Dad got a 6 month old gorgeous husky/shepherd pup who has already accomplished sit, home, and working on the "leave it" command. She is high energy and leaps over coffee tables and chairs to grab her favorite toys from the couch to kill. Seriously, the living room is a battle zone of stuffing and body parts. Being on the east coast, football runs late, and I was tired. Didn't even think when I took my glasses off and left them on the coffee table. Well, the pup has quite the party with my $700 progressive, transition, Tiffany frames. They were officially declared dead with chewed lenses, bent frames and precise teeth marks that would totally name her as the culprit of said murder. Called Eyeglass World to see if they could make me a new pair by the 13th (flying home) they said they would try. Picked out two new frames while a team of professionals tried successfully to verify my Rx amidst the carnage. When all was said and done I spent $559.95 for two pairs of glasses with progressive transition lenses in really cute frames! A huge thank you to Edward and Jennifer for getting me all set up to see by early next week. You can rest assured I wear them to my bedroom from now on. read more

I have never in my life have so many problems with my eye glasses!! For 3 yrs in a row now they have gotten my prescription WRONG! The lines on my bifocals are not even and they will not fix them or fill the prescription properly. I have reported them to my insurance company and advised them that they need to drop thos place as a provider! read more

My entire experience at Eyeglass World was wonderful. From the Optometry staff and Dr.Cherry to the Opticians staff, everyone was pleasant and attentive. Jamie was especially helpful as I was looked for frames and guiding me through different options when I was ready to order. They had a decent selection of reasonably priced frames, and I liked that I was able to pick up my glasses later the same day. I also liked that the staff was continually sanitizing all frames that customers had touched. I wanted to stick with the advertised 2 pairs for $67, but I couldn't find anything I loved on the $67 rack, and ended up picking more expensive frames. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchases and I was pleased that every step of the process was made easy by the staff there. A great bunch of people working together for the customer's benefit! With the Coronavirus being present they went above and beyond insuring masks were worn, exam rooms were sanitized, every pair of glasses were sanitized and my temperature was taken before even entering the store. Lousy experience. Everything went as expected until I went back to pick up my glasses. They were made incorrectly. The right eye was perfect but the left eye was blurry. A few years ago I had cataract surgery. At that time a lens was inserted in my left eye. I can see perfectly out of that eye for distance. So basically the left lens just needed to be clear glass or adjusted in the most minute way. I explained all of that to the man that was helping me and he was in the process of making things right. But then the man, Fraz, who did the initial consultation came over and wanted to know what was going on. I explained the whole thing over again. His response was that I did pay attention to what he told me. I said enlighten me. He just mumbled something. Then he goes to a machine and checks on something. He comes back and says they are perfect. I said I can't see out of them. He says so are you going to take them? NO! With that he tossed them down and walked away. The original man took over and finally got things right. It's hard to think that Fraz was trying to convince me that I was wrong. Never going back! read more

The staff at this Eyeglass World went out of their way to get my glasses to me in time for an out of town trip. When only one pair arrived, they overnighted the other pair asap. I am sorry I can't remember the name of the young lady who took care of all that but I really appreciated her going the extra mile. I'm also very grateful to Bambi for picking out some awesome frames after I described what I wanted. She knew her inventory and saved me a ton of time. I just read some of the complaints people experienced....I have to say I've used them now on 4 eye tests and 4 new eyeglass upgrades over a 10+ year period and never ever had a problem. Made an appointment for 245pm for both of us. They take you in a room and the assistant ran several test. The eye doctor took my wife back and did her exam. They came out and call someone else back. When we told the eye doctor had the same time appointment the doctor said it not my problem you need to talk to someone else. I'm busy. The appointment was scheduled for 245 but they scheduled us for 3pm and 330pm. What a joke. I will never go back. read more

I agree with others, High pressure. I called to inquire about the eye exam cost. $105 to $159, It depends on the type of contacts you need ?? I offered to show and /or discuss my old script , ( from previous Doctor).. That cost, cannot be done because it depends on your (new exam) to determine contact eye needs ! I know, but with my old script ,the doctor can give me a pretty good idea on cost. That's why I offered to show and or tell my old script to get an idea of the cost! No they HAVE to do the exam, cannot determine from the old ( 1 year) script. WHY not? because they have to do the exam. The old circus is back in town and the madmen are running the show In short High Pressure and with refusal to even discuss my old script a SCAM. After I got testy with her, ( but, I have a script from a Doctor ) she revealed my exam could cost , + 130 to 140, for special contacts ( again my script) etc etc etc real cost ? appprox $250 to $350 NOT what they claim. High pressure to buy what John wanted me to purchase. Instead of $98 glasses I wanted his push was about $330. I was left totally dissatisfied by his approach. It seemed like a bait and switch operation. I have purchased from them in the past but it is not worth being hassled, pressured and pretty much refused to honor their advertised pricing.
