Very cute interior, clearly well thought out and designed to be a photo/insta location. The colors and decor all flowed well. But beyond that, they have wonderful flavors! We tried about 7 in our group and they were all good. Tasted high quality and you could distinguish what the flavor was supposed to be. Fresh made on site I would guess. The order process is a little difficult w use they have so many flavors spread out over about 15 feet of displays. Hard to pick what you want without running back and forth to see if you would miss anything! The seating areas were nice and had lots of seating. Disappointed to see that the bathroom was out of order and just had an envelope with a handwritten message on it. Really took away from the experience. But would enjoy again!

Service was friendly as she explained the options (i.e. water based vs milk based). They have a few sugar-free options which was appreciated. My main complaint is that the ice creams were not well labeled. I asked what flavors a few of them were but felt bad asking every single one... it would help if they were clearly labeled. I had a coconut milk popsicle which was good but nothing to write home about. Overall, average.

We stumbled upon this lovely shop after a nearby dinner and were drawn in by the cute sprinkle decor and expansive menu. Their ice cream case, which is guarded by a fun, funky little three-eyed mascot, features all the classics -- vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, oreo -- but also a ton of fun combos, including mascarpone stracciatella, dulce de leche, pandan, manchego, ube, and carrot cake. I was in the mood for something refreshing to combat the Puerto Rican heat and got one of their signature sorbets (although I have to admit I've already forgotten what it was). What I do remember, however, was that it was incredible -- it was super fruity, light, and refreshing, and the perfect epilogue to my dinner.

I need to re-emphasize that I had such low expectations, especially for the taro ice cream, but it was excellent. It had that taro flavor that you wouldn't think a random ice cream shop in condado would get right, but. they. did. I loved that they let you add boba as a topping to the ice cream. I personally didn't try their boba drinks but having the boba with my ice cream definitely scratched the boba itch I had during the trip. My gripes with this place aren't really with the ice cream itself (though I am salty about the fact that 'pocky topping' is just two sticks of pocky jammed into the cup), it's mostly about the experience. Rolled ice cream is cool and all, but what we pay for isn't really the ice cream: it's the experience. Watching them pour the liquid ice cream onto the cold surface, chop it, spread it, and roll it is what we're paying for. And Below Zero has blocked off the area where you'd usually watch them work. I think maybe it's because of COVID that they blocked off half of the store, but it just feels disappointing. Was definitely pricey, but having good taro ice cream was worth it.

Honestly, the hardest part was picking a flavor because they were all so good. The portions are generous, and the shop is cute and colorful. Even with so many customers, the staff stayed calm, organized, and handled the volume extremely well. The line may look intimidating, but it moves pretty quickly. Trust me, it's worth the wait!
