Making overnight stop in Indio. And used YELP to find s barbershop. And YELP cam through and found a great place. Frank's Authentic Barbershop. Carlos was the one that welcomed to the shop. He asked what I was looking. I said a hair trim and my new bread trimmed to look sharp. And Carlos did that to perfection. I was a walk in. So don't hesitate thinking you can't get in. Go for it! read more

Best cut and shave I've had in a long time! Great service, great price and friendly people. Thanks again!

We're in town for three months, checked out the reviews, and gave Frank's a try. Immediately upon walking in, I was greeted by Chris who sat me in his chair. He asked a bunch of questions about what kind of haircut I wanted before he started working. As he was cutting, he asked additional questions to make sure he was delivering what I wanted. Despite being very happy with my cut, he also told me to call him if I later decided there was an issue. Wow! Highly recommend! read more

Went in for a haircut and was so pleasantly surprised when I got there and watched Chris finish working with a special-needs kid. He's so patient and Barry careful on what he does. When the kid wanted to interact he interacted with him I mean it was just amazing to watch Aaron When I got in the chair and asked told him what I wanted. I got exactly what I wanted and I was so happy with the results and View need a haircut. If you need something specific or if you have a special needs child in your life this is the barber you want to go to you will not be disappointed. read more

So grateful to Frank. My son's Occupational Therapist recommended Frank because of his kindness and finesse with kids who have fear or sensory concerns related to hair cutting. He came outside to greet my son with a friendly fist bump and introduction. He gave him a very colorful cape and explained what he would be doing (scissors not clippers as the buzz from the clippers distresses my guy). Tears evaporated and were replaced with smiles. He is so proud of his cut and we are so proud of our guy and thankful for Frank!! Over a year without a "professional" haircut (lol) and we're looking good! read more

Frank's Authentic Barber Shop - Barbers Near Me - Indio, California

Unfortunately my 3rd and last time on this place called Barbershop The staff was not friendly at all since my first time Customer service was some of the worst that l've seen !! Don't bother scheduling an APPOINTMENT they don't honor APPOINTMENTS on my second visit a couple more clients who set appointments having to wait just as long as a 45-60 minutes NO APOLOGIES!! Either way who wants to pay $20 and wait forever for a turd? There are plenty of other places that want your business!! I will never go back to this Place and I will tell everyone I know to avoid this place!! read more

Men's haircut and Child's hair cut. Carlos cut my son's hair and my husband's hair. Best haircut my son has ever had, haircut was done extremely well. He hasn't really liked haircuts because he mentions that they hurt him with the clippers no complaints from him that day. It was clean cut, we requested tapered. Too bad we were only driving by and don't live close enough to be able to get a haircut here. But we will be definitely be stopping by anytime we drive by this area. Too bad Salinas doesn't have good barber shops in our area lost of haircut places but not a good barber shop were I live. Husband's haircut was great too. read more

Seriously, I never leave reviews but this is the worst haircut I've gotten in a while. Not that Frank lacks skill but o wasn't asked a single question about how high to go on a fade or anything else before I got my hair buzzed. Not close to what I wanted. Could use more communication during the hair cutting processes. Good price. read more

Best barbershop in the valley! Moved here 4 years ago and my family went to a lot places before coming here. So glad we found this place with friendly employees, great cuts and great prices. read more

My husband gets his haircut here and I've been taking my sons here for quite a few months now and have always been satisfied, they do a very good job, for a very inexpensive price. The barbers and the environment are really nice and friendly. I just recently left an envelope full of cash there and realized it was missing on my way home. They promptly returned it to me with a smile when I came to pick it up. So honest. Thanks guys!!! read more

My son and husband drive across town to get a hair cut from Frank! Always does a great job!

Just went today for the first time as I'm looking to find a good barber. I didn't get his name but this barer did not disappoint. I showed him a picture and he made it look like it. I was impressed. He did take awhile but I was satisfied in the end. The client next to me was also satisfied with his haircut. So it's good to say the barbers are good in general. read more

My husband and sons have been here a couple of times, and they really love it! I took my youngest son here today, and I was very impressed with this shop. It is very clean, the barbers are very professional, friendly and attentive. This shop specializes in fades and hot shaves, and I honestly feel that these guys do all things well!! Very happy to have a barber shop so conveniently located that provides excellent services at great prices. Great to see a local business devoted to true customer service - they appreciate your business, and it shows! read more

Good Authentic barbers, did a nice job, as the son of a barber, I can tell the true barbers form the others.

Great haircut, for the money spent. Tip your Barber well!

Great place ,we recently moved to Indio and we use to drive 30 mins for a haircut but not anymore ! We found our spot !! Great vibe and very professional , the guys are focus on the job and great costumer service ! read more

This is a great place so close to home! I've been going to the past barber shop for years now, been pretty faithful once I find a place. Unfortunately my previous barber's shop closed and I had to find a new one. This has been a great place and I'm hoping it sticks around for quite a while. Looking forward to having my son's first haircut here also! The guys here are professional, respectful, and do a great job. read more

im gonna be real honest this place is awful and if your reading this stay away because I wrnt there happy and excited for a haircut and left crying wishing I never went in.So I asked for a simple fade on the bottom and to not touch the top and halfway through the cut I asked him if I could check and the top was cut short when the top wasent even supposed to be cut and there was no fade and I was basically bald on the sides and they charged me 30$ for the worst haircut in the world so my tip is stay away and if you do go don't get sat with _isaiahblendz that's his instagram so you should be carful now. read more

We took our 2 year old in for a hair cut and they did a great job. Not only does it look great, but the price is very reasonable, especially compared to other places I've seen. Raymond was very patient with our son, especially when he got squirmy at the end. We will definitely be coming back! read more

The best haircut I have had around here. They listen to what you want and give you that cut. Definitely going back.

This is one of the best places in the valley especially Juan he is my favorite barber and cleans you up nice . They also have affordable prices . read more

Frank's is OPEN!!! Came in and had no wait time and felt comfortable considering the current situation. The barbers are constantly disinfecting their hands and the tools they use. Primarily they give a great haircut as well! read more

Went in and asked for scissors only on the back and cut the bangs because for some reason barbers don't know how to do that nowadays. Walked out with the back of my head shaved which is exactly what I didn't want and didn't ask for and my bangs still long. Why ask what you want if you are going to get what the barber wants to give you. When I said dude you shaved the f&@$ out of the back he said no I just tapered it! Anyone know a good barber? read more

Since moving back to Indio, I found this barber shop very close to me. I thought, give him a try. Best place I've found! Never a wait, great service, and very clean. I hope this review helps him out. He deserves it. read more

Randomly stopped here for a fade and come over while in the area on business. The pricing was reasonable and Matt took care of me and did excellent work. Would definitely recommend this place. read more

Got a haircut for my son and husband. Great friendly staff, really took their time (not a bad thing) and both haircuts turned out even better than we imagined. My husband showed a pic of what style he wanted and they were spot on- made him look better than the pic. He said he wished we had this barber shop up where we're from (we're on vacation). When we come back in town we'll be sure to hold out on haircuts until we get here. read more

Last week Saturday I needed to get a haircut so I walked in Frank's shop and it wasn't really busy maybe one other person and four different barbers after I pick my barber I sit down and he's asking what kind of haircut I want i tell him and he starts cutting my hair but I immediately just get the feeling like this guy doesn't know what he's doing or he just doesn't care about my haircut cause he was sitting down while cutting my hair and this guy is like 5'4 and I'm 6'3' he was barley reaching my head sitting down and I end up telling him hey can you stand up while your cutting my hair if I'm paying I would like you cut my hair standing up and he says "nah your gonna get a good haircut trust" I looked at him and said no thanks and got up and asked anyone else if they could help me out and they all just ignored me. Last time I go to that place this was just my experience I hope it isn't yiur read more

Service was great, I didn't catch the name of the barber who cut my hair but he did a great job! Prices are very reasonable as well!

I used to cut my hair with the same person for a long time. I would move where ever she moved. I would go on her schedule. Well at one point I decided to make it convenient for myself. I met Frank and have been cutting my hair with him ever since. People always complimenting me on my haircuts. "Nice fade" "Clean cut". They're good with my two boys too and one of them is 2! If I don't make an appointment the line goes quick. Dope barber shop. read more

Had a great experience. Was going to be in Indio for Thanksgiving and my 14 and 16 year old needed haircuts. Found this barber through google search. I called one day in advance and he told me though they weren't taking appointments on the day before Tanksgiving I should come in early and shouldn't have to wait long. Got there at 8:15 and there was only one person ahead of us. There were 3 barbers and they were all great. I'm African American and one of my boys had a shaved side fade kinda Kid and Play style and the other traditional fade. the barbers were professional, detailed, very skilled and quick still producing great quality. While waiting saw them work on a non African American little boy and a gentleman whose cuts were different but also very nice. Every time I'm in Indio Indio I would definitely take the men in my family there. The true test, my teenage boys thought the cuts were fresh. Thanks! read more
