I called up Rich , and wanted to come in that day, and he just said he was going to be leaving early, as he had some business to attend to, and I couldn't get off work till the end of the day, so I told him about the next day , he said I will stay open until you can make it the next day which he did. He also asked me a question that other locksmiths have never asked. He said I should be able to cut you a key , it's whatever brand it was , but is there any chance you could bring the lock in? I said yes , because it was a padlock , not a door lock. But I've had other padlocks keyed, and the locksmiths or key person never asked me that. Great guy. Quality work, good prices. Fair & honest. Initial contact: They were extremely responsive when I reached out and I loved being able to schedule online (and there was a solid amount of availability. At the appointment: When it came time for the appointment, the technician (who was on time and fully communicative) went above and beyond in the best way. Not only did the technician answer my 100 questions and concerns about smart locks, but he also advised me my options with different locks throughout the property to balance safety and cost. I thought they would only replace the locks but they also were able to replace the doornobs, offering several appealing options in the style I wanted. They had a variety of options for locks too - regular door locks, deadbolts, and smart lock varieties. They even cleaned off the door all around the doornob because it was dirty and looked a little gross! My biggest joy has to be that they were able to use the same locks on multiple doors so we could use one key for all the doors, which is a lifesaver because I was startingbri appear as a janitor with so many keys, lol. After it was all done, they made me a bunch of copies of the key, which was helpful and honestly unexpected because I thought I'd have to go to Lowes after to do that myself given the million and one copies we needed for various family members. While the deadbolts worked perfectly, I soon realized the keys in the doorknobs were sticking and difficult to push in all the way. I reached out, and they sent a second technician (Christi) who took the time to resolve the issue. While it was a bit disappointing that the job wasn't completed the first time correctly, I am very pleased with the final result. Messaged or called several locksmiths. This one could come most quickly. Prices were pretty similar. Communication was excellent.
