Inside is clean and quaint, with tasty breads, meats and cheeses from local farms. And while those are darn good- let's talk about the ice cream. This is the creamiest, most flavorful ice cream I have ever had in my life. No like seriously. This ice cream is small batch and it's AMAZING. I had the chocolate peanut butter egg (their Easter flavor), my husband had coffee, and my son had chocolate. Each was phenomenal in its own way. I don't know when I will be back in this area of Pennsylvania but if I'm anywhere remotely near, I will drive out of my way to have some more. Seriously folks, this ice cream is special.

It tasted very fresh very creamy. Specifically the mint one was into minty. It was just the right amount of mint and the chocolate one wasn't too sweet. The cherries actually provided a nice darkness that balanced out the chocolate. The chocolate itself had a decent amount of sweetness, but it wasn't overpowering so I felt like that was a nice balance. It definitely felt like a homemade fresh sort of ice cream and the cool part is at this place that the flavors end up changing I think every week so they have new flavors that they come out with so it's always a new experience. The only reason why he gave it four choices instead of five stars again because they don't provide that tasting service so that's just one thing that I thought that was kind of a miss.

Pretty standard menu items for a diner in rural PA. Nothing particularly exceptional on the regular food menu, but it has a comftorable atmosphere, friendly staff, and a lot of options. The lemonade is awful (don't get it). Their take on blizzards are pretty amazing. The quality of the ice cream has shifted considerably over the years, but recently the soft serve chocolate was excellent. The hard serve is standard Hershey's, and while decent can be obtained anywhere these days. Nice little spot for some ice cream or a quick bite in the middle of nowhere (i.e. Orangeville, PA). Might have bumped down to three stars, but the former Creekside Restaurant has burned down and therefore little to compare to it.
