When leaving they said it was a $15 co-pay and $75 for an infraction. Was under impression it was totally covered by my healthcare. Could not review paperwork given to me due to my eyes had been dilated. Once home I called my insurance company and was told EVERYTHING was covered as this was a regular eye exam. The Eye Associated had coded it as a Medical eye exam. Days later when I checked their appointment person they default all appointments to Medical! To make matters worse, when I looked at their future appointment and $15 and $75 receipt, they applied everything to another patient with the same last name as mine! (A HIPPA violation I am sure) still trying to straighten everything out!

Scheduling people just jam as many people into the waiting room as they can, and then YOU get to hope that they'll eventually get to you. 1st visit? 1.5 hrs after our scheduled time. 2nd visit 2+ hours after our scheduled time. Reason? "Doctor has to leave at 1:00 PM today so we called his appointments in for a morning visit." We were technically the 2nd scheduled appointment. They lost us in the paperwork and eventually saw us. I think the medical care here is excellent but I'm not at all sure it's worth the wait. Upside? Everyone was unfailingly polite during the process.

Soon after paperwork was completed, I was called in to start my eye exam. Finished all those steps and with my eyes dilated, Dr Zusman came in for final assessment.
