Franks Cycle Shop is the best. When shops says honesty is their policy, Frank's wrote the book! I didn't think we'd ever get my trike running normally again. We kept bringing it to another shop and nothing worked. Finally, a friend recommended that we bring it to Frank's. Nothing was touched until we approved the work, which was explained to us in detail. My 2 cents. If you want to go there, deal with Warren (the adult). The other two guys are more frustrating than helpful. One ordered me the wrong part, I paid in advance, and was stuck with the wrong part that he selected from a catalog to replace a part I brought to them to order. If you order a part, DO NOT pay until you see and compare the part. When I complained that I received the wrong part they said, "call back in a few days when Warren is here." No refund. I went there to get a refund, "talk to Warren, have a nice day." New useless part. Two star review because Warren does know what he's talking about on old Hondas. read more

Stay away ,not insured and the place is such a mess your bike gets a scratch an your screwed.the two mechanics in the back if thats what you want to call one guy no certifcations an the other with a whole 6 years experiance.With one on the phone all day long and when you pick up your bike you will be going back with loose bolts or not running right as you get charged .the other on i wouldnt let change my oil hes just praticing on your bike or watching you tube to learn what to do .An the owner warren the guy is loosing his mind im not kidding . So in the end stay the hell away from a place like this other places in town that will not over charge and have insurance.your welcome. read more

Let me start with saying if I could give zero stars to this location I would. I chose this shop as they were more than willing to match online pricing for tires for my bike. They seemed professional on the phone and I was told to come early today (Saturday) to get my bike done. I asked when they opened and they stated 9am and I said I'd be there at 9am. I arrive this am to a closed up shop with no one in-site. I figured they were just running behind. A few gentlemen from the shop next door came to assist me and stated that due to some family issues the owner wouldn't be in. I then told him I was told yesterday by a Victor to come in. They kind of gave me a look as if yeah they may not happen. A few minutes later, one of the workers showed up. I believe his name was Dave and told me he didn't have the keys and Victor wouldn't be in till 10am. I stated that this is very poor business and he apologized and said that he would like the work and would get it done but you know how it is, "The boss is away and Mice will play" Are you kidding me!? I attempted to find another shop that would be open on a Saturday to no Avail. My tires are pretty shot and I can't just aimlessly drive around at the last minute to accomplish this. I took the bike home and contacted Victor. This guy answers the phone and when realizes who I am offers zero apology, no remedy, NOTTA! He tells me that he got a nail in his tire and can't control these events. He stated that this is what he told Dave, however this is clearly not what was told to me. This had to be hands down the most unprofessional encounter I have had with a shop and would never recommend them to anyone. The unfortunate side of this is I was told there was a really sad reason the owner was not at his shop today, and to have his workers not only disrespect his business while he is gone but his customers as well. Warren, I'd love to speak with you about this and will definitely be following up. I can assure you, that if the people that worked for me treated my clients this way there would be more than a retraining completed. Your employees are the face of your business and represent you and your company. Word of mouth is huge in local business, and this have put a major ding in your future referrals. read more

They not only did not find the problem I brought it in for, when it's time to pick it up all of a sudden they find a host of other things wrong, had to leave it again ( 30 miles back home ONCE MORE) Over $ 500.00 for nothing, Take your Harley somewhere else. complete waste of time and money. read more

I must be the unlucky one because my experience with Franks was a nightmare. I have a new HD Street Glide with only 800 miles. I wanted an American Suspension big front wheel put on and normally I do all the work myself. I didn't have the time so I took it to Franks because of the reviews on Google were good so I trusted them. I was quoted 6 hours labor, $150 to paint my fender plus of course any normal shop material. I got a call the next day at 11:30 AM stating the bike was stripped down and if I wanted handle bars (which I wanted to do later at some point). They open at 9AM so they had the bike stripped in about 2-1/2 to 3 hours. Then I stopped in to see the progress and I was told there was now 8 hours into the bike and the fender cost went up to $300. He never called me or let know there was additional costs. He just thought its OK to blindly spend my money. Then he spent the next 15 minutes talking really fast and telling me about how he only had to pay for 3 customers paint jobs in the past. I really had no idea why he told me that but all I knew is the cost went way up. So I questioned the cost and he said he would make it right. I then gave him $500 bucks to help cover his costs as I try to be fair when it comes to these things. I left for the day thinking he will honor his word and make the final bill right. Then I got a text message that the fender wasn't done and it had to be repainted. Now I understand why he told me about the paint repairs of the past. I bet he screwed up the paint and it had to be repainted and he was going to stick me with the bill. I was also told they had 12 hours into the bike now but he was only going to bill me for 8. 12 hours? What happened to the 6 hours? They had the bike stripped down in less than 3. I obviously blew a gasket and told them to stop working on the bike. After a long night of not sleeping I went there in the AM and picked up the bike. It took everything I had not to loose it with these guys. Even my wife was there to keep me calm but she was just as upset as I was. We ended up settling on 7 hours of labor and the original paint quote. I took the bike home, without the fender, and started going over their work. What a mess. They had the brake lines wrong so when it turned they pinched between the fork and frame. More so, it hit the wheel when the wheel was turned . Sure there will be a fender but the brake lines shouldn't rub against anything- ever. I then noticed there was a wire sticking out of my headlight bezel. They even put the silver screws for the lower dash panel into the top fairing windsheild. It was 2 sliver screws and a black screw instead of 3 black screws like it should be. I had a major scratch in the ignition switch and another on the front fairing that were not there when I dropped the bike off. Lastly, he ran the brake lines on top of the battery so that i can't get the battery out without breaking the brake line loose. Totally screwed up a brand new bike. I spent 6 hours over the weekend taking the bike apart and doing it the right way. I did all that in 6 hours and they are trying to tell me they had 12 hours into it and it was all &*&^%$ up!. I have tons of pictures if you want them. Are they cheaper than Harley. Yes. BUT you get what you pay for. Total hack job. read more
