can try to your heart's content for free. In the end, I doubt there is a "bad" flavor. My favorites were cookieman (like Oreo cookies in a vanilla base) and chocolate cookie. Pistachio was good, but a taster would have sufficed. Sadly, they did not have a mint and chip!

Very cute interior, clearly well thought out and designed to be a photo/insta location. The colors and decor all flowed well. But beyond that, they have wonderful flavors! We tried about 7 in our group and they were all good. Tasted high quality and you could distinguish what the flavor was supposed to be. Fresh made on site I would guess. The order process is a little difficult w use they have so many flavors spread out over about 15 feet of displays. Hard to pick what you want without running back and forth to see if you would miss anything! The seating areas were nice and had lots of seating. Disappointed to see that the bathroom was out of order and just had an envelope with a handwritten message on it. Really took away from the experience. But would enjoy again!

I need to re-emphasize that I had such low expectations, especially for the taro ice cream, but it was excellent. It had that taro flavor that you wouldn't think a random ice cream shop in condado would get right, but. they. did. I loved that they let you add boba as a topping to the ice cream. I personally didn't try their boba drinks but having the boba with my ice cream definitely scratched the boba itch I had during the trip. My gripes with this place aren't really with the ice cream itself (though I am salty about the fact that 'pocky topping' is just two sticks of pocky jammed into the cup), it's mostly about the experience. Rolled ice cream is cool and all, but what we pay for isn't really the ice cream: it's the experience. Watching them pour the liquid ice cream onto the cold surface, chop it, spread it, and roll it is what we're paying for. And Below Zero has blocked off the area where you'd usually watch them work. I think maybe it's because of COVID that they blocked off half of the store, but it just feels disappointing. Was definitely pricey, but having good taro ice cream was worth it.

Due to COVID restrictions only 1 party was allowed to enter at a time. The menu was conveniently posted outside so making a decision was easy before entering. Once inside there is a place to take temperature and sanitize hands ( this is very common around the island). After placing our order we were handed a beeper and waited outside. The weight was long, I'd estimate 10-15 mins. The ice cream was really good and I would highly recommend, just be prepared to wait.

It was such a delicious treat! This gelato shop is located on Ashford Avenue in Condado. There were…read moremounds of gelato with so many unique flavors & combinations. We just couldn't pass it up. So, let's talk about the history. It all started out as "Anita La Mamma del Gelato" in Tel Aviv back in 2002. "La Mamma del Gelato" that you see on the walls inside this shop represent the mother (Anita Avital) & son (Nir) duo who started it all. It's grown to many more locations to include NYC and Miami. There's even a sub-brand of Anita Gelato called "Golda Gilda" that is very popular in Israel. I have to be honest when stating that I've never heard of either gelato brands until seeing this shop near our hotel. We each decided to get the smallest cup size that includes 2 flavors. I selected Pavlova Mixed Berries and Chocolate Pistachio & Kadayif. There was a white chocolate version of it as well, but I decided to stick with the traditional milk chocolate. I don't remember what flavors my husband picked out. I'm pretty sure he enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed mine. I especially loved the chocolate pistachio one. That layer of pistachio cream & crispy kadayif was delightful. I didn't taste any pavlova in the mixed berry gelato, but it was still wonderful. They're very good about giving out samples for those who are unsure and want to get the perfect flavor. I wish we had returned to try more. It was a delicious & relaxing experience. The service was great. There's plenty of seating inside and outside. We fortunately arrived in the late afternoon when it wasn't too busy. Definitely do not pass this one up when in Condado.

They are open what feels like all day and into the late evening. And it is reasonably priced for a good amount of gelato. Really, you can't go wrong here. I didn't encounter a bad flavor. Plus, they let you try flavors so give it a whirl before you decide. Definitely a place to stop in if you're in the area. Maybe even multiple times if you like it as much as we did. No shame!

First--rolled ice cream is basically edible entertainment. I stood there way longer than necessary watching them flatten, scrape, and roll it like I had nowhere else to be. Super creamy, fresh, and not overly sweet--which means you can actually finish it without feeling like you need to lie down immediately after. Big win. The vibe is adorable--very vintage, colorful, and just a fun little spot to duck into and cool off. Definitely one of those places you end up taking pictures in without planning to. Service was adequate--nothing over-the-top, but they kept things moving and got us through the line without any issues, even when it was busy.
