Nothing could be further from the truth. She finally reluctantly reduced the payment fee a bit, but assuring me that next year I would just have to pay the full amount. I only realize now how poorly treated I was by especially Dr. Madonna at Maggiore's where truly everything about the experience was awful except for the one gentleman doing the eye tests before seeing the doctor. Everything about this experience was the complete opposite. Every single person was pleasant, kind, and accommodating. I felt extremely comfortable and cared for. The person who did my eye tests before seeing the doctor was truly kind and assisted me with my autistic needs throughout. The doctor was also very patient, knowledgeable, and helpful in a way no other eye doctor had been up to this point. Before this visit, I had only once in my entire life experienced such caring professionals. Most, with the experience of one doctor, had only done the bare minimum and "performed" their basic duties and nothing more. I had been having very negative experiences with doctors and dentists lately, and my expectations were extremely low because I was worried I was going to be disappointed yet again. I'm so glad I found trusting professionals who truly care and want to help. I came in extremely fatigued and struggling with memory problems due to my chronic insomnia, fatigue, and pain, along with my autism and ADHD. I was never talked to in a rude or condescending tone or made to feel "less than" for misunderstanding something, asking clarifying questions, taking "too long" to do things, or forgetting some information unlike how I was at Maggiore's with Dr. Madonna. I recommend Dr. Chan and her staff to all patients as she is she and her staff are very accommodating and pleasant. I can't say enough positive things about this experience. It's life-changing and extremely important to have an affirming doctor, especially in the world we live in now full of self-serving, selfish, and unkind people. Please don't go to Maggiore's and see Dr. Madonna if you are on the austitic spectrum as she is extremely unprofessional and uncaring if you struggle to communciate and behave like a neurotypical person because you're neurodivergent and your brain just works differently like mine does. It's been over a year and that experience I had with Dr. Madonna from last year still scars me and has given me even more anxiety around doctors and dentists than I had before. Please give Dr. Chan and her staff a try if you are having problems communicating effectively with your current doctor and not getting the care you feel you deserve.

The lady behind the desk wouldn't even talk directly to me at first she just told the associate they couldn't help me until I made a fuss. The manager Dillon came over and was no help. He just looked at the frames and looked at the lady behind the desk. When I asked her if I had come to the wrong eyeglass store she told me "looks like you did". In Front of the manager.
